Baby January 2023!

Anyone else due January 2023?! Found out yesterday I'm pregnant with baby #2. If my dates are right, I'm 3+6, due 27th January! My daughters a Jan baby, but was due feb (she was 3 weeks early). May just must be a very fertile month for us! We fell pregnant last May too, but never met them😢.

@Miracle22 Congratulations, I'm a few days behind you. Try not focus on the lack of symptoms. My symptoms are few much inconsistent. Had a good few days but today feeling very rough.

@Kerryw93 how exciting. Hope everything goes well at your scan.

How's everyone feeling? Has anyone had any scans?

I feel nauseous all the time but haven't actually been sick and eating actually makes me feel a bit better. I'm so bloated and my body seems to be expanding very quickly all of a sudden. I just can't wait for a scan to understand a bit more and but my nerves at ease hopefully.

I could have written this, I'm exactly the same! How far along are you? My stomach is so bloated but I can't possible be showing at 6 weeks 🙈 I've just booked a scan for mid June when I'll be 8 weeks 😬

@ZoeG22 that's reassuring to know you feel the same... I am 7+3 and extremely nervous due to MC in Jan. I can't really be showing either I don't think but everything feels tighter on my waistline. And my bra's are getting tighter, which is unusual for me as I am not normally very full.

I asked for an earlier scan with the midwife but they say 12-14 weeks if only 1 MC. So I think I'm going to get a private one at around 8-9 weeks. I just want to know there's a heartbeat and we are on track. X

I'm exactly 9 weeks today and haven't had a scan yet. My 12 week is at the end of the month so hanging on in there. I had quite a bit of cramping yesterday but still got all classic symptoms this morning so trying not to overthink.

I'm 8 weeks Saturday. Having a private scan tomorrow as I'm really nervous this time round, no idea why. This is my second baby my boy is nearly 16 months.
My sickness has been really challenging this time, I also just had covid which didn't help.

How is everyone feeling?

I've had barley any symptoms other than fatigue and REALLY sore nipples. These come and go. No neasuea yet...

What symptoms is everyone's having now?

7 weeks 1 day today following IVF. I've had 2 ectopics previously and I'm a bag of nerves. I'm struggling with the waiting. Waiting to start IVF, waiting for the egg collection, the days to find out how many eggs were fertilised, the 2 week wait, and every single milestone (basically every day without bleeding) that follows.
I've been feeling nauseous and have had achey breasts up until this morning. Last night I had a bit of a scare with a dog running in front of my car and me bumping it, leaving me very upset (the dog was fine btw) but in my head the shock of this has ended the pregnancy.
Scan on Tuesday and I cannot relax until it's over with.

How did your scan go? Xx

I'm much the same as you, except it's my boobs rather than nipples. They just feel very tender and heavy. Other than that, I have no symptoms. Except actually, a lot of discharge. Does anybody have any recommendations for reusable panty liners?

I'm so sorry for your shock. I really hope you're okay. I can imagine it's been so much waiting already for you xx

My friend has just announced her pregnancy this week and she had and still no symptoms other than her nipples went darker. Everything is going well and she is now 16 weeks. Try not to worry too much about the symptoms.

I was sick today so I think my symptoms came back lol ,
Scan on Monday, absolutely pooping myself . . I'm so expecting bad news. 👎

Try not to worry.... although I share the nerves.
I've booked a scan this evening for tomorrow afternoon... I'm praying that we get good news this time and I'm showing all the symptoms but I'm still so nervous and really won't believe it till I see it!

How was your scan, @Pickle0901?

I had a scan yesterday, too, measuring at 9+2 weeks which measures up pretty well with where I thought I was. I have a genetic disorder, so I had to have an early scan to confirm how far I was, then I had the NIPT test done to confirm the sex which I'll find out in a week or so.

@TokenGinger that's amazing. Must be so re-assuring to know everything is on track 😃.

I had my first midwife appointment on Tuesday were they ran through everything and took some blood. If my dates are correct I'm currently 10+2. Today the anxiety has started to kick in. I don't have my scan until the 1st July but i have this fear something has gone wrong. I'm away on holiday next week so hopefully some time away will let me clear my head.

Just come out and it was such a huge relief to see that everything is looking good.
The heartbeat was looking nice and strong & we could see it beating and she pointed out the little features starting to come through. But a little gummy bear for now.... Dating at 8+2 and I'd calculated 8+5 so it's within a few days which is good... due date 21st Jan. X

Thank you, @Laurzz. It was such a relief to see them on screen. They couldn't find it at first and I thought I had miscarried, but then they realised I have an introverted uterus (which I tend remembered from DS) and it tips backwards so it was more difficult to get to.

1st July is much closer than I thought for your scan. It sounds so long away but I just twigged that we're halfway through June so it'll be here in no time ❤️

I'm due 27th January aswell.
2nd baby, not planned at all as DD is 10.5 months so 2 under 2 will be interesting

@lilroo87 congrats!! You'll certainly have your hands full but sure it will be amazing and how fab for them being so close together!!

@Pickle0901 thanks. Yes, the close age gap will be lovely. There's a similar age gap between my brother and me and we got on so well, it was nice to have someone to play with all the time

So happy everyone's scans went well !!! A massive weight lifted off your shoulder. Has anyone shared their news yet?
I have my scan tomorrow, I'll be roughly 8+5 I think. . So so so nervous, but optimistic too.
