Anyone else due January 2023?! Found out yesterday I'm pregnant with baby #2. If my dates are right, I'm 3+6, due 27th January! My daughters a Jan baby, but was due feb (she was 3 weeks early). May just must be a very fertile month for us! We fell pregnant last May too, but never met them😢.

@Pickle0901 first trimester is very hard ❤ hope you managed to enjoy your work night our

winsones · 27/05/2022 10:34

@Pickle0901 I know what you mean. I have a 6 year old but this is my fourth pregnancy and I am second-guessing every single thing. Not enjoyable at all and very anxious :(

Hi all, I'm due January 27 ☺️ how's everyone doing? I'm not feeling pregnant at all today 🙈

I'm due 14 Jan. I'm constantly feeling sick, so so tired, my boobs have swollen and my nipples feel like they're on fire! 😮I am however taking comfort in these symptoms and taking each day as it comes.

Yes it's tough alright. I'm trying to be positive but i think the thing I find most isolating is not being able to tell anyone what's going on. But I'm trying to stay positive!

Thank you... the problem I have, is that we only get together every 6 months and the last time I was doing the same because it was the Christmas party and just before my miscarriage, so it was like you couldn't write it. It's hard when they have no idea why I am turning down drinks etc... but hopefully one day I'll be able to tell them about it! 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

alvaryder · 27/05/2022 12:19

Hey, due 27th also @ZoeG22
Very few symptoms. My boobs aren't particularly raging, They're bigger and a touch more sensitive but I hear that's normal if you've had a baby. I'm 43 so have a very high probability of MC so I'm just coasting along trying not to get too mentally attached...

Other symptoms are tiredness - especially middle of day, mild cramps and twinges, and occasional nausea especially if eaten or am tired. But at 5+2 it's such early doors!

Fab ☺️ that's reassuring, I am getting similar symptoms just on and off, and I'm sure my symptoms were stronger when I got my BFP but that's probably mind games

Hi all!

I'm due Jan 25th with baby #2 (DD is 20 months old)

Just thought I would join to be nosy about other ladies' symptoms who are at the same stage!

I've got a private reassurance scan booked for 28 June. Counting down the days.

Welcome 🤗 this is my second too, my
Daughter is 26 months. How are you feeling so far?

ChagSameachDoreen · 29/05/2022 20:02

@ZoeG22 I'm feeling rough as boots right now! Evenings are the worst for me. I'm usually ok in the daytime if I eat enough and manage to have a nap while DD is napping.

I'm feeling impatient - just want the time to pass until my reassurance scan.

Also feeling massively grateful, as we'd been trying for #2 for ages.

How are you??

Kerryw93 · 29/05/2022 21:10

Hey ladies. How are you all doing? Just after some reassurance. Has anyone got twinges/discomfort on their lower right side of the abdomen? I hate these pains as this is what I had with my MC last month... I was 17 and 19 when I was pregnant with my other girls. That was over 10 years ago now. Hope everyone is okay!

Laurzz · 30/05/2022 07:27

Congratulations to everyone who has joined 👶.

I have been struggling the last few days with the nausea. My apatite is completely gone. Finding it very hard to hide the way i'm feeling around others especially at work. Nothing seems to be lifting it.

@Kerryw93 I've had some cramping and twinges. I'd say some of these came from the right side but it passes within minutes. Some days it is persistent and other days i feel nothing. It's hard not worry when you have been through a MC but if your not bleeding try not worry yourself too much.

Kerryw93 · 30/05/2022 07:50

Thankyou @Laurzz. I appreciate your reply. No bleeding and is not really intense pain like last month. Must think positive 😅

Pickle0901 · 30/05/2022 08:03

Hi everyone, silly question but have you all informed your doctors and did you make an appointment? I only ask because with my MC I contacted my doctor immediately and I was made to feel like I was being dramatic. I remember the receptionist saying what do you need an appointment for and I remember just being blank and saying I just thought that's what you were supposed to do...
I ended up just going up to EPU to have blood levels done and even they said have you got a problem and why are you here... so this time I've done nothing but a few of you have mentioned early scans and midwives etc and I wondered if this was private or via your GP?

@Kerryw93 I have obsessively looked up every symptom going due to MC too. I did have twinges like you described yesterday but they didn't last long. As you say, try to be positive...

Laurzz · 30/05/2022 08:18

@Pickle0901 That's out of order to treat someone like that especially when you are going through the unknown.

I contacted my GP about 2 weeks after my BFP and they passed me onto the midwife who booked me in for my first midwife appointment and my 12 week scan. For an early scan you can book one at a private clinic from 6/7 weeks. I wasn't offered an early scan but if you have experienced multiple losses you maybe offered one. I'm based in Scotland so may differ.

Kerryw93 · 30/05/2022 08:22

Morning @Pickle0901 , that's horrendous that professionals would treat you that way! Im sorry you was made to feel like rubbish from them. I rang my community MW for my booking appointment, that's on the 17th. As far as I know in my area you don't call the doctor, however 10 years ago It was the doctor you'd have to call and get an appointment through them x

Kerryw93 · 30/05/2022 08:22

Sorry you had a loss too @Pickle0901 , it's so hard having pregnancy after loss. X

H44123 · 30/05/2022 08:45

Morning everyone.

I haven’t really got any symptoms I don’t think which worries me a little. Occasionally a cramp which is quite strong and painful but it disappears after a minute. No spotting or feeling sick etc. I panicked and did a cheap test this morning to check I was still pregnant and it was a strong positive.

@Pickle0901 sorry they were like that with you. I rang my doctors too who just said I needed to self refer online to the maternity unit. I have booked in an early scan at 7 weeks which was only £40 private so wanted that for piece of mind. 1 week since referring myself I have received 2 letters. One for a blood test at a walk in centre when I will be 8 weeks and then a telephone appointment with a midwife when I will be 10 weeks. I was hoping to actually see someone face to face which was a big disappointing.

Hope you are all ok and have a nice day! Xx

Pickle0901 · 30/05/2022 12:16

Morning everyone, thanks for sharing feedback, it's made me feel like I wasn't going mad for feeling a bit confused, so I've just booked in a doctors appointment for next Monday morning. And I've done a self referral to the EPU online.

I hope you're all doing okay?

Nyxxie · 30/05/2022 15:40

@Pickle0901 I had a similar experience, it's my first pregnancy and from what I had read online I thought I was supposed to make a doctors appointment so I called up and told them I had found out I was pregnant and they said "and why do you think you need an appointment for that?" I was a bit taken aback to be honest! Since then I have self referred online and have had a call from a midwife who was really lovely ☺️

Pickle0901 · 30/05/2022 16:20

@Nyxxie ahhh, yes I think they are dealing with things every day that some of them lack the emotional intelligence to realise to us it is brand new and we are finding our feet.
Not to mention the hormones - I am finding myself being very matter of fact with people as my hormones are going mental and I'm probably hyper sensitive to everything. Hopefully this will calm and when I know all is okay and I can start telling people, it should take the edge off... glad you've done your self assessment too... I'm excited for us all and hope we are all on a positive path x

Kerryw93 · 02/06/2022 19:50

How is everyone doing today? 6weeks today and I've booked an early scan for the 20th!! So anxious yet exciting ! 🙃 hope everyone is well.

Miracle22 · 03/06/2022 07:16

Hi ladies,
Might I join in here?
First things first, congratulations to all of you. May all of us have a smooth and happy pregnancy.

I am 8+5 and due 6th of January as of now, but the exact date will be determined at my 12 week scan on 25th of June.
I don’t know, but I am really anxious all the time. Esp. cuz I have no symptoms whatsoever. No nausea or vomiting, no tender boobs. Absolutely NOTHING! This is my first pregnancy. Really praying to reach second trimester soooooon.

ZoeG22 · 04/06/2022 11:40

Welcome @Miracle22 ☺️ I also don't have many symptoms, except for tiredness!

Kerryw93 · 04/06/2022 20:27

@Miracle22 I feel the same I only have tender nipples.. I've read quite alot about it being normal ,
