Hi all lovely people!

Here’s a thread for all March babies 🥰 I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo with a due date on the 10th of March 2023. I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks in early March so it feels special that we get our rainbow 🌈 baby around the one year mark!

A little about me: I’m 27, living in Sweden with my fiancé. This is our first child and we’ve really longed for this baby and desperately hoping it will stick this time!

I'm also curious, has speculation on gender come up for anyone yet? Obviously it's too early to tell on scans but my partner is saying girl. There seems to be a pattern in my family of pregnancies with girls being much rougher than with boys and I'm a lot sicker and just feel more run down than I did with my son. Of course I'm also chasing a wild toddler around this time so I'm sure that contributes 😂I'm not really hoping way one or the other but I'm thinking about looking into the blood test to find out early. I'm too impatient

@Kt12344 aww thankyou for asking it stopped i havent had any since yesterday morning i think it could possibly be to do with my coil? All will be told tomorrow when i have my second scan at EPU.

Yes im thinking boy for me. I have a girl and boy already and im very sick like my boy and bumping already only at 7weeks just like with him. OH wants a girl so he is saying girl.

I have just requested to join FB group im LDW and wearing a spotty dress with curly dark ginger hair

Ah wonderful 😊 I didn't have an early scan scan my two children but just can't wait until 12 weeks it seems too long off 🙈 The reassurance and seeing baby will put my mind at ease a little, fingers crossed all goes well. I will have my first midwife appt two days afterwards too! Will this be your first baby @G0ldfinch ? X

Was debating an early scan but I think it'd just make me worry in different ways. Plus I think my dates by my last period and when I actually ovulated are about 5 days apart.

I have 2 girls already so in my head this ones a girl, can't imagine anything else 😆

I called the early pregnancy unit today as I don't yet have a midwife & explained my concerns. The lovely lady on the phone didn't seem concerned at all, she really put me at ease so I feel much calmer about it all tonight ♥️♥️

Im definitely feeling mire positive this time round after my mmc in feb. Symptoms are more constant and stronger this time round which im hoping is a good sign! 6 weeks tomorrow (roughly). When I had my mmc baby stopped growing at 5/6 weeks so feeling a but more hopeful!

@Kt12344 how are things with you?

@Babynum2 I don't know if you would call it spotting but it's brown/ yellow but only a small amount I've been wearing liners and they aren't filling it's just dots so feeling hopeful just waiting it out, it's stops then starts again so just hoping it stops apparently it's very common between 6 and 7 weeks 🙂

is it ok that I’ve requested to join? I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with my second DC. To be honest I’m not sure exactly how far along I am but I think I’m due somewhere between 15th and 25th March!

Is everyone having early scans? I did with my first and don’t think I can make it to 12 weeks for the scan!

Yes @allthingssparkly it’s my first pregnancy. So lovely you have your first midwife appointment lined up to, I’m still waiting to hear back from my local antenatal service. Really keen for the appointment, think it will make it seem more real somehow!

I’m thinking another girl for me, would love another boy though. We are not finding out though so 😬

@Overthebow I'm having one and same as you can't wait for the 12 week one 🙈 mine is at the end of this month 😊 A few ladies on here have had early scans from what I have read.

@G0ldfinch I'm so glad it's been booked in, definitely a relief, it was super quick too from me filling out the self referral form to getting my appt, a few days I'd say. Suppose it all depends on how busy they are in your local area. Hopefully it won't be much longer for you x

Told parents and FIL at weekend but they know it's a secret. Now wanting scan so can just tell all as it will be easier.

I am telling my manager today as we do lift things at work and want her to be aware.

Wow @allthingssparkly great that yours was so quick! I think I am a bit impatient, it’s only been a week. I will continue waiting like @JB2021 !

Was it lovely telling people? DH and I not told a soul yet, but I’m bursting to say - feels like such a big thing to keep secret! I think that’s why I’m waiting on midwife appointment so much, they are the only other people who know!

@G0ldfinch i was nervous telling my parents, also about work. Now I just want it out in the open but we won't do that until scan.

How far along are you? I think I'm 6 weeks. Hoping for call from midwife this week

Hey hope you don't mind me jumping in! @G0ldfinch @JB2021 the longer you know the easier it gets to keep quiet. Just found out at weekend I'm expecting my fourth and really gonna try keep it to myself as long as I can this time. I found with the others people kept asking and then the pregnancies felt like they lasted forever lol.

@Mrs2022 i think it's just stuff like parties coming up, stuff at work etc.

I know the 12 week scan can be between 10 and 14 weeks. If we get it in the 10 to 12 weeks it means we will be able to tell my husbands wider family in person (they live 3 hours away) and we are visiting end of August

@JB2021 it's very exciting. Especially when it's your first. I remember I couldn't wait to tell everyone and the weeks dragged. I suppose with my last two it went a bit faster because I was so busy! How far along are you?

@JB2021 I must be pretty similar to you, according to LMP I’ll be 6 weeks on thurs. Waiting on that call from midwife too! Really keen to tell people but want to be relatively confident with the news and don’t feel I can be until I’m a bit further along and have had a healthy scan.

Thank you @Mrs2022 that’s a perspective I hadn’t considered! Although I don’t think I’d mind people asking, I’m so focused on it myself I want to talk about it all the time! DH will talk to me of course but he is nervous too and doesn’t want to get too excited yet in case anything happens. Such an odd time.

@G0ldfinch it is. Especially when trying to avoid parties / situations that might out the secret.
