Hi all,

4+3 according to Flo app, pregnant after a miscarriage in March at 11 weeks so feeling very anxious / scared and needed a safe space to speak about pregnancy worries without thriving anyone of joy!

It's happened to me again :( have been bleeding over the weekend (hardly anything tbh) and went for scan today and no heartbeat.
Absolutely gutted.

Morning all,

Finally, on leave for a couple of weeks now! So feel like I can engage in life again. Unfortunately, I started bleeding again last night and it is back to quite a substantial amount of brown bleeding this morning. I also had some pain in my stomach and lower down yesterday so I am feeling very anxious for our 12 week scan tomorrow. I am thoroughly prepared for the worst...really thought we might make it this time though.

How is everyone else doing at the moment? Sorry, you have had such a rough time with the tests @Skylark1990 but that dye stealer has hopefully helped.

@BEL88 I am so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are doing as well as can be expected. We are here if you need to destress/vent about the world. Take all the time you need to recover - sending lots of love x

I have my 12 week scan on Thursday and I’m nervous…. Do the nerves ever go away?

my sickness has also stopped which is adding to the worry but a couple of weeks ago I would of given anything for it to be away! Can’t win eh?

Hope everyone is ok I hear we’re in for some warmer weather over the next few days we’re even getting some in Scotland

@Bel88 I'm so so sorry to read your news. It's terribly unfair.

@RedelleJ Sorry to hear that the bleeding has returned. Glad you have a scan tomorrow. Please keep faith that things will be okay. You have had the bleeding before and each time your scans have gone well.

@Lmcc88 I can honestly say, for me, the worry never fully goes away. Not until I held DS in my arms. And sure then you just move on to different worries about looking after a newborn

I had my 12 week scan today and despite everything going well I know I'll be back to worrying again soon. Until you properly feel movements etc it's hard not to as you don't really know what's going on in there! Especially once symptoms ease and you start feeling normal again for a few weeks.

I have never experienced any movement before so I’m looking forward to how that’s going to feel!

May least we all have each other to lean on though, when we feel a little down or worried

The worry seems endless @Lmcc88 I don’t know about you but I am feeling exhausted with it - was up at 4:30am just worrying again.

@RedElleJ yeah it’s really hard my dreams are really intense too and not very nice at times.

it’s a stressful time absolutely I know money worries are also starting to creep in for my DH more than me at the minute. Lots to think about

@RedElleJ that's a shame and unfair how your not even allowed to be happy for even the short term without worrying. I hope it turns out ok tomorrow and have everything crossed for you because you hear of these things happening and no explanation but baby turns out absolutely fine.

My 5 year old joe has chicken pox just as if life weren't crazy enough lately I have that to add and avoid! I've had it when I was younger so should be fine but again with pregnancy nothing is a given is it. And so we keep going.

@moobugz You're not based in London are you? We've been in a heatwave for over a month. I'm so done with it 😆 Fantasising about Autumn and cooler weather!

@moobugz Where I'm from in Ireland has very similar weather to Scotland. I'd honestly prefer it. I'm not equipped to cope with heat at all lol!

I’ve got my first scan with EPU tomorrow morning, think I should be around 8+3…I’ve felt so rubbish these past couple of weeks I’m hoping that means the little bean has been growing well 🤞

@STom2 so glad your scan went well!another hurdle over! I, too, can not wait for cooler weather! I find the heat so draining and difficult and just want an excuse for a jumper and a hot chocolate.

I hit 12 weeks today - not that it helped the anxiety but it’s nice too! Scan isn’t til next week - but had one last week so I don’t mind! I hope the scans go well for you both tomorrow @Gamergirl84 @RedElleJ xx

I’m in the NW, so whilst it’s been hot, it’s been nothing like some people are getting down south! I used to live in London till a few years ago and remember the summers - the tube was horrendous, I’d be a sweaty mess by the time I got to the office! 🥴

I've had a stressful few days with some bleeding so was referred to EPU, thankfully baby is measuring right on track and had a good heartbeat. No obvious cause for the bleeding which has now stopped. I'm nearly 9 weeks and time seems to be going so slowly, the anxiety has been awful.
