Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

So I've had the scan, they did find a tiny embryo size of 5-6 weeks gestation with a little heart beat. I can’t get hopeful about it, I saw a specialist nurse after the scan and I said I’m certain of my dates it doesn’t make sense and she said oh well everything’s perfect at the moment 🙄 well it’s clearly 2 - 3 weeks smaller than it should be. Anyway, I'm very confused, so scared of being hopeful. There's no follow up, just contact the epu if I start bleeding or have pain. X

That's promising that they have found it and it's got a heartbeat. With the size I think they can catch up in the early weeks as there isn't much between them xx

@Handmaid2019 that's really promising. My little lentil is measuring two weeks behind with a heartbeat as well so I understand the stress and worry. I know for certain my lmp. I had the same reaction as well so I'm just trying to take it as a good thing that no one seems concerned.

Aw bless you @Babynum2 , that sounds so tough. Are you sick for most of the day?
Are you keeping much down? It's so exhausting feeling rough everyday isn't it. Feel like I've got a constant hangover !

Good evening everyone! Does anyone know if you can still get implantation bleeding at around 6/7 weeks...experiencing some light bleeding today so trying to reassure myself that it could be normal...hoping for the best but it's been so difficult today! :) xx

@Katlouise24 I have had spotting since 6 weeks. It comes and goes. Only there when I wipe. Some days I get nothing but I'd say at least every 3 days I get something. It's usually just a streak of blood in normal coloured discharge.
I am 8+2 today and it is still happening. It's really driving me mad. At 6+3 I had a scan at EPU and all was fine. I have a call back with them tomorrow hopefully and I'm just going to ask them for reassurance about why it might happen for so long. I don't really understand how if it was implantation for me it could go on over 2 weeks 🤷‍♀️

@LittleAcorn20 oh dear! I hope everything is okay...

I must admit I've been very stressed today about my spotting, the more I think about it the more heavy it seems and there was definitely some clotting which makes me think the worst! I spoke to my EPU but they just told me to keep an eye on it for a couple days and to call them back if it gets worse! I had an early scan a week ago today and baby was measuring 6weeks 2days and had a heart beat so I'm holding onto that for reassurance! :) xx

Sorry to hear it's heavier. At least you could see how it is in the morning and call EPU again.

Omg just got a positive covid test 😞!!! Not ideal when your 9 weeks pregnant , frigggin hell!! Anyone had covid in pregnancy ?

I think I might cave and book a private scan for next week sometime. I'm only 6 weeks but not sure I'll last until the dating scan! I woke up at 2am with crippling stomach pain/cramps - didn't last too long and I managed to get back to sleep quite quickly. Sounds stupid but I just don't "feel" pregnant today, I've not had many symptoms so far anyway (just fatigue/nausea/heartburn) but today I've felt absolutely normal. I've not experienced bleeding or anything but I'm just convinced now something is wrong.

@mariabombia yes I had it a few weeks ago between 4-5 weeks. Seemed slightly worse than when I last had it (at Christmas time) but fine after 4 days or so and a lot of sleep!

Hey everyone I haven’t been on for a few days, today I had my booking in appointment turns out my bmi is 38!!! She said it should be ok woman tend to go on to have a healthy pregnancy. I best start eating healthy from now on!

@Markygirl1995 don't worry about that bmi! Mine was like in the 40s when I had my twin boys, perfectly healthy pregnancy! It's definitely higher now, dreading being weighed to be honest! Think I've lost a little with all the vomiting 😂

@Handmaid2019 if it's any reasurrance my DD was measuring 2 weeks behind on 2 scans. She caught up by 12 weeks and was born 8lbs3. It caused me so much worth because I knew my dates exactly. Babies grow in spurts, not gradually apparently!

Totally understand how you feel. I had brown spotting for over a week, phoned EPU and they booked me a scan for the Tuesday just gone. Woke up on the Monday and just suddenly felt fine, my nausea had gone, I didn't have that for the whole day, boobs felt fine... Was super worried going for the scan and they found a tiny little fetal pole with a heartbeat 🥰 Them bam, Tuesday evening I felt super nauseous and woke up the next day with sore boobs again! Despite everything being fine though I'm still worrying in case something does go wrong. I've got a private scan booked for next week anyway, but I'm honestly considering having one pretty regularly until the 12 weeks haha, can't cope with the anxiety 😩 I'm 6 weeks today and found out I was pregnant two and a half weeks ago so I found out superrrr early, feels like I've known for a lifetime! x

@mariabombia I had it a couple of weeks ago at 6 weeks, felt really ill for 3 days but then ok. Hope you don't feel too ill with it x

Ah that's good to know as I am nervous about the being weighed bit I just hate it! Urgh

I've had lot's of bloating already and the last few days there's been lot's of dull period type cramping but no spotting or anything so hopefully all ok, nobody tells you how nerve-wracking this bit is!

We're trying not to tell anyone as its still so early but navigating social plans is so tough without being so obvious!

Just wanted to update you all.

I had another scan this morning they said they can't see anything in my tubes but the uterus looks like it has a pregnancy in it, I asked why the couldn't see it on the other days and they said they could be never told me. So there looks like there's a pregnancy in my uterus but progressing slowly, I have to go back in a week for another scan. X

OMG they could have told you to ease your worries a little! At least that sounds more positive than yesterday and have a follow up next week.

@Perexi I know it's a bit of hope I'm not sure what's going to happen from them saying it's not going to be a viable pregnancy and maybe ectopic to now they think it might in the uterus but aren't sure and it's progressing slowly I've no idea what to think I should be 8 weeks tomorrow I got my positive 4 weeks ago on Saturday so surely something must be showing by now😐

Can't believe they never told you, what on earth? But yes, this is positive news! ♥️

Is it still viable if it's developing slowly? my levels went from 3760 on Monday to 5532 on Wednesday. I thought it was supposed to double. They just say we have to wait and see when I ask x

Yes I've had these cramps too! Had them since 3 weeks. How many weeks are you? I'm 8+3
