@beansprout55 33 here too. Due 25th, but prob in for a section the week before.

GrowBabyGrow · 10/05/2022 19:11

I'm 33 weeks too! Not having a section although who knows anything can happen. I think I'm going to opt for section over drip if I had to be induced though.

I know I am not as far along but I am also very fed up. Cannot see how I'm going to get through the next 7 (or more!) weeks. Barely sleeping so I'm just a zombie 😔

beansprout55 · 10/05/2022 19:30

Ahhh yay @GrowBabyGrow and @RoseValleyRambles. I'm due 26th, praying he'll be a week early as I'm struggling already!!!x

fpeg · 10/05/2022 19:32

@Vimto1991 @mrkb @GrowBabyGrow thanks so much for the solidarity, I'm sorry that you're feeling rubbish too, but it does help to know that others are feeling the same!

Prema112 · 10/05/2022 19:46

@fpeg Yep, really struggling too, trying to explain to my husband why I'm really struggling to do school picks ups and he just doesn't really get it. Everything aches! But at the same time we are not logistically ready for this baby so don't want him to come yet!!

DH thinks I'm mad for refusing milk which is 3 days out of date 🤦‍♀️ Men sometimes...

Lostintranslatio · 10/05/2022 20:16

Due on the 29th of June and I have the feeling that she will wait until July to come 😭😭😭😭 Feeling very uncomfortable here too.

I've just noticed a white spot in one of my nipples, like a clogged milk pore but I thought that was sth that would happen while BF, not during pregnancy!! It is not sore nor painful.

pregnancydiaries · 10/05/2022 21:02

Joining the crew of those feeling rubbish. I'm 34 weeks with a section 4 weeks today and genuinely thinking about trying some of these old wives tales to get him out...then I feel guilty for saying it because I know he'd need to stay in hospital but omg I'm fed up.

sunflower198 · 10/05/2022 21:11

Also joining the feeling rubbish/fed up crew - could barely walk on Sunday as had sharp pains in pelvic area. Then back ache since then along with heartburn ☹️
Less than 3 weeks until c section but not looking forward to feeling this uncomfortable until then!

Vimto1991 · 10/05/2022 21:31

This last month is going to drag for us I think 😭. Feel you all on the back ache and heart burn, had it super bad today, and cramps, too.
I’ve just had baby kicking the crap out of my sides (I wish I didn’t have an anterior placenta so I could see feet!). Genuinely feels like I’m bruised from the inside now lol, and part of me is like, wow, they’ve not kicked that strong before… are they okay? Are they in distress? 🤦‍♀️
everyone seems to enjoy pregnancy, I feel so much better not being alone in that thought lol, not sure I wanna do this again. 😅

Octoblockisadick · 10/05/2022 21:38

@Vimto1991 the ones I've got are called colostrum collectors, you can buy the same syringes on amazon though (these: Sterifeed Sterile 1ml Colostrum Collector, Pack of 25 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07S21SLBV/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_TABDDKQS8HSN017K1PHC). They come with a cap so seal, not sure if normal syringes do.

Also joining the "I've had enough now" crew, the last few weeks suck. I'm uncomfortable, need to pee constantly, when I'm moving around I feel like a whale etc etc. It's just not attractive or fun haha. I do like watching my stomach move though, it's so obvious now and you can see it all through my clothes. Think that's the only positive though!

Vimto1991 · 10/05/2022 21:40

@Octoblockisadick thanks for that! Not sure if I should wait until the midwives have stock again or just spend £10 on the syringes 🙈

RooSut25 · 10/05/2022 21:47

Saw my consultant today and they're recommending induction on due date now because of my epilepsy medication concentration (more blood, lower concentration). It came a bit out of the blue, like it was a decision they'd just made on my behalf. For others thinking about inductions, what are the pros and cons? I was hoping to just let it happen naturally and not sure if I'm being silly about not wanted to be induced, but also don't want to just have those decisions made for me. I was hoping for a water birth and was told that wasn't an option if I was induced :-(

beansprout55 · 10/05/2022 22:26

Urgh, I have pinky/purple discharge again. When I had it last week the MW wasn't concerned at all - I'm 33 weeks - should I get a second opinion or have any of you had this or know if it's normal? Baby moving loads as per, no change there......

Katiebaby13 · 10/05/2022 22:37

@beansprout55 I'm 34 weeks, due 20th of June. No plans for a section. I have a feeling I will go over due. I'm not sure about coloured discharge. What did your midwife actually say, seems strange that she wouldn't be concerned in the change.

I'm also in the fed up club. Just feel so heavy and I wake up with achy hips. Back aches constantly.

beansprout55 · 10/05/2022 22:44

She just asked if I had symptoms of a UTI or had recently had sex - both a no! She didn't even call me in for a check. I did had this blood tinged discharge on and off up until 24 weeks but I've been fine since then (they never found a cause) - weird it's back last week and today.

I'm googling even though I know better.

Katiebaby13 · 10/05/2022 22:54

It's hard not to Google though. I would definitely mention it again. Especially since your answer to the questions were no. I'm sure it's fine though but it's hard not to worry when your not being given answers to why you are experiencing something. So much guess work in pregnancy

My midwife gave me a colustrum harvesting kit. She said u can start trying anytime after week 34 but Im going to wait till week 36

Rolledthedice · 11/05/2022 05:53

i just woke up with a crusty bloody nose (lovely) and now I haven’t felt any movements too. How long do you usually wait to feel a movement? I’ve tried drinking water and a tea but nothing yet. :/ Im
usually asleep at this time of day so wondering if baby is the same!

unknownscot · 11/05/2022 07:35

@Rolledthedice
How are you now?

I'd drink something and eat a wee biscuit or something.

Letsbekindplease · 11/05/2022 07:54

@Rolledthedice they told me an hour. Drink a pint of cold water and lie on your side in bed. No phone or anything. Just you so you can concentrate.

my little one did the exact same yesterday. I was really anxious but later started moving and at 4am started having a wee party. Not her usual time but I had awful heartburn and was tossing and turning

call triage if you are worried though. They’re there for that and so helpful x

Slanketeer · 11/05/2022 07:59

@Letsbekindplease I just went for my pre-pregnancy size and there's still plenty of room for me to grow a bit more (34 weeks at the moment) and I reckon I could fit baby nestled in the front. The Happy Mama ones I did the same but still found they were quite tent like and I looked a bit drowned in them!

Also joining the crew of feeling absolutely exhausted and sore. Seriously questioning the wisdom of my decision to continue work right up to my due date and we've just moved house so everything is in boxes and chaos which isn't helping! Hoping baby stays put until we're a bit more organised!

pregnancydiaries · 11/05/2022 08:04

Just deep cleaned the oven out and now lying on the bedroom floor wondering if I'll ever get my energy back 😂

pregnancydiaries · 11/05/2022 08:06

@Rolledthedice hope you got back to sleep and there's been some movement 🤞🏼

JAR1981 · 11/05/2022 08:26

@Octoblockisadick thanks for the colostrum video. She makes it look so easy. And that boob is about twice the size of mine! 🤣. Unfortunately my midwife got called away yesterday so appointment was cancelled and I didn’t get my kit :(. Now got it on Friday with a different midwife which is a bit disappointing- especially as we’re supposed to be doing my birth plan and I have a zillion questions as need to make the induction vs c-section decision. I wish this baby would just decide to pop out within the next 2 weeks instead!

@beansprout55 hope you get some answers about your discharge although I’ve heard it can be tinged as we get nearer the end and potentially start to lose our plug. Hopefully nothing to worry about.

@Rolledthedice hope you have your usual movement back.

@pregnancydiaries did you seriously say you just deep cleaned your oven at 8am?!? I’m still in bed!

Fed up crew - I feel you. Baby feels like they’re constantly in my ribs, well - everywhere really. And still can’t taste due to COVID, gutted as eating was one of the few things I was currently still enjoying! This baby is fully cooked on Saturday and I am more than ready for them to make an appearance now 🤣

pregnancydiaries · 11/05/2022 10:03

@JAR1981 I also have no idea how I did it, but I still haven't moved since and think that's me done for the day...is it bedtime yet? 😂

I am SO jealous you are fully cooked on Saturday, get eating that pineapple and curries!!
