Starting a new thread due to last one being full. Such a valuable place to share our journey! Not going to tag anyone in case they don't want to be tagged.

Marching towards or in the beginning of the second trimester!

@AG96 I'm exactly the same! I just have no motivation at all, I still have the pregnancy tiredness but I think I will have that all the way though as I had cancer 2 years ago so this is just added pressure on my body while it's still in recovery.

My mum was after a second job so we have managed come to an agreement where she cleans for me weekly and I pay her so the housework is kept up with and she doesn't need to get the second job now.

I'm also with you on the viability aspect I'm so much more anxious this time round x

AG96 · 02/07/2022 12:04

@tasha4eva10 Oh wow, your body will definitely be extra tired right now. It's good your mum is able to help you, seems like a nice win win situation that she is cleaning for you.

I'm currently laid on the sofa eating biscuits watching Kardashians while DP is running around disassembling furniture and doing tip runs and cleaning 😂

We were invited to a baby disco today for a friend's wee ones birthday. Half an hour into us being there, husband turns to me and says "I don't think I can be the kind of parent who would do this often, this is torture" 😂 good to know he's thinking ahead...

Mommabear20 · 02/07/2022 15:13

@AG96 my motivation is currently suffering with bipolar! It appears and goes very quickly 😂 so when it hits, it's a mad rush around to get as much done before it goes again 😂 I've found keeping a list of EVERYTHING I need to do, pinned to the fridge means I can crack straight on with something productive as soon as my motivation arrives!

Sdoubleyou · 02/07/2022 16:42

I'm also in the early wake up club unfortunately. It's doubly difficult because I'm a natural night owl and just can't seem to go to bed early. I may have to incorporate more naps into my schedule.

@MrsCrumbtious, I'm also having a boy but I have two brothers and have always been more of a tomboy. We don't yet know the personality of our little ones though. Boys can also be quiet and shy, although I'm hoping to have a little wild one 💙

The thread is almost full, it goes so quickly! I made a new one so we can post it here so we don't lose anyone on the way. Here you go:

Tofu35 · 03/07/2022 10:01

Happy Sunday everyone! Has anyone got any nice plans for today?

Bluebonnet3 · 03/07/2022 10:12

Happy Sunday! I've got a pregnancy yoga class in a bit. I went the first time last week, and it was good to meet other pregnant ladies at different stages. It's held outside in a nearby park, and today's looking like a nice day. It's less yoga and more gentle stretching and movement and friendly chatting. 🙂

Tofu35 · 03/07/2022 10:57

Oh that's really interesting @Bluebonnet3 , I always thought that was for third trimester (no idea why though, pregnancy isn't just the last 3 months!). Gentle stretching and outdoor air sounds perfect 🥰

Think I'm off to a garden centre today, we have a veg planter out the back that looks a bit abandoned (and the cafe is always full of nice cakes!).

baby2in2022 · 03/07/2022 20:39

@MrsCrumbtious I have a little boy and he's just amazing. Boys are so loving he loves giving kisses and cuddles. He's 14 months so not sure on the wild side of things but so far he's the most chilled boy. Loves throwing his ball around and exploring. My sister has one of each and her boy was very chilled as well compared to her girl xx

Tofu35 · 04/07/2022 08:50

I think the migration to the new thread has started already, so let's try and fill this so it can lock!

Yesterday at the garden centre we bought strawberry and raspberry plants, we hope that if they establish well this year, it can be an activity we do with our wee one in the future.

AG96 · 04/07/2022 09:10

@Tofu35 that is something I'm so excited to do is seeing little one playing in the garden. DP was saying how we need to get football goal for the garden. Can't wait to get kicking a football round and paddling pools in the summer! I have so many fond memories of playing in the garden. Fruit growing and picking will be so fun for you, great memories to make

Tofu35 · 04/07/2022 09:24

@AG96 oh yes our gardens will look very different next summer! Maybe not as different as our Christmas this year will be though 😂

AG96 · 04/07/2022 09:48

@Tofu35 It will be the first Christmas that someone's Christmas dinner will come from my boobs 😂

Hahaha! @AG96 merry boobmas to all!

Meowcat89 · 05/07/2022 14:03

@AG96 I'm so very behind on posts but just wanted to say I'm in the same boat re skin. Although I'm a mess but still on immunos and oral steroids but being closely monitored by derm and obstetrics. It really does suck.

AG96 · 05/07/2022 14:15

@Meowcat89 😮 I've never met anyone else on immunos! They don't want me to take them again until after birth but my skin is in shreds. Has your skin gotten worse while pregnant?

OP posts:
Meowcat89 · 05/07/2022 14:39

I've been a mess for a very, very long time but coming off immunos makes everything a billion times worse so I'm basically a slave to them :( been taking them for over 10yrs as literally nothing helps me. Currently affecting my face, neck, chest and arms... But I have been worse so I guess I'd say no diff with pregnancy. We were all praying pregnancy would be the cure!

But if ever you want to chat I'm more than willing 🙂

lovesT · 26/07/2022 11:11

Hello! Haven't been on here for ages as have been on the Facebook group and WhatsApp group. Had my 20 week scan last week and all went well 😊 can't believe how quickly it's all going! Will be 22 weeks on Friday!

Hope you're all doing well??

LolaJ87 · 26/07/2022 11:17

I don't use Facebook but if there's a Whatsapp group I'd love to be added! Much easier to keep up with 😁

lovesT · 26/07/2022 12:49

@LolaJ87 there is a WhatsApp group! Very active haha. Do you want to pm me on here and I'll see if I can find how to send the link for it?

Hey all, there is a thread 4 for this group in case you want to join that chat too! I'd love to join the WhatsApp too :)

Dora2018 · 01/08/2022 20:32

I went for my 20 week scan today and was told baby looked to be forming perfectly and everything was good. She did mention I had a low lying placenta and would need a follow up scan at 32 Weeks. However I’ve just been on Mypregnancy notes and can see I’ve been give an appointment with Colette Sparey (fetal medicine unit) for next week I am now worried and was hoping someone may be able to put my mind at rest.

lovesT · 02/08/2022 09:44

@Dora2018 I also have a low lying placenta and a few of the other ladies but midwives seem confident it will have moved out the way by 32 weeks or at least in time for giving birth. Sorry I don't know about the fetal medicine, are you are to ring them and ask? I'm sure they would have told you if something didn't seem right?
