Nah I haven't joined that other thread yet @Skylark1990 . Had a peak at who you mean and it's just we've got similar usernames! I've got a 3 year old!

Struggling with tiredness a bit this morning. Did more tests and lines are getting stronger (the pics are two days apart)

Due Feb/Mar after MC 🌈 🙈
Skylark1990 · 28/06/2022 09:59

One more from me. So I did some yoga yesterday as I love it and really needed a stretch after lying in bed for days with covid. Only did about 5 mins and avoided twists or anything intense. Then promptly got so paranoid I'd hurt the embryo and anxious at any twinge I felt after it in my abdomen. It's just constant worry isn't it!!

What are others doing exercise wise?

Due to covid and just generally very busy life I've not managed much since being pregnant but I do find yoga and swimming so good for my mood and body. But I'm nervous too, don't want to over do it. It's annoying because with DD I went through all this and settled on what was ok, what to avoid and had a really lovely active chilled out perfect pregnancy really, and I thought having a second child would be even more relaxed but ofc after the MCs it's not. Much LESS relaxed in fact. 🙄
I'm going to chat to a midwife today as she's offered to call me even though my booking in appt isn't for a couple weeks. She was v nice. I think it'll help to get some reassurance about daily activities! X

Skylark1990 · 28/06/2022 10:02

Oh noo @BEL88 do you have covid too? Didn't realise that! Or are those pregnancy tests?? If so yay, dark line! ❤️ But if covid... Not yay 👎👎 wishing you well.

Ah ok yes that makes sense if it's a similar name 😉

madeinthe80z · 28/06/2022 10:42

@MooBugz if it makes you feel any more hopeful, both my husband and daughter had it in April. I looked after my daughter solidly for 4 days, whilst she coughed and sneezed in my face and I didn't get it!!

BEL88 · 28/06/2022 10:50

@Skylark1990 naaaah not covid 🤣 I had it in April so hoping I'm immune to it for another few weeks 🤞

seven201 · 28/06/2022 10:56

I had my scan this morning. Not great news. No heartbeat and measuring at 6+0 instead of 6+3. She said normally they wouldn’t be that worried but because it’s ivf they know exactly when it went in so should be measuring bang on. Got to go back next Tuesday to find out either way. She said we’re not out, but she wasn’t being too hopeful either. So in limbo land.

seven201 · 28/06/2022 10:57

Sorry to hear about those with covid. It seems unavoidable at the moment!

OceanbreezeSun · 28/06/2022 11:17

Morning @Skylark1990
hope you are feeling better today and abit more rested.

Dd tends to just comfort suck mostly, if I’m honest - there’s still milk there but she doesn’t really bf for long. My nips are very sore at the moment, the initial latch 😵‍💫 but not too bad after a while. I’m going to wait till we move house and are settled before I try and change any routine.

Oh no, constipation is not nice is it. I haven’t had it really with this pregnancy, but do get quite ermm, gassy. Dd seems more herself today! She had 3 poos last night🤣

I don’t know if this symptom is linked to pregnancy, but I can’t stop blowing my nose. It’s constantly feels full (sorry tmi) It’s more annoying then anything!

@MooBugz I’m sorry to hear your dh has covid and you think dc had it.
I know from your past messages that this is a horrible trigger for you, so I hope you evade it. Not much anyone can say to make you feel better but we are all here if you need to talk❤️

OceanbreezeSun · 28/06/2022 11:24

@Skylark1990 I hadn’t planned on tandem feeding, no! I have great admiration for women that do, but I think I would find it too much.

OceanbreezeSun · 28/06/2022 11:30

I’m so sorry to hear you are in limbo with what you were told@seven201 I really hope the outcome is a good one for you❤️ X

Tryingat47 · 28/06/2022 13:56

@MooBugz my mom said she didn’t have morning sickness but was sleepy as well maybe I am luck and won’t throw up too much

MooBugz · 28/06/2022 14:33

Hi all, thank you for all your kind messages re covid anxiety I appreciate them all. I do feel pretty rotten today but it's down to nausea which has been really bad since yday. Have also been experiencing headaches since yday and that's how my covid started but I feel ready for it when it comes and trusting my body to fight hard this time esp as my pregnancy symptoms all seem to be much stronger than last time I.e nausea and sore boobs.

@seven201 sorry your scan didn't go as well as expected but as you say not out yet just take it as it comes cross that bridge if and when it comes. Here for you.

@CNizzle I'm a little late with this but I am truly sorry for your news. I had a MMC with my first pregnancy so I understand you will have a million things running through your head. I ended up having an ERPC with mine (after it failed to miscarry completely). I found the procedure straightforward and needed little recovery time after (perhaps this might be as I'd miscarried naturally a few weeks prior). But if you decide to go that route and want some information I'm happy to chat about it.

@seven201 I'm sorry to hear that your scan didn't go as expected. As others have said, don't lose hope yet. Appreciate that dates are pretty accurate with IVF, but 3 days seems so little.

I'm another one that potentially has Covid. Hit me today like a tonne of bricks. Coupled with the throwing up, you can say I'm feeling pretty spectacular...Took an antigen test this morning and it was negative, so hoping its a regular cold. I know our immune systems are completely down anyway when pregnant so it would make sense that even a normal cold would feel 100 times worse at the moment. Waiting for DH to get home from work so I can go to bed. There's been far too much Peppa Pig parenting in my house this afternoon. Feel so guilty but equally know if I don't attempt to rest then I'm going to be even worse and will be useless.

MooBugz · 28/06/2022 16:10

@STom2 Peppa pig parenting bs SpongeBob parenting in my house don't feel guilty. This is how boss mums are made 😆

Skylark1990 · 28/06/2022 16:17

@seven201 really sorry to hear the scan wasn't conclusive for you, hang in there and I hope next week we see a strong heartbeat. I imagine this must be really sad and scary for you. We are all here for you. Sending love and hope and positivity your way.

@STom2 do not feel guilty about Peppa pig! Absolutely necessary in times like this. I recommend the second baby book by Sarah ockwell Smith she talks about how during pregnancy things like TV, takeaways and ready meals are essential to keep life with a toddler going! 😂 We have also had to use the TV a bit more than usual since all coming down with covid. Really hope you don't have it!

I spoke to a midwife today and she said I need to learn to trust my body again, after I worried at her about doing yoga or dancing in the kitchen with DD and would it cause MC? I think she's right. After I'm recovered from covid I'm going to start going swimming again and long walks if I can find the time. I can feel the beginnings of nausea too, only flutters at this stage, enough to make me wonder if it's actually there but I think so... Also so hungry ATM!

STom2 · 28/06/2022 16:26

@Skylark1990 I did mean to say that I did yoga throughout my pregnancy with DS. Mainly in first and third trimester. In first trimester the teacher advised me there was zero issue with any of the yoga moves (although a couple made my nausea worse). In third trimester she simply adapted some moves for me to "make room for baby". Ie I don't think he'd have been too happy to suddenly have less space because Mammy was doing an upward cobra.

Gamergirl84 · 28/06/2022 16:56

@Skylark1990 also so hungry 😆 But also bouts of nauesa which means I don't eat for ages then I eat everything in the fridge.

Chantal90 · 28/06/2022 17:01

Hi Ladies - do you mind if one more joins?
I'm just over 7 weeks and had an ectopic pregnancy last year which ruptured at 6 weeks 6 days so it's been a bit of a stress while we had the pregnancy placed (luckily this one has managed to make it to the right place...)

I'm trying to be super chilled, but I'm quite an anxious person so it feels like it's been a bit of a swing between excitement and fear that this one will just go wrong too.
I haven't really told anyone yet apart from my husband and my mum, both are trying to be supportive but I think neither quite get why I keep having to say 'if this one works out' or 'if everything goes okay' before I say anything about the baby.

On the exercise front, I've also been feeling a bit worried about what I should and shouldn't be doing so if anyone has any recommendations of things that got them off the sofa I'd appreciate it!

seven201 · 28/06/2022 17:38

Thank you ladies. It just feels so unfair. It's taken us 4 1/2 years, two surgeries, endless tests, a humongous amount of money, 6 rounds of ivf and 3 miscarriages to get here. Yet some women just look at a penis and have a healthy baby 9 months later. Aghhhh. I'm feeling angry at the world at the moment. It's going to be such a long week.

seven201 · 28/06/2022 17:39

Welcome @Chantal90 sorry to hear about your ruptured tube last time; great to hear this one is in the right place.

Chantal90 · 28/06/2022 18:13

Thank you @seven201, nothing like some trauma to start this journey off.

I’m sorry you’re having such a tough week. Definitely feel all those feelings, even/especially the angry upset ones! Try to treat yourself to something nice this week so there’s something to take your mind off it all.
I don’t know much about it but I’ve seen people say on here the measurements the sonographer makes can easily be off by a few days especially near the beginning. Definitely not out yet!
From what you’ve said it sounds like you’re super strong with everything you’ve been through. Sending you all the positive thoughts

RedElleJ · 28/06/2022 20:01

Congrats on the 2-3 @Maya12345 . I hope you manage to avoid COVID…it really is making the rounds again!

@Skylark1990 - In terms of exercise, you are safe to continue with what you have been doing pre-pregnancy unless there is a high risk of injury or contact e.g., skiing or contact sports. As long as you are able to talk when you exercise, you are working at the right intensity. A couple of things change into the 2nd and 3rd trimester but yoga and swimming are absolutely fine. I’m qualified in pre and post-natal exercise; however, that doesn’t stop me being terrified to exercise after our MC. So, other than walk my dogs everyday I haven’t actually done anything.

I am sorry it wasn’t good news at the scan today @seven201 . However, I would agree that 3 days seems like such a small amount of time to say there is a definite cause for concern…even with IVF! Sending you lots of love and positivity x I really hope it’s good news at your next scan. I totally understand your frustration and anger too - it just seems so cruel.

Welcome @Chantal90 - we are an anxious but have been pulling ourselves through with each others support. Hopefully, we can do the same for you :) x

Not much of an update from me this evening ladies - was a bit teary and emotional driving to work today but it was anxiety and worry related. I just wanted to say thank you for all your kind words and support so far. I really hope we all get the happy endings we deserve x

JoKB · 28/06/2022 20:35

Hi everyone,

Firstly, congrats everyone! I’ve been reading for the last week or so after getting a BFP (third pregnancy this year after 2 years of trying) 2 weeks ago. They’ve been the longest 2 weeks ever and I’m still only 5+4days 🤯
I had been feeling really nauseous but I don’t feel bad at all today and it’s really freaking me out - I had a MMC at 7/8 weeks in Jan and I’m so so anxious about it happening again as I really don’t know how I’d cope.
has anyone else noticed symptoms coming and going??

STom2 · 28/06/2022 20:47

@JJoKB My symptoms gave fluctuated for the last week. I found that the better I slept and the more I ate, the less likely the nausea would kick in. I'm only 7wks today. But I definitely remember my symptoms absolutely fluctuated when pregnant with my DS and that was a totally straight forward and healthy pregnancy. I was constantly boob prodding/knicker checking. Willing the nausea to stop/praying for it to come back! It's 100% normal in first trimester.

Skylark1990 · 28/06/2022 20:54

@JoKB hello and welcome, really sorry to hear about your mmc 💐 I hope this will be your 🌈 baby. Yes I have definitely felt symptoms coming and going. It's definitely something that happens so try not to worry... Such early days still and really common to get on/ off nausea or cramping or tiredness etc. I've been all over the show, sometimes feel entirely normal! Which also freaks me out 😅 so I understand. I'm 6+1.

Welcome to you too @Chantal90 I am so sorry to hear about ectopic that must have been really traumatic. So natural to constantly think "if the pregnancy continues" etc I think we are all in that boat too. I hope we all start to feel more secure and excited and less worried as the weeks go by!

@RedElleJ thank you so much for the info and reassuring words re exercise. I do also know much of this objectively but like you I worry since the MCs even though I know I shouldn't. I'm going to try to be a bit more relaxed about movement once I'm better from covid 🤞❤️
