I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

@MummytoNeive we'll be drinking gaviscon by the litre soon enough. I absolutely hate gaviscon as well 🤢

@mrsgtobe97 yay for 3 weeks on digital. Those things give me the fear 🤣

What's everyone got planned for the weekend? Other than growing babies ofc!

LouiseD2018 · 14/05/2022 08:51

@mrsgtobe97 great news, the tests offer great reassurance but can also cause such panic!!

Hi all this is my first ever BFP. After 5 years of ttc, i am pregnant via ivf. Whist i am incredibly grateful for this blessing im also very worried. Im 5 weeks and 2 days today and my cervix feels quite low. Last week it felt high. I feel this as im inserting estrogen tablets there. Anyone else have a low cervix? Is this normal, should i be worried.

Not taking anymore!! 😅😅 I have my scan on Thursday so hopefully it goes well

Amber17 · 14/05/2022 11:10

@MrsGrealish I’ve got my eye on the bbhugme pillow. Ridic price but have seen them cheaper on eBay.

No issues getting to sleep here though - I’m in bed by half nine feeling exhausted! Lots of cramping and waves of feeling suddenly incredibly hungry.

@LemonZestDribbles Glad to see you over on this thread! I’m supposed to be running a half marathon this weekend, might be doing that a lot more slowly than planned!

Hello, I've been lurking for a week just to make sure but I'm now 5+4. I'm due 10th of January! This is my second pregnancy. Bit of a surprise to be honest, I'm 41 now and was expecting it to take a while but it's happened much quicker than the first one.
Feel properly sick today!
Had major nausea with my first, really hoping it's going to be better this time. Sending positive vibes to everybody, the first trimester is so stressful. I'm currently trying to pretend I'm not pregnant in case anything goes wrong whilst simultaneously feeling tired and nauseous.

LemonZestDribbles · 14/05/2022 11:32

@MrsGrealish I had a big v pillow before but I found it a bit too big. I ended up liking the smaller feeding pillows as I could hook it (🤣) between my legs or lean on it. Holiday sounds fab!!

@Amber17 that sounds way energetic 🙈🙈 I'm starving today. Just ate two potato waffles with mayo

Posie100 · 14/05/2022 11:34

Currently trying to finish my pg cert before the sickness takes hold...... I think I’m losing the battle. 😕

@MummytoNeive ugh! The acid reflux is the worst! Do you notice it starting after you've eaten anything in particular? I'm trying to narrow down my suspects! Haha!
@mrsgtobe97 OMG! My heart stopped in sympathy for what you went through last night. I'm so glad the test was better today and yes, definitely a good idea not to do anymore! 😊
Welcome to @Posie100 and @SUMMERTIME02 and congratulations on your BFP 🎊 I was a cautious lurker too so well done for being brave. It can feel like a big step! 💖

@LemonZestDribbles my plans for the weekend are to garden, garden, garden! I think Manchester is due a rainy spell for a few days after today so I want to get as much done as possible! How about you?

babyjellyfish · 14/05/2022 14:26

Just a warning for anyone doing Clearblue digital tests.

I did one two days ago at 5+1 and was a little disappointed to get 2-3 weeks. Just had a blood test today and my beta HCG is over 14,000. Those tests clearly aren't very reliable!

Kindofcrunchy · 14/05/2022 14:27

Hana89 · 13/05/2022 14:27

How is everyone feeling today?

Can I just ask: is anyone else having mad heartburn? I have small bouts of regular nausea but the acid and gas (sorry for tmi) is something else. I'm 5w 5d so it feels a bit early for this!

I'm even earlier than you, 4w 5d, and the heartburn has already started! I had it all the way through my first pregnancy, it was miserable :(

Hana89 · 14/05/2022 15:01

@Kindofcrunchy Nooooooo!!! 😱 My resolution to be grateful for all symptoms might waver if that is the case! 🤣🤣

TerrazzoChips · 14/05/2022 15:12

Very tentatively joining - I’m 4w1d but been testing positive since 3w2d (!)

My due date will be 19/20 January if all goes to plan 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’ll be a first time single mum so a
mix of excited and nervous!

LouiseD2018 · 14/05/2022 15:32

@MrsGrealish I've been thinking about a pillow too, never had one for my first, the past few nights I've just not got comfortable.
Hopefully the cramps will just be a little stretching xx

LemonZestDribbles · 14/05/2022 15:33

@SUMMERTIME02 @Posie100 congratulations on your bfp!

@Posie100 I'm making the most of the light nausea right now. It kicked in properly around 6 weeks last time and I was still being sick up until ds was born 🤢

@Hana89 love a but of gardening! Dh and I are having a tasty food and eurovision night tonight so looking forward to that

@Kindofcrunchy the heartburn is awful. It was my first sign this time as I'd never had heartburn before or after my last pregnancy

@TerrazzoChips massive congratulations. You'll be fab, single mums are 💪💪💪

It's slightly better than throwing up, but not by much 😑 by 38 weeks I was eating mainly rennies.. I'm surprised dc1 wasn't minty fresh on arrival 😅

Posie100 · 14/05/2022 18:15

@MightyMouse101
Don’t suppose you could post that fb link again? the old one has expired.

Elspethelf · 14/05/2022 18:25

Hi all! Based on ovulation date, I am due Jan 16th, but I will have a planned c-section at 38 weeks which means Jan 2nd. My first Dr appointment is Monday. Congrats all

plantflowersforbees · 14/05/2022 19:10

Hi all, first time mum here stressing myself out. I live in Scotland and am due Jan 6th, estimated 6w1d today based on the first day of my last period (1.4.22). I have contacted the midwife unit near me and have been given two appts, one on the 6.6.22 for bloods and one on the 22.6.22 for the scan. So I will be approx 10w for the first appt and 12w for the scan. Is it normal to not see a professional until 10w? Do I need to book a GP appt too? I would ask the lady who booked me in but she was very rushed on the phone and hung up before I could ask any questions! Thanks so much.
