@Tofu35 I'm so excited about the box! My daughter was born in England so we didn't get it but my SIL had one for her daughter so I can't wait! You've just reminded me of another perk of having a baby 😅 how do we get it? Just look it up online? I'll give the sling away as we have one but yay free stuff!

@lovesT Im sure the midwife gave me something to fill out to claim our baby box. It was maybe at the 16 week appointment or could have even been later than that 🤷‍♀️ We loved ours too! Loads of goodies!

I got a leaflet to claim my baby box at my booking appointment: I’m not really sure when we should put it through! My 12 week scan is on Monday and my anxiety is real. Hopefully everything is ok! :)

I've been having headaches for the last few days and just doesn't seem to go away ☹️

@AG96 how are you feeling now? I've got a bad cold just now. I think it's just a cold I can't stop coughing, blocked nose with a really dry tickly cough, I'm terrified it's harming the baby. I've taken 2 covid tests which are both negative but still not convinced! Have you been able to take anything apart from the paracetamol? I think I'm going to get a reassurance scan too x

@hopefulsunshine11 I promise the baby will be fine despite the coughing — they’re all snugly tucked in and designed to stay aboard through coughing, throwing up, constipation and every other joy of pregnancy.

My DD currently has chicken pox and I’ve got tonsillitis – morning sickness voms around swollen tonsils has to be my least favourite thing ever, feeling VERY droopy drawers and down in the dumps.

@stuntbubbles oh no, that sounds horrible. Hope you're both feeling better soon. Thanks for the reassurance. I just panic as I've got a sore stomach and funny pains and I think it's probably just the muscles from contracting. I never get a cold at this time of year lol.

Feeling rubbish too and just wishing the next few months away lol.

@hopefulsunshine11 still very unwell. Sore throat, runny nose, coughing up all sorts and very weak. DP is also very very unwell. Both of us have had ambulance come to check us out because I was concerned about 02 levels having been hospitalised with pneumonia before. I'm not as ill as I was then so I'm just glad about that. I'm just taking paracetamol for the fever every 4 hours and trying to eat when I can but I can't taste or smell anything.

Was meant to be meeting family today to tell them about my pregnancy but my mum is going to do it for me. I've not really been in the mood to be glad that I'm 12+6 and the first trimester is over tomorrow. Don't even feel pregnant anymore or happy about it because I'm so ill. Just keep thinking the worst

@littlecontis I'm looking for a baby jogger city mini it's meant to be a fab double and fits through a standard size door even though it's a side by side, they're quite expensive brand new though so I'll get a second hand one. If you add me on fb (pic attached) I'll add you to the fb group 🥰

@stuntbubbles we didn't find out the sex either with my son. It was the best thing ever. Such a lovely surprise as everyone expected a girl and it really helped me during labour. The two name things is a bit of a pain though. We won't find out this time either. There really isn't any need. We have all neutral first born sizes. I love the guessing and wondering what they are as well xx

New to the thread. Due date somewhere between boxing day and news years day.

Totally unplanned, but embracing it and going with it.

Mostly I'm nauseous, can't eat anything I used to, exercise exhausts me (I used to work out two hours a day). I have a wee bump, boobs have got bigger and I'm suffering awful heart burn. So all pretty normal I guess!

Most of my energy has been focused on setting up savings account, looking for a house with my rather shocked boyfriend, and checking if all the symptoms are normal 😅😅😅

Eating has gone mad, I can't get enough of slush puppies, fresh berries and fruit, oranges.

Morning everyone! Is anyone else getting really vivid dreams just now? I had a dream last night I found a rat in a massive pot of soup, and the dream was just me using different utensils to try and remove it. Completely normal...

@Tofu35 yes me! Last night I had a dream I was breastfeeding my baby! Was a breeze 😂😂

I’m getting my favourite and only good pregnancy symptom, orgasm dreams. Which wake me up but it’s not a bad wake-up

Apparently in the 2nd trimester I am unbelievably hungry! I've just went to the shop for a rustlers burger and a family size bar of galaxy which I am going to eat right now! It's 11am 🙈😂

Yes the dreams are hitting me that way too. Last night I dreamt I lost my partner, couldn't find him and spent the entire dream searching for him to wake up in a panic and he was still asleep next to me 😂🙈.

12 week scan today put me 3 days ahead! So new due date of the 7/12! 😁 told my in laws who's were being surprised! 😂

Just been to A&E at 13w 3 because when I woke this morning I had a gush feeling which turned out to be blood. I'm still spotting now so need keep a close eye but I'm not cramping. They've said I have a urinary infection but I have no symptoms whatsoever! Also booked in to see gynae tomorrow so hopefully they'll scan me. I'm so worried. Only had my 12 week scan on the 20th. 😢

Has anyone told their work yet? Now I've had 12 week scan I want to tell them soon. My boss is lovely so I know it will be fine but still really nervous!
