@PinkFizz1 what brilliant news! And also it must be quite nice to be a day ahead - cheeky bonus - A day closer to baby’s arrival!

@baby2in2022 I am exhausted too, I even had to have a little nap yesterday, after spending the day doing absolutely nothing

@MariaDingbat sorry to hear you’re having such a rough time. Are any of the things you’ve bought working? My sister had success with prescription medication from the dr. I hope you feel better soon - you’re nearly into the second trimester 🤞🏻

@LolaJ87 I hope your headache is easing - sounds awful! Big hugs!

@Frozen1991 welcome to the group! Sorry you’re feeling so rough at the moment, I hope it passes soon. I went up a bra size by week 5 too - the only bonus of pregnancy!

@littlecontis wonderful! Congratulations on your successful scan. So reassuring aren’t they?!

@Horriblewoman wow! So much going on for you! How was your first day at work? I’ve been using Ovia to track my pregnancy so far

DogsAndGin · 03/05/2022 17:20

@LostFox82 welcome to the group and best of luck with your Xmas baby!

@RSmamaa I have everything crossed for you. I’ve got to say - I’m very impressed you’re able to text your midwife, that’s a really fab service!

@Pinkfig what a relief! Brill news that all is okay

@mrscrumotious oh yes! I think everyone absolutely stinks of BO! Never noticed it before - so it must be my over sensitive nose. I walked into the staffroom today and had to immediately leave today, it stank!

@Gioia1 wow!! Look at that! Thank you for sharing - I had no idea that arms and legs were visible so early. Amazing

Loving all these updates! Can’t believe how quickly these little ones are growing 🥰 waiting with apprehension for the hyperemesis to begin (all the women in my family have had it). Fingers crossed a have dodged that gene!

Sdoubleyou · 03/05/2022 17:26

I'm not at all able to load the dishwasher anymore. My DP has to do it because it massively sets off my gag reflex. I haven't been sick, but many smells, or thoughts of smells, will make me properly gag.

KittyKat1989 · 03/05/2022 17:55

The water company knocked on my door today and announced that we have lead in our water. I'm now in a blind panic about that hurting the bean, not made any better by Googling it! The company dropped off 72x 2L bottles of water, so it doesn't look like it will be resolved any time soon either. We're on a private road, so it also sounds very expensive to fix. Luckily I am scheduled to have my bloods taken on Thursday so I will flag it then and request that they check for lead. What terrible timing to find out - we have lived here in blissful ignorance for seven years!

Graceybaby · 03/05/2022 18:06

@Gioia1 What amazing scan pictures! 😍

Just catching up, loving all the updates! Sorry to hear there's alot of sickness going on!

Almost 7 weeks here, no nausea and still zero symptoms just very tired but I'm not sleeping well so don't think it's 100% pregnancy related.

Scan next weekend so im just counting down to that!

5dogsandcounting · 03/05/2022 18:15

Hi guys, loved reading through some of your posts!

I've had an early scan today confirming I am exactly 7 weeks pregnant, due date is 17th dec. I've also been told I have a tipped uterus 🙈🙈

My daughter was born at 26 weeks and I suffered the whole pregnancy with extreme hyperemisis, she stopped growing and was born by emergency C section she's now 14 and doing well.

My son was 36 weeks, hypremisis again but didn't require hospital treatment other than once to be rehydrated. He stopped growing at 34 weeks and arrived by emergency C section.

I hoping hypremisis doesn't grace me with its presence this time around. So far I'm continuously nauseous but havnt physically been sick. Spent most of the weekend wiped off my feet 🙈

Hope you all continue to grow your babies well ❤💙

RSmamaa · 03/05/2022 19:16

@Pinkfig amazing news glad the scan was ok. Not heard back from EPU yet so assuming it will be tomorrow now.

FlowerJ · 03/05/2022 23:02

Repeat scan at EPU tomorrow. Pretty sure I know what they are going to say. I've been consistently bleeding for over a week now. Labour type cramping in the evenings for the past few days and passed a few small clots. Sad knowing my journey is already ending.

Kaybubs · 04/05/2022 01:55

Hi ladies,
Would love to join this thread with you all. I'm due in December. I've been feeling so bloated whilst simultaneously eating everything in sight. One of my 5 year old students asked me today if I was having a baby 😂. Going for my first scan on Friday. Not sure what to expect. Was/is anyone else nervous before their first scan?

Kaybubs · 04/05/2022 01:59

@FlowerJ I'm so sorry. Sending you love.

Laughingmole · 04/05/2022 06:58

@FlowerJ sending you love 💐

baby2in2022 · 04/05/2022 08:28

@FlowerJ
so sorry. Sending you lots of love ❤️

baby2in2022 · 04/05/2022 08:40

@Kaybubs aw I love how children just say what they think. Brilliant. I was so nervous for my first scan with my little boy. How many weeks are you? I'd say prepare for an internal based on how far along you are, don't drink too much water that you feel like you're about to burst as you'll end up in agony and desperate for the scan to be over, don't be worried if it takes a minute or so for them to show you the screen either and when they do just enjoy looking at your baby on the screen xx

Tofu35 · 04/05/2022 09:25

@FlowerJ I'm so sorry to hear this 💐 if the EPU does confirm your worries, please take care of yourself xx

LolaJ87 · 04/05/2022 09:28

@FlowerJ I'm so sad to hear that. Sending you love and strength. What you're going through sounds beyond difficult, my heart goes out to you.

PinkFizz1 · 04/05/2022 09:51

@FlowerJ sending lots of love. ❤️

Melusina123 · 04/05/2022 10:54

Hi all,

6+3 here and still no real symptoms except things that are pretty normal for me anyway (twingy cramps, tired, some heartburn, sore boobs). Went to France over the long weekend with the in laws and had to do some very swift ducking and weaving about cheeses (on which, this website was a godsend - pregnancy-food.com/cheese). At one restaurant my OH had to pretend he had suddenly taken a violent dislike to chevre so we could go somewhere else 😂 (we're both vegetarian so options were already pretty limited).

Got home to letters from the hospital - booking appointment on 25 May (I'll be 9+3) and first scan 13 June! But I think I'll have an early scan at 8wks...

Still don't really believe it's all happening and there's a little bean riding shotgun in my stomach. 🤯

lovesT · 04/05/2022 10:55

So sorry to see some sad news 😔

RSmamaa · 04/05/2022 10:55

@FlowerJ so sorry to hear that. Sending lots of love and hugs Flowers

RSmamaa · 04/05/2022 10:56

I've had a call from EPU and they are going to see me later today. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼 all my symptoms have pretty much gone which makes me worried

stuntbubbles · 04/05/2022 10:57

@FlowerJ Sorry to hear this – please look after yourself Flowers

MochaHoldTheMilkAndCoffee · 04/05/2022 11:17

PinkFizz1 · 04/05/2022 11:49

@RSmamaa everything crossed for you, please let us know how you get on ❤️
