So my little guy was born last night. 35+5 weeks. An hour of contractions, waters broke, baby here within 10 minutes. Born on the bedroom floor.

Thank you everyone. He's currently in a uv cocoon for jaundice. Otherwise things are ok. He was 5lb 8oz so a good weight.
It was just my partner and I. He came so fast. I was so scared.

@JAR1981 oh yeah, with extra risk factors it makes sense to err on the side of caution. Have you any initial thoughts about induction vs section?

Omg @thewindbeneathmywings , congratulations. He is absolutely gorgeous, and a good weight too. The labour does sound scary, so fast, and alone too. Had you phoned an ambulance or did you not get chance?

@thewindbeneathmywings wow what a quick labour! Can’t lie, that’s my biggest fear, not making it to the hospital in time 😂 so glad he is doing well and hope you’re alright. He’s so scrumptious!

It just took me that long to shave my legs in the shower I ended up feeling faint and sick. Slightly worried I overheated myself as I know that can be dangerous to the baby 😩

@Octoblockisadick I just checked my call list, we called the ambulance 3 minutes before he was born! Then the ambulance arrived 15 minutes later

Were your contractions not strong or far apart for that hour? What an amazing story!! So so happy for you xx
