I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

@IE00 In my last pregnancy it didn't until 7 weeks! So I'm hoping that is a good sign! The top test is diluted with 50% water, the bottom is pure undiluted

Due January 2023 ❤️

@Lifeafterloss22 thanks for the great info.

@Moosh18 I’ve had the same concerns about dates, I’m expecting my first after having an 8 wk MC a year ago. I thought I conceived around 18th April, had a urine test at the drs last Friday (5+4) and she said it looked like 4 weeks as it was faint. She then surprised me by pulling out an ultrasound machine, we couldn’t see a fetus on the scan as it’s so early but we saw the gestational sac which she said looked perfect, just a little bit smaller than 5+4.
I think we can get too caught up in our heads when it comes to dates and test results etc. Personally, I’m trying to relax a bit more, listen to pregnancy meditations, and let nature do it’s thing, it’s just difficult when the hormones are so rampant 😅

Congratulations all! Happy to join this thread.

How is everyone getting booked for early scans and appointments?

My first appointment with any doctor or midwife is after my 12 week scan, which is still 7 weeks away - and even then I have to ring them to book the appointment.

Hana89 · 17/05/2022 07:44

Hi @Neitherhearnordear congratulations on your BFP! 🎊💖
With the bookings, some of it depends on the health care teams in your area, but mostly I think it depends on your history. Those of us with a history of complications or miscarriage tend to be more closely monitored. A few people are going for private scans too 😊
How are you feeling? Xx

Morning ladies! I am around weeks. Just wondered if anyone else has had random stabby/stitch like pains every so often on one side. They are not painful or uncomfortable and don’t last longer than a few seconds so i’m not overly worried, I’m praying it’s this sticky bean getting cosy! Xx

Babycakes1989 · 17/05/2022 08:03

*around 5 weeks that should of said!

Gokwibwu · 17/05/2022 08:14

Hello 👋🏻

glad to find this thread. I had a faint line last night but it is still faint again this morning and I’ve had a small amount of bleeding. Didn’t have this with my first so feeling very worried hit trying to keep positive.

My due date would be Jan 23rd xx

Cat2hop · 17/05/2022 08:48

@Babycakes1989 yes, random sharp pains for a half second every now and again. 5 weeks!

Babycakes1989 · 17/05/2022 09:50

@Cat2hop oh it’s nice to know I’m not alone! Im sure it’s normal I think I remember this with my little boy. What is your due date !? I’ve got heartburn / acid reflux feeling this morning xx

IE00 · 17/05/2022 10:10

Is anyone else struggling with sleep? I have trouble sleeping. I wake up at 4.45am/5am and my sleep is lighter from then on. Does anyone have any tips to help sleep?

Cat2hop · 17/05/2022 10:10

@Babycakes1989 Jan 16, how about you?

Ajwb1992 · 17/05/2022 10:45

can I join please? Found out I was expecting it first child last Monday with a due date of 13/1/2023!

mmp22 · 17/05/2022 10:51

Hi All! i did post on here last week but I have been getting super faint positives on the HcG strips since 9th May. i did a FRER and it was so faint it was almost invisible but today I’ve done a clear blue and got the below result.. do you think it’s a positive or evap line?? as soon as i did it nothing came up, the line came up about 20mins later… not sure what to think but I’m 19dpo today so if it’s positive I’m 4+4 and due 20th Jan. I’m scared to call doctors yet as i had a miscarriage last month at 5 weeks. i feel like i want to wait till 6 weeks before i call them

Due January 2023 ❤️
brogan12 · 17/05/2022 10:51

@IE00 I'm really struggling to sleep too! Past few mornings I've been awake from 5! It's killing me!

@Ajwb1992 congratulations! I "think" I'm due around the 11th January ✨

Moosh18 · 17/05/2022 11:22

IE00 · 17/05/2022 11:48

Thanks for the suggestions @Moosh18

IE00 · 17/05/2022 11:48

Sorry I meant @Lifeafterloss22 thanks for the suggestion

brogan12 · 17/05/2022 11:50

I'm 5+6 today and other than the insomnia, I literally don't feel pregnant 😂 anyone else? I mean when I first get up I feel slightly nauseous and I keep wrenching but not physically sick and once I've eaten I'm fine 😂 only got to wait another 3 weeks before my early scan, by god times going so slow!

@IE00 camomile tea did somewhat help! X

hopingfor23 · 17/05/2022 11:51

@mmp22 I would possibly excpect it to be a little darker for 19 dpo. If it were me I'd be calling the gp to ask for bloods to be taken so you know for sure. They will take two lots 48 hours apart and you will then see if it's progressing or if it's a chemical. Sending love x
