I'm just over 5 weeks but still don't have any symptoms, also trying to sell our house and I'm starting a new job tomorrow so there's quite a lot going on!

I haven't even arranged a booking in apt yet so that's on my list of things to do later.

Does anyone have a good pregnancy tracking app? Hoping that will make me feel more connected!

Noodle87 · 02/05/2022 20:26

@PinkFizz1 so glad that everything was ok, you must have been terrified!

I've had the worst weekend, going downhill steadily after the disaster with the Chinese, I have spent plenty of my time with my head down the toilet. Had a very sneaky puke at my sisters house this afternoon, and claimed a headache to get out of a glass of wine - she didn't say anything but I'm not sure she would even if she suspected.

Dreading work tomorrow - on the bright side, it's my one day that is mainly sixth form so I can leave the room more easily if needs be 🙃

Astar21 · 02/05/2022 20:47

@Chanel05 it's such a stressful time, never realised how mentally exhausting pregnancy could be! Hopefully your brown spotting is just old implantation, it's such a common thing to happen.

Great to hear so many positive early scans happening 🥰

@Horriblewoman I've downloaded Flo, Ovia & Pregnancy+ apps, which all have interesting reads & you can see visually how the pregnancy progresses each week

LostFox82 · 02/05/2022 21:48

Hi ladies, hope it’s ok to join. lovely to read the support in this group.
I’m due 27th Dec, so only 5w6d and wishing the days away to get to my first scan!
ive got 2 lovely boys 7 and 5 but I’ve had 2 missed miscarriages over the last year so this time I’m really hoping and crossing everything. It’s probably my last shot as I’ve just turned 40 and my husband is getting bored with baby chat for the last 2 years!
im on a load of drugs through recurrent miscarriage unit this time so 🤞🏻
I have hardly any symptoms though which is odd. I had brown spotting during week 4 but I’ve had that in all 4 pregnancies to date, good and bad outcomes.
I look 3 months preg though as sooo bloated so nightmare trying to hide it at work!
x

Amphibian94 · 03/05/2022 07:21

How is everyone today? Any more scans coming up this week?

Wondered if anyone had felt the same... I've started to have some cramping but not in my stomach it's more low down practically in my vagina like a dull throbbing/aching? Any one had similar? No blood or anything else... still being sick and sore boobs. Not sure what to make of it! X

LC84 · 03/05/2022 07:46

@LostFox82 @Amphibian94 hey 6w today for me! Early scan is this weekend so hoping for good news, as despite ALL the symptoms last week, they have really tailed off now (apart from the massive sore boobs!)... no spotting but after a previous MMC im obviously anxious...

I had really bad cramps last week @Amphibian94 low down too like period pains... less so now

Hope everyone has a fab week and we all manage to hide our bloat a bit longer 🤣

RSmamaa · 03/05/2022 08:48

I'm 7 weeks exactly today and I have a constant dull ache like a period cramp. I'm spotting a little too so I'm a bit worried and have just text my midwife about it. Hoping she starts at 9 and sees it I don't know who to call as it's so early. I've got a feeling I'm coming to the end 💔

Tofu35 · 03/05/2022 09:20

The closer I get to the time of my last miscarriage, the more worried I get that it will happen again. I downloaded the headspace app to try and start mindfulness because I'm no good to anyone when I'm constantly analysing any feeling or sensation (or lack thereof).

Hoping some of you find this familiar, and have some hints for getting me through this week in one piece!

quinnbaby · 03/05/2022 09:44

Hi Everyone,

I am 8+4 today with my twins. I have my booking appointment tomorrow which I am really looking forward to, to understand multiple pregnancy antenatal care.

I am super bloated and definitely sporting a bump of some kind, plus my nausea progressed to actual sickness over the weekend which isn't very nice. Can't wait to see my little babies again so will hopefully get dating scan date tomorrow.

Back at work today after some lovely holiday in April, so have post holiday blues and bored of work already!

Pinkfig · 03/05/2022 09:46

Morning ladies been having terrible cramping and pain in my upper tummy. Phoned the EPU and they've booked me in for a scan this morning at 11. I'm a bag of nerves.

RSmamaa · 03/05/2022 10:08

@Pinkfig I think I'm going to call too but mine doesn't sound as intense but I am slightly worried. Hope your scan is ok keep is updated x

KittyKat1989 · 03/05/2022 10:08

@Pinkfig Good luck this morning - hope it goes well xxx

Wanderlust16 · 03/05/2022 10:32

Total TMI share but, I’ve been complaining a bit as my symptoms have been so on and off and I was worried something wasn’t ok. When I was brushing my teeth yesterday I felt a bit nauseous and today I threw up! Felt a bit odd celebrating being sick and I’m sure it’ll wear off fast but I’m glad it’s happened!

baby2in2022 · 03/05/2022 10:35

@Pinkfig hope everything goes well at your scan. Be thinking of you

@RSmamaa sorry to hear your worried as well. Has your midwife called you back yet?

@Tofu35 @LC84 the early pregnancy anxiety is horrible isn't it. I found the calm app really useful in my first pregnancy when my mind was in overdrive and then tried to do as much as I could to distract myself.

@LostFox82 welcome. Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Praying for a happy, healthy pregnancy for you.

@Amphibian94 I'm sure a few people mentioned similar pains last week on the thread. I have had an occasional pain like that but more fleeting rather than constant

stuntbubbles · 03/05/2022 10:40

Good luck, @Pinkfig and @RSmamaa – hope it’s nothing.

@Tofu35 Can you create busyness for yourself this week? Extra work projects, going out a lot? Appreciate if you feel like me you’d have to be dragged out. Lots of early nights – sleep the time away, plus being more rested always makes me less anxious.

I feel like roadkill today. The nausea has truly upped its game and I am heaving by roadsides and into bins. DD is deeply curious about “sicky mummy” and keeps waving bananas in my face “to cheer you up” which just sets off more pukiness. Gah!

Anoushka1986 · 03/05/2022 10:53

Hi everyone, jumping on a bit late here but I'm 6 weeks pregnant after a miscarriage in January. Haven't really had any symptoms yet. Just really hope this is the one 🤞🏻 .

PinkFizz1 · 03/05/2022 10:54

@Pinkfig @RSmamaa good luck both of you and fingers crossed for a positive outcome. Please keep us updated. x

Mommabear20 · 03/05/2022 11:21

Good luck to everyone with scams coming up! And welcome to all your newbies 😁

8+3 today and fell incredibly bloated! Definitely have a little bump going on more , really don't thing I'm gonna be able to hide it for another month! 😂

Krista1991 · 03/05/2022 11:33

Morning.
I am 6 weeks,no morning sickness yet, just sore boobs and back pains, tired all the time now 🙈

My early scan will be tomorrow,so I hope everything will be good 🎉🙏🏻😊

MrsCrumbtious · 03/05/2022 11:52

Morning everyone!
is anyone finding their food/smell aversions are going? Couldn’t stand the smell of my fabric softener since I found out I was pregnant but today it doesn’t smell too bad 😬 (cue me worrying again!)

have a private scan booked for Sunday when I’ll be 8 weeks so hoping it will help me relax a bit.

RSmamaa · 03/05/2022 12:18

@baby2in2022 not yet. Waiting for epu to call.

Thanks everyone x

Gioia1 · 03/05/2022 12:58

Hi ladies hope you’re all doing well.
had a scan this am and all ok.measuring at 9 wks which is about right. Couldn’t get a clear pic as I have large fibroids around Going bk in 10 days. I get fairly reg scans because of uterine fibroids. Saw my baby move arms and legs! Little human now just growing.

I won’t deny a tiny part of me feels anxious due to mmc in jan but I feel more hopeful.

for those going for early scans wishing you all the best!

F03t · 03/05/2022 16:26

Hi all - I'm 9+1 today and my symptoms seemed to have disappeared - no nausea/strong sense of smell/food aversions in 5 days. Had a scan last Weds and all was well and now I'm wondering whats happened.... has anyone else's symptoms disappeared as time went on? Thanks for any advice!

Pinkfig · 03/05/2022 16:27

Thanks everyone x
Scan went well, measuring at 6+5 like they epected, saw a flicker of a heartbeat too! She even had a look at my ovaries, I ovulated from my left ovary as I had a good sized corpus luteum. The sac looks a good size too. Very reassured.

Any news @RSmamaa ?

Nejnej2 · 03/05/2022 16:49

@F03t Really common for symptoms to come and go. Mine are muuuch better today (9+1). Midwife told me that symptoms don't mean anything, unless it's bleeding or pain (not cramping though), so try not to worry and enjoy feeling better! (Easier said than done I know!)
