Yes, we’re both super keen to find out the gender! And I’d love a girl! Of course wouldn’t mind either but always pictured myself with a girl first ☺️

I've spent the afternoon going through my wardrobe vac packing everything that doesnt fit...which apparently is most of my wardrobe!

In a panic now as to what I'm meant to wear for when we're away next weekend...2 meals out and going to see the killers. Def not ready for maternity wear but dont want to waste money either. I know i should be grateful but body confidence is in the bin.

Ahhh I feel you @Jampot36 . I naively expected all my clothes to still fit until about 20 weeks along.. and even then I thought it would just be my jeans that didn’t fit.. hadn’t considered that NONE of my nice dresses would fit me and only the dead elasticated ones. I’m 14 weeks now but haven’t been able to fit into my jeans since about week 6. 😶 I also fainted at 6 weeks, fell and broke my ankle and just laid around for weeks eating for fun and putting on weight, which I think is the main culprit rather than the actual pregnancy. But I’ve put on weight in areas I never expected like my arms, so literally nothing fits.
I did the same as you and went through all my clothes this bank holiday and now have about 3 items in my wardrobe and the rest is in the loft. I have an engagement party next weekend and staying for the weekend, no idea what I’m going to wear as I’ve basically been living in loungewear for weeks…. 🙃

@MrsWindrush I have maternity clothes from last time but some of them are too big (must have lost weight 🤔) so I bought some maternity jeans which I've been wearing for a few weeks and I'm now 14+2, they're so comfy. If you feel you need some why not! Otherwise I'm living in leggings as none of my other jeans are comfortable ...

I got some great leggins from Primark for £4. They're not maternity but go up quite high at this stage.

@JamPot36 I'm still getting stretching pains and occasional sharp pains at 14+2 and I've definitely grown!

Not sure where this has come from! We still have people to tell and until then I'm still trying to cover it but it's not easy now!!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted but I hope you’re all doing as well as can be. It’s a good feeling to be coming into the 2nd trimester isn’t it!
I turned 30 this weekend and we’d also had our 12 week scan at the beginning of the week so it’s been a lovely few days (minus the sickness haha).
I’m 13 weeks today and due 11th Dec.

@GracePalmer33 thank you I'm so glad its not just me! I've even had to buy new knickers because my backside has expanded so much! I'm looking forward to trimester 2 more energy so i can go gym, not to lose weight i just know I'll feel better.

I got a couple nice bits at sainsburys which i think I'll be living in - def worth checking online for your party.

Hi girls! Glad to hear you’re all doing so well and the scans are lovely! One week til mine and it’s very encouraging to see yours in the meantime.

I too went through my wardrobe this bh and have chucked out FOUR bin liners of clothes and shoes! Hurrah!!

And I’ve made a two a4 page list of diy jobs to do in the house, and a 6 month deadline! DH is cracking on with it at the moment.

No sickness for me, but I am so lightheaded and my legs feel like jelly! I can just about manage to cook dinner and then I’m gasping for breath again.

Anyway, as this is my first baby, I have no idea what to expect. Do you think I’ll need maternity wear / maternity swimwear for summer holidays at 21 weeks? Going to Mallorca and it’s already 33C so I’m a bit worried about the high temps!

DH is away with work (was an optional trip so I'm rather miffed!) for 2 nights so I'm solo parenting 2 toddlers and 2 dogs! 🤦‍♀️ I think it's gonna be a movie day on the coach tomorrow 😂
Thankfully been feeling a little better the past few days, so hoping I'll make it through in one piece!

Glad it’s not just me with nothing that fits anymore! I had to put on 4 dresses before I found one that fit the other day! It’s not my stomach tho, it’s my boobs! They seem to have doubled in size 😂😂

Hey! I have a really sore boil which I think might have been an ingrown hair, it's hard, huge and horrible. Is it safe to use magnesium sulphate paste or should I consult the doctor? I'm worried it gets infected and not sure I can take antibiotics?

@hopefulsunshine11 I'd talk to your GP, they'll be best equipped to tell you the best course of treatment

@hopefullsunshine11 definitely talk to GP but my sister in law recently had a boil or something similar on her leg and she needed antibiotics whilst pregnant and she was able to have them so I'd ask a GP but don't panic as there will be something you can have to treat it. I had antibiotics (no tablet, ear drops) for an ear infection when I was about 8 weeks with my daughter and all was okay. They just had to find one suitable 🙂

@hopefulsunshine11, I have an I grown hair in my armpit that has evolved into some sort of cyst. It's not getting bigger nor has it broken so the doctor recommended just leaving it unless something happens. I'm glad I had it checked though.

Hope everyone had a good long weekend. I'm exhausted now. Seriously bricking it for the scan tomorrow but hoping for the best. Also why are these things so difficult? Now one of my biggest worries is finding change for the car park. I never have change!
