Anyone else due January 2023?! Found out yesterday I'm pregnant with baby #2. If my dates are right, I'm 3+6, due 27th January! My daughters a Jan baby, but was due feb (she was 3 weeks early). May just must be a very fertile month for us! We fell pregnant last May too, but never met them😢.

How is everyone? Where is everyone at?

Just an update.. My symptoms had subsided which made me panic a bit but the sickness has made a return this morning. My other symptoms are sore breasts, cramping and tiredness. Today i'm exactly 7 weeks.

I could book an early scan but my partner is against it. He doesn't want to be told good news at an early scan and then be told something different at the 12 week scan. I'm going respect this and wait. I made it to 9 weeks in my last pregnancy so will be on edge until the 12 week scan.

Hope everyone is keeping well!

Hi everyone!
I'm not very good at keeping up to date with these forums so just sort of try and catch up where I can!
@Laurzz I'm feeling the same as you, I literally have only had sore boobs and today I woke up and they didn't feel so bad and I've been in a state all day. My nipples are still a bit sore but the whole boob isn't anymore 🤦‍♀️ I can't help but think the worse!

My midwife phoned me today and congratulated me and I just felt really hopeless! She's coming to my home next week for my first appointment so I'm going to speak to her about it all.

Is anyone else having very few intermittent symptoms that come and go? I have never wished for sore boobs before! 🤣

Mossy26 · 24/05/2022 22:05

Congratulations to you all. I'll be 5 wks on Friday but feel terrible ......baby #2. Have got no energy and constant cramping pain. Is this because I'm chasing after a 2.5 Yr old??

TokenGinger · 24/05/2022 22:46

Hi ladies, can I join you? I had a positive test last week and think I am due on 16th Jan if my dates are right.

This'll be DC2 for me.

I had no symptoms in my last pregnancy, other than tiredness and heavy boobs for the first trimester which is exactly what I'm experiencing now. No other symptoms, so I'm not sure if that means there's another little boy brewing in there or if this is just my body's (small) reaction to pregnancy.

My symptoms (though I didn't have many) came and went with DC1. I freaked out so much and went for private scans but he was fine every time. I was just one of the "lucky" ones who didn't suffer with many symptoms and got off very lightly. I was repaid with a terrible sleeper who didn't sleep through until 2.5 years Grin

H44123 · 25/05/2022 07:22

Morning everyone. So I think I am 4 weeks and 1 day according to Ovia. Feel absolutely fine, no sickness or anything. Every so often like yesterday again get some period type pains which then disappear.

I have booked in for an early scan in a few weeks when I think I will be 7 weeks 4 days. I’m a bit of a worrier, a close friends has had a few early losses too so I want to get a scan.

Trying to stay positive though and get to 12 weeks to relax a little. Haven’t told anyone yet but I’m finding it really hard especially my family!

Babycakes1989 · 25/05/2022 10:25

It’s a little reassuring to hear people say their symptoms come and go…. Mine definately do and I’m 6 weeks today. Last week was so different to this week. Last week was not Being able to sleep and bad heartburn and being off food. This week is sleeping too much, no heartburn and eating everything in sight 😳 had 2 chemicals before this pregnancy so early scan booked for 7.5 weeks - I wish you all the best ladies. The first trimester worry’s ain’t for the faint hearted 😞 xx

Pickle0901 · 25/05/2022 12:45

Did a test last night, super strong line but only 5 weeks. Petrified and excited, as I had a bad miscarriage on New Year's Day, so I'm keeping it quiet but had to speak to someone, so thank goodness for mumsnet - congrats all... I think my due date is 24th Jan.... congrats to you all. My first too and my 12 week mark is the last pregnancy due date so all feeling emotional at the moment but happy!

Kerryw93 · 25/05/2022 19:32

Hey ladies, congratulations to you all!!! I found out 8dpo (now 14dpo) that I am expecting my 3rd baby. I had a cgemical last month (no period inbetween) . I am ABSOLUTELY PETRIFIED! Has anyone else got pregnant straight after CP? I should be due 26th ISH of January! Xx

Poppy9991 · 25/05/2022 23:48

Hi everyone! It seems we’re all experiencing the on-off symptoms! That’s reassuring! When you say you have morning sickness of feel nauseous, do you guys actually vomit or just feel constantly nauseous (but no 🤮) - sorry if TMI. For now (5w5d) I feel quite nauseous at times but haven’t actually been properly sick.

Laurzz · 26/05/2022 06:44

@Pickle0901 sorry hear about your loss. Congratulations 🌈. Wishing you all the luck for this one.

@Kerryw93 Congratulations, wow positive at 8dpo is amazing. I was 12 dpo before I got my positive. Sorry to hear about your chemical. Similar to you. I'm pregnant straight after misscarriage with no period in-between. I'm very much on edge but prepared for whatever comes my way.

@Poppy9991 I had the nausea from around 6 weeks and started to throw up around 7+2 I'm only sick twice a day but nausea all day. I spoke to my GP about the constant nausea and she prescribed me Cyclizine. It's been a life savour but on bad days It doesn't work. Nothing worse than feeling sick but not actually being sick.

Pickle0901 · 26/05/2022 07:27

@Laurzz thank you... and sorry to hear about your loss too. Its nerve wrecking isn't it... I am so worried about the lack in symptoms but I guess we all just have to keep positive and take each moment at a time. So great to have a group of people going through the same emotions at the same time. Thanks again and wishing you all the luck!! ❤️

Kerryw93 · 26/05/2022 07:47

@Laurzz congratulations!! How are you feeling? I'm so scares. Every twinge I think ill miscarry 😰 . I do have 2 beautiful daughters ages 10 and 8 though so I count my blessings gs to have been able to have them both ❤️ .

Sxd515 · 26/05/2022 07:58

Hi ladies

I hope you're all well. Do you mind if I join this thread? I am pregnant with our first. We had IVF and I think all being well I'll be due around 23 January.

I definitely feel like symptoms come and go and when they go it definitely makes me worried. We have a 7-week scan booked with our clinic and I feel like the next couple of weeks can't go fast enough!

Laurzz · 26/05/2022 08:11

@Pickle0901 thank you. I always remind myself everyone is different. Some women have no symptoms and sail through pregnancy. You maybe one of those lucky ones. Because we have been through a loss we are very hard on ourselves and don't enjoy the first trimester. Be kind to yourself ❤. Focus on the end goal. Easier said thank done though...

@Kerryw93 thank you. I'm a mixed bag of emotions but a great believer in "what's for you wont go by you". I'm trying to flip my mindset to a positive one. You've done it twice before you can do it again 💪.

Poppy9991 · 26/05/2022 09:31

@Laurzz thanks for the info! good to know. Sorry for you loss by the way, I too had 2 MC in the past year. So hoping this time it will be a sticky one (and my first hopefully). I admire your positive energy! When I’m busy I’m ok but the minute I am not, I keep thinking about the worse! Going on holiday this evening, hopefully will help with the unbearable wait. So unfair for so many women who cannot enjoy 1/3 of their pregnancy because of previous losses, you see movies or series where people are happy from test day and not even thinking twice about the possibility of a MC… I agree with you though, better to focus on positive emotions!

Really hoping the best for us all! And let’s be grateful we’ve got that positive and got to where we are now. Some are still struggling to even get that BFP!

Laurzz · 26/05/2022 09:47

@Poppy9991 Sorry to hear about you losses too. Its so unfair we need to go through all the trauma but that's what makes us stronger. Enjoy your holiday and the Tunisia sun.

@Sxd515 Congratulations! Got everything crossed for your IVF journey.

Poppy9991 · 26/05/2022 11:59

Hi @Sxd515 mine is also an IVF pregnancy! Welcome aboard. You’re lucky they booked you for a 7w, mine is only at 8w3d (although to be fair going to be on holiday from tonight - 6w to 8w). I might get a scan abroad though! I looked up clinics where Im going and it seems they have very decent ones! So might book an early scan around 7w there! I really struggle not knowing what’s happening inside, I wish our abdomen were kind of like a glass-bottom boat where you could see that everything was alright…. ha!

Sxd515 · 26/05/2022 12:57

@Laurzz thank you!

@Poppy9991 congratulations to you too! Yes it's really hard not knowing!! I hope you can have a wonderful and relaxing holiday!

Hi all, I'm due January 27 ☺️ how's everyone doing? I'm not feeling pregnant at all today 🙈

TokenGinger · 26/05/2022 20:37

ZoeG22 · 26/05/2022 17:02

Hi all, I'm due January 27 ☺️ how's everyone doing? I'm not feeling pregnant at all today 🙈

I'm the same! The only thing I feel is incredibly tired. I was like this with my first pregnancy but other than that, I have been symptomless both times. X

Nyxxie · 26/05/2022 20:56

ZoeG22 · 26/05/2022 17:02

Hi all, I'm due January 27 ☺️ how's everyone doing? I'm not feeling pregnant at all today 🙈

Hi, I'm due 2 days after you ☺️ Not sure about feeling pregnant but I definitely look it right now - the bloating is unreal! 😂

ZoeG22 · 26/05/2022 21:23

@TokenGinger that's reassuring 👌🏻

@Nyxxie same actually, I didn't think about it being related to the pregnancy (thought it was all the crap I was eating 😂)

Talking about due dates - I was tracking my cycle and my DD according to my obligation is 30 Jan, but according to the nhs calculator which looks at period dates it's 27 Jan 🙈 which one should I pick? I guess the ovulation date calculation is the most accurate?

LemonZestDribbles · 26/05/2022 21:51

@ZoeG22 your midwife will likely go by period then the dating scan will get your overall due date from there. I'm just going by nhs as it confused me all last time

My symptoms have been coming and going but definitely getting stronger. Felt like 100 tonnes of crap today. Actually ready for bed now 😅

Welcome everyone new!!

Pickle0901 · 27/05/2022 07:14

It's interesting to see all the the new comments about the lack of symptoms. I had to go on a work night last night and only just over 5wks so couldn't say anything. I had to keep hiding drinks when I went to the toilet or sliding them across the table and giving them to someone else.

But I've woken up feeling no symptoms and it's making feel feel really down and upset. I think I read someone say that it's sad for those of us who have had losses, that we can't just enjoy the first trimester. I have felt tired and a bit hormonal in a forgetful and irritable way but nothing else and I just feel like am I getting my hopes up.
