I know this is very early but I wanted to start a thread for those with a January 2023 due date.

I got my BFP 2 days ago and am about 4 weeks pregnant today. I already have a little boy born in November 2020 and I’m super excited for him to get a sibling but I know it’s early days and have had 2 early miscarriages in the past so slightly nervous too!

I'd love to join if that's ok! Got my BFP (can't even believe I can write that) on 29th April and I'm 5 weeks 4 days today, first pregnancy & baby 😊 I've booked an early scan for when I'm 7 weeks on 21st May. I'm feeling super anxious and keep worrying that something's going to wrong and burst this magical bubble I'm in. Anyone else feeling like that? Due roughly 6th Jan!

Annabelle0852 · 10/05/2022 19:19

Absolutely relate to that! I'll also be going for a viability scan at 7 weeks.

Currently pregnant with 1st baby but 2nd pregnancy after a loss at 5 weeks in March. Hard to stay chill at the moment!

Where's everyone's symptoms at right now?

babyjellyfish · 10/05/2022 20:09

Hi all. Tentatively joining this thread. I'm about 5 weeks pregnant at the moment.

I had five miscarriages TTC my son who was born in April 2021, and this was my first cycle TTC no.2.

I have no expectations of it sticking due to my history but I have had blood tests which are looking good, and have an early scan booked for next Wednesday!

GaslighterDenier · 10/05/2022 20:41

Joining too please, due either 12th/15th Jan. I've just done a clear blue which is BFP after 5 days of very very faint strip tests. Only went and bought the clearblues because I read the Amazon reviews of the strip tests and people were complaining that they were faint.

Forgot to add, this is DC4 for me, have a 6 year old, 4 year old and a 1 year old. Had an 18 month gap between 1&2 and it'll be around 21 months between 3&4.
Suffered a miscarriage at around 6 weeks a few years ago so still very panicky at this stage but the previous chart on rates was actually very helpful so thanks for that!

41andtryingforfirst · 11/05/2022 05:55

Hi all hope it's ok to join. I just got my BFP (first baby) and early calculations say I'm due 23.1.23 x

I’ve had no symptoms yet, breast hurt slightly last week but that’s now gone.
I would usually worry but I’ve learnt no amount of worrying will make the slightest difference.
pregnancy that ended in January was perfect until 20 weeks, I do also have a happy healthy 5 year old!

my partner loves to remind me when I moan about lack of symptoms that some people have no idea there pregnant until very late on!

has anyone else started with symptoms, I’ll have my first nhs scan at 8 weeks (I’ve pushed for it)

MimiBeee · 11/05/2022 10:26

@281717O
Congratulations to you

My sister in law didn't know until 28 weeks! 🤯

Im feeling nauseous and boobs hurt ! But also have period like discomfort which is making me worry . Just really really hope it will be ok 💖

281717O · 11/05/2022 10:52

I have period like discomfort but not period pains, if that makes sense, more then feeling I’m going to come on.
there all good signs though!!

wow, I’d actually love that. The first 20 weeks are the worst for worry aren’t they!

I'm due 9th too! Early scan on 19th May when I'm 6w3d and absolutely terrified something will be wrong. First pregnancy after trying for a long time so I think heightens it more xx

MimiBeee · 11/05/2022 11:41

@281717O

Yeah that's how I feel too but hopefully it's because things are moving or stretching ?!

Yeah it's so hard , trying my best not to worry . I had a missed miscarriage before and at the first scan I found out it had stopped growing about 6-7 weeks . My tests were still so strong , I had no sign of loss and felt completely pregnant . I had to take a pill to get it out because my body just didn't want it to go . Was horrible and at the moment I'm just constantly thinking what if this what if that ... I can't think of much else although I'm trying so hard to be positive xx

281717O · 11/05/2022 12:01

Aw no! I’m really sorry to hear that. i experienced a miscarriage at 5/half weeks but my tests were never dark.
I ‘promised’ myself I wouldn’t take a test after a saw a dark enough line but it is really difficult, I honestly think I’ll worry until baby is earth side.
my little boy had a specific problem picked up at the 20 week scan that only runs in boys so I may settle less if I find out I’m having a girl.
im keeping everyone in my prayers!

thinking of doing sneak peak gender, has anyone ever tried this?

MimiBeee · 11/05/2022 12:05

@281717O

I have never done sneak peak gender but with my little boy I found out he was a boy at 11 weeks pregnant because I had a Harmony test done for him as his NT was over double the norm xx

@Absw24 The FB link in my most recent post should still be valid - let me know if you can't find it or if it doesn't work and I'll re-post it.

shocked and excited!!! Will be my first!

plantflowersforbees · 11/05/2022 15:50

@Efj96 Congratulations!!

41andtryingforfirst · 11/05/2022 18:26

Hi all, I'm having the strangest symptoms. I've never been pregnant before so no idea if they're normal. I found out very early at 10dpo as I fainted the day before. I have extreme fatigue, hunger and dizziness. It's like I've been hit with it all at once. I've got AF symptoms (due Friday) but test is getting stronger every day. Also my mouth feels like when you're about to get a cold and everything tastes off. Anyone else had this? X

Ladytara17 · 11/05/2022 19:52

Found out I’m pregnant for the 6th time 🤪 I already have 5 between 3 and 22. This was a surprise after taking our eye off the ball date wise 🙄😂. I’m also 41 and was not planning on anymore
been to epu after sharp pain today, I should be 5w 4s but could only see gestational sac and called back in 2 weeks for rescan. Super dark tests, dye stealer so was hoping to see something 😞
