I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

@Somatronic I get this too, I've had it in my previous pregnancies too, just everything stretching and growing in our uterus that causes it. It's painful sometimes, like you say when turning over in bed or sitting up from the sofa. It usually passes after the first few weeks. I'm 4weeks 6days.

Somatronic · 10/05/2022 09:45

@hopingfor23 and @AnxietyForever thank you! That''s so reassuring! I was hoping it was something like that. Thanks a million for responding.

Hi, congratulations to all with their BFP, wishing you all the luck that your babies stay safe!
I got a BFP in April which lead to a chemical pregnancy 5 days later. I ovulated 14 days after and am currently 13DPO and have had 3 days of super faint positives. I am feeling super tired and have a really bad headache today but am too scared to get excited or feel real about this until i see a stronger line. When did you all start to see a strong line? Last month my lines stayed faint and so i am feeling more scared than anything. This will be our first baby, we only started TTC in March so i know i am super lucky compared to many who struggle but have just been feeling really down since going through the chemical.

Joining 🥰 due the 17th January.

LouiseD2018 · 10/05/2022 11:41

@Somatronic I also had ivf and I've also felt a particular pain most nights when I turn over in one direction and if I stand quickly. I'm hoping it's just a bit if stretching, I don't remember having it with dd but maybe all the poking around with ivf has left things a bit more tender. Hoping that's all it is!!

Joining - due early jan ☺️ (Not sure on dates as I ovulated on cycle day 24 so app’s are saying 5 weeks 1 day from lmp)

all a little bit of a whirlwind for me, I gave birth to our sleeping boy on the 22nd jan at 22 weeks. I then found out I was pregnant again in April which was chemical I believe (I started bleeding at 5/half weeks but never had dark tests)

im very luck to have not had a period and to find out I’m pregnant again, 15dpo today and test is nearly as dark as control line!

congratulations everyone!

Daisy2206 · 10/05/2022 12:52

Posting the link to the Facebook group again for anyone that would like to join as the old link has expired. It’s a private and closed group.

I'd like to join the FB group too but it says this link is broken.

Got a BFP the other day and should be due 16th Jan.

Just a quick question, I'm only 5weeks5days in, but since becoming pregnant I've had pains in my lower tummy when I turn over in bed and sometimes a very sharp pain when I stand up quickly.

I had IVF with fresh transfer so had a lot going on with my ovaries/uterus in the weeks before my BFP so it may be that? Or maybe it's normal for very early pregnancy? It's my first time so I don't know but I feel like I'm doing damage when it happens!

Any ideas?

I have this too and I had it during my previous pregnancy. I think it’s called round ligament pain which is quite common in pregnancy.

Joining! Bfp today. Due mid Jan. Old lady (fertility wise) at 42 😂but seriously, I know the odds are not in my favour. Mc last October. Let's hope this time it sticks.

Somatronic · 10/05/2022 14:00

@Swale and @LouiseD2018 thanks so much for that. I thought it might be round ligament pain but when I googled it it seemed to be something that occurs later in pregnancy so I wasn't sure. I feel much better now.

Welcome to all the new people. Congratulations!

Caspino · 10/05/2022 14:28

Can I join please? 5 weeks 5 days, very surprised!! Praying it sticks. Had an ectopic in February.

For those of you worried about miscarriage (obviously personal circumstances might be different)

This is actually really reassuring, thank you 💛

Sassy144 · 10/05/2022 15:51

@MrsGrealish welcome! I remember you from the other thread, so pleased for you x

Congratulations everyone! I did say on fb group but thought I'd update the thread too
... was told I had a pregnancy in unknown location at EPU today. There was some irregular fluid and something which looks like it is either the start of something or it is a failed gestational sac (I expect the latter due to lack of progress on pregnancy tests). They still can't rule out ectopic though i don't think it's that. I still haven't started bleeding
Had an HCG and progesterone blood test and waiting for a call with the results and plan going forward. They said they would call ages ago so just feel like I'm in limbo again! No idea what's going on!

Hopesandrainbows · 10/05/2022 16:45

They just called... hcg is 140 and progesterone is 15. Obviously not good. Going back for repeat in a couple of days but I expect the bleeding will start by then
Take care girls xx

Sassy144 · 10/05/2022 16:53

@Hopesandrainbows I'm really sorry to hear that, being in limbo is so horrible and I hope you get some answers soon ❤️

Somatronic · 10/05/2022 16:59

@Hopesandrainbows I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I hope that you'll be well looked after in the coming days xx
