Hi all,

4+3 according to Flo app, pregnant after a miscarriage in March at 11 weeks so feeling very anxious / scared and needed a safe space to speak about pregnancy worries without thriving anyone of joy!

Feel free to join and share the journey together.

Hi All :) and congrats again @Skylark1990 - fingers are firmly crossed for you x

Sorry I’ve been so sporadic lately - work has been busy! But I’m off next week so will have plenty time to catch up.

Just thought I would let you know that we had a scan at 10+4 today and baby is wriggling away ☺️ Feeling a bit better but obviously still have a long way to go x

Littlegoth · 01/08/2022 13:15

So nice to see all the positive news today ♥️

I had my first scan at the recurrent miscarriage clinic (6+3) and I am in empty sac limbo until next Friday(12th). My OB said it’s in the right place and all signs are positive as far as shape etc, and that this isn’t uncommon at this stage so to try not to worry. I had exactly the same in my last pregnancy at the same stage, and he’s currently at nursery but of course I am worrying and Google is not my friend. I think I have had bad news too often to feel optimistic.

Furbabymum15 · 01/08/2022 13:59

Hey everyone,
So it all seems positive news and I thought I would return to share mine.
Some of you may remember my early scan at 6 wks and 7 wks were not where they wanted to be and I was told to expect another miscarriage. Well today I had to go for another scan to verify things...... There's only a baby with a strong heartbeat measuring 2 wks behind ❤️❤️❤️

MooBugz · 01/08/2022 14:33

@Skylark1990 so good to have you back and wishing you ever but of positive baby dust your way! Nice to have my wing man back haha.

Everyone else big congrats and well done on the good feels we've been getting.
I've been very nauseous last couple days and can't seem to want to eat much and when I do it feels like it's coming back out shortly after 🤢

Looking forward to the scan on Wednesday not long to go. I may have gone ahead of myself and bought an announcement message board from Amazon..

@furbabymum15 Well this is good news to hear! You never know at this early stage do you. I was measuring 3 days behind when about 7 weeks and then by 11 weeks I was measuring a whole week ahead! Will they give you another scan next week to see how things are progressing?

Hi @littlegoth. 👋 I think we were on the Pregnant after loss and dreaming of rainbows thread together? Will the clinic scan you again next week? As I was saying to @furbabymum15 things are so changeable at this early stage aren't they? And at least you've been reassured that everything looks good and in the right place, and you know you were in this exact position before when pregnant with your DC.

STom2 · 01/08/2022 14:50

@RedElleJ Congrats on the scan! Have they given any explanation for your off and on bleeding yet?

Rubes1234 · 01/08/2022 15:05

Hey everyone!

wow big news here today!! @Skylark1990 I’m so so happy for you. Sending you all the sticky baby dust in the world!

@RedElleJ congratulations on your scan!!

@Furbabymum15 congratulations too. Fingers crossed for you!!!

so much good news I’m loving the positivity!!

Im in a bit of slump today, scan tomorrow should be 11+5 have the horrible feeling of dread but hoping for great news. I hate this after loss the pre scan anxiety is just horrible. My sickness the last two days has somewhat subsided but still having the first thing in the morning sick. Tired through the day and metallic mouth taste and soreish boobs. I think I’m just trying to prepare for the worst in a sense tracking symptoms. So strange!

Hi and a very warm welcome to all the newcomers as well! I hope you will enjoy all of our erratic thoughts and find comfort here too! Xx

madeinthe80z · 01/08/2022 17:54

@Skylark1990 I am so so pleased to have you back here 🙂 xx

Sorry, I am on the app so have to remember names to tag and hopefully you will all empathise with the brain fog!

Rubes1234 · 01/08/2022 18:09

Ooooh good luck to you tommorow as well @madeinthe80z fully feel you with the tossing and turning! I’m thinking nice shower, face mask and then fall into bed. Falling asleep is easy for me it’s staying asleep at the min. 😂 I’m sure we will see every hour on the clock tonight!

what time is your appointment?

Good luck for Wednesday @MooBugz xx

MooBugz · 01/08/2022 18:55

@Rubes1234 it's 2pm, how about you?

Rubes1234 · 01/08/2022 19:21

@MooBugz oooh lovely enjoy the wedding. Deffo a good way to pass the time for the scan!

@madeinthe80z mine is 2:45pm 😩 nearly date and time twins. I’m thinking lay in in the morning and then stress from there. Glad I booked the full day off work don’t think I could handle it being in.

OceanbreezeSun · 01/08/2022 20:01

Ohhh I’m so happy for you @Skylark1990 I’ve thought about you from time to time on here, wondering how you are. A gentle congratulations❤️

Well in the last couple of weeks, dd has starting sleeping through the night! I’m pretty sure my milk has dried up as I can’t hear her drinking any, I also asked her if there was any milk and she said ‘no mummy, there’s none left, I’m not sad though’ 🤣
She just uses my boobs like a dummy to help her sleep, so she appears to be self weaning, which is what I was hoping would happen.

Good luck and wishing you all the best @MooBugz @madeinthe80z @Rubes1234 and to everyone else with scans coming up❤️

Hagster · 01/08/2022 20:47

Ahhh it's so lovely to see a few people back here, I thought I'd get back too. I'm so sorry for going awol for a while, haven't had the easiest few weeks with some bleeding and a real lack of symptoms and then I just felt like I'd left it too long to jump back on but since others are I will too. Last week I had a private scan and all is as it should be which was temporarily reassuring. 12 week scan on the 15th is the next milestone.

Really lovely to read all the positive news lately, congratulations ladies ❤️

Ally256 · 01/08/2022 20:48

@Hagster thats when my 12 week scan is too!

RedElleJ · 02/08/2022 06:58

So good to hear everyone’s good news - long may it continue 💕

Still no explanation for the bleeding @STom2 - I don’t want to jinx it but I’ve not had any since Thursday and that’s quite a long spell for me at the moment so I’m hoping…I’m hoping it’s coming to an end 🤞🏻

Good luck to those who have scans/appointments today x

STom2 · 02/08/2022 07:16

@RedElleJ Hopefully that's the end of the bleeding now in that case!

@Hagster good to hear from you and glad you had a positive scan last week!

Best of luck to those with scans this afternoon. Will be thinking of you!

My 12 week scan isn't until the 9th. I will be 13+3 then so a bit late but had to push it back a few days as have to travel abroad for a wedding this weekend. One thing I am enjoying more this time around though is that appointments are face to face. My DS was a lockdown baby so I was about 24 weeks before I met my midwife in person then. I've got the same midwife this time around too which is good.

Definitely feel ready for the nausea to do one now. It's improving during the day but last couple of mornings I've got sick shortly after waking. Always only planned on having two DCs so fingers crossed this is the last time I've to do the first trimester horror!

Skylark1990 · 02/08/2022 07:19

Good luck @Rubes1234 and @madeinthe80z 80s for today!! 💗💗💗 Hope you managed to get some sleep. And good luck @MooBugz for Wednesday!

Thank you so much all for your lovely warm welcomes back... Let's hope I can stay this time 😬🤞 you're all a Lovely bunch x

@OceanbreezeSun that's great she's self weaning - the dream! Well done for going so long 💗 I'm so nervous now after the last MC so I've decided to drop to just one bedtime feed for the next few weeks then see. So no feed this morning. It was actually ok, she cried for about a minute but I cuddled her and had some oatmilk at the ready and she actually seemed fine very quickly, so I think it was the right choice to drop that feed rather than bedtime. Bedtime would have been a shit show 😅 it's sad tho, I cried a little bit while cuddling her and giving her the oat milk 😞 just sad it's coming to an end... She's nearly 2 though so we have had a really good stint and lucky to be where we are. She's very cute when she asks for it now, she only really started saying "milkies" a few weeks ago. So I hope I can continue the one feed for a while and the progesterone mitigates any negative affects! X

MooBugz · 02/08/2022 07:55

@RedElleJ that's great the bleeding has stopped and here's hoping it stays that way for you 🤞🏼

Good luck to all the scan ladies today looking forward to hearing the news later today!

I was having crazy dreams last night and also dreamt my scan was out back a week and I was booking another private scan in its place - all in my dream thankfully! Weird how the mind works..

Hope everyone had a good day today.

@Skylark1990 again so so good to have you back with us 😘

@Skylark1990 so happy to have you back! Sending all the baby dust and positive vibes!

@Furbabymum15 that’s such great news! Congratulations! Everything crossed for you!

congrats on all the great scan news and good luck for all the appointments today!

Skylark1990 · 02/08/2022 14:27

Thank you @MooBugz and @Lmcc88 😘😘😘
Hope you're all doing well. I'm finding the progesterone pessaries seem to be making me very hungry, hotter than usual and also have a funny tummy... Hoping my body adjusts to them soon with less side effects!

Preseli · 02/08/2022 14:57

Hi Everyone, Hopefully it's aright if I join (and stop just lurking finally 😊!)

I'm currently 10w4 (EDD 24th Feb) with my 3rd pregnancy, but this will hopefully be my first child if I make it that far.

I had 2 losses last year, the first at 8 weeks (MMC) and the second at 23w5 which was still technically called a miscarriage although I say it was a stillbirth, and then had a secondary post partum haemorrhage 2 months later due to some of the placenta being retained. So 2021 was officially my most horrendous year to date😅

Currently everything seems to be going well apart from I seem to be borderline anaemic and so am waiting back for result to say what I may be deficient in so that that can be sorted now before it becomes a problem.

I've had 2 scans so far (at 8 and 10 weeks) that have shown everything is perfect so far but I know that I still have a loooong way to go before I feel safe (not sure I'll be confident until I have a baby in my arms, and even then I think I might struggle to believe it's real)

I've been so happy to hear that everything seems to be going well for everyone at the moment, and hopefully next year we will all be holding our rainbows!

STom2 · 02/08/2022 15:28

@preseli Gentle congratulations on your pregnancy and great that everything is going well so far. I'm truly sorry to hear you had such a late loss. Like you, I absolutely feel the "miscarriage" terminology just doesn't seem enough here. Glad you've taken the leap from reading this thread to posting. Please feel free to rant on here any time you need. This group is a great bunch of cheerleaders when you need a pick me up, or will simply listen if you just want to be heard. x

Rubes1234 · 02/08/2022 18:52

Hey everyone just back from scan, so happy so say everything was great and little bean was very active and jumping and kicking around a lot. So much so the scanner lady could hardly get a good measurement. Measurements were coming up in between 11+6 and 12+4 so still bang on.

Im being classed as “high” risk due to family history of pre-eclampsia and high blood pressure, weight and the bleeding I had in my d&e surgery in the last pregnancy. So not looking forward to this but they did say this means more scans which may reassure me a little.

Somewhat feel relieved but also a new set of worries now we are into the unknown bit of pregnancy so far 😂 Will it ever stop!

Hope everyone is well! Xx
