Take care @KokoNights ! This is a heartbreaking news. Hope you will have your rainbow baby one day. Sending you love ❤️

@stuntbubbles nice to hear there isn’t much to worry about with the products. 😊

lovesT · 27/05/2022 18:55

Sorry Kokonights 😔 I missed this, please look after yourself. All the best for you with the future.

Amphibian94 · 27/05/2022 20:05

So much love to you Kokonights... I know the pain, take time to heal xx

RSmamaa · 27/05/2022 20:13

Hope you're all ok!! Find it hard to keep up on here. My cravings still haven't subsided. I've been eating so unhealthy too. We had chicken pasta for dinner and I just couldn't stomach much of it so sent OH to get the goods

RSmamaa · 27/05/2022 20:18

@KokoNights so so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of strength x

tasha4eva10 · 27/05/2022 20:25

Had our scan today and baby is measuring exactly as he/she should be, sticking their arm up in the air and stretching the legs out which I thought was quite funny for 9 weeks!

Sickness after meals is still bad and feeling really off atm does anyone have any tips?

KokoNights sending you so much love and hope your rainbow baby finds you when you are ready 💐

@candyflossxox welcome! Lovely to have you here

@AG96 snap with the results and happy for you. The relief is immense right? We can finally tell our families today 😊

Mommabear20 · 28/05/2022 07:44

So sorry to hear of KokoNights loss :(

Got my scan in 2 days which I'm excited about 😊

The house is an absolute mess right now so that's the challenge for the day! Tidy the house faster than the kids make more mess! 😂

Tofu35 · 28/05/2022 09:21

Husband visited his family last night and his mum launched into 100 questions about prams, cribs, names etc. He started asking me the same questions when he got home.
I said to him I'd like to just focus on the present just now and focus on having a healthy pregnancy, all the purchasing chat can wait a few months, you know when I'm not retching after eating a piece of toast and we've had some scans.

Small grumble post for you all!

littlecontis · 28/05/2022 09:55

@Tofu35 the last thing you need is to be asked a million questions!!

Having said that, we have bought a pram! Saw a bargain and asked our friend to go check it out and bought it for us (up north and we're in Surrey)

Told a friend that we will be meeting today about our baby and turned out she has kept a lot of her baby stuff so we might buy something off her. I do feel like it's way too early but we will see what she has and assess what we need.

Has anyone bought anything for their first baby?

RhiRhi1996 · 28/05/2022 10:07

@littlecontis I bought a baby room & bath thermometer! I've been browsing sites for things but don't want to buy anything big like a pram/cot incase something goes wrong. And clothes, I don't really like the unisex baby clothing as much, so I would rather wait until I know the sex to buy that stuff!

I also know my parents will buy some things, and also other family members, so I would wait off to see what I got as well to avoid over buying :)

BuchananBaby · 28/05/2022 10:53

@Mommabear20 my house is a riot too my plan is to sort it today but I've got caught up watching greys anatomy and eating chocolate 🙈😂

@littlecontis if there's a deal you're better getting it! I'm needing a double buggy so I'm on the hunt for that even if I don't need it until December 🙈

@RhiRhi1996 don't buy clothes except what you'll pack in babies hospital bag and muslins, we ended up with a mountain of clothes for DD from gifts and if you need more it's easy/cheap enough to go to the supermarket

BuchananBaby · 28/05/2022 10:54

Has anyone booked their gender scan? Mine is 3 weeks today 🥳🥰

stuntbubbles · 28/05/2022 10:58

Haven’t even had my dating scan yet! But won’t be finding out the sex; didn’t last time either. It was such a lovely moment finding out by seeing her for the first time as she was put on my chest, all warm and gross and sticky and new, like, “Oh! It’s YOU. Hello.” Just means a little extra admin thinking of two lots of names but that’s it really.

Chanel05 · 28/05/2022 11:56

So sorry Koko to hear your news Sad.

My dating scan isn't for another 2 and a half weeks either!

I will be finding out the sex though. After my dating scan, I'll book a scan for 16 weeks. With my dd I had a private blood test at 9 weeks so I already knew by this point that she was a girl! Im looking forward to finding out the sex in a different way. We aren't going to do a gender reveal party or anything but said we would buy a cannon to do at home with us and dd, just for the three of us to enjoy.

AG96 · 28/05/2022 12:09

We will be finding out the sex and all I have bought is 3 unisex sleep suits after my dating scan. Just because I was excited after seeing the scan lol

DP has come down with COVID now and we both have it bad. I'm still struggling and he can't look after me now so it's awful. Going to try and get a reassurance scan once I'm recovered because this has been so brutal on my body that I'm really worried about baby 😔

BuchananBaby · 28/05/2022 12:18

We didn't find out the sex with DD and I must admit it was amazing just me and my partner knowing we had a daughter for an hour before grandparents were phoned but this time DP is desperate to know and I think practically it makes sense especially if I need to dig out DD's old clothes from the loft 😂 we're going to do a cannon (not my thing) but we're going to have a family bbq and surprise the families with the sex as I know that would make them so happy we've told them we won't find out until the anomaly scan so it'll be a nice surprise 🥰

Tofu35 · 28/05/2022 13:32

Are any of the Scottish posters here going to get (or have received previously) the baby box? While I'm grumpy about buying things, I'm looking forward to getting the baby box!

BuchananBaby · 28/05/2022 13:59

@Tofu35 I got the baby box last year with DD and it was fab you get so much in it but felt I didn't need half of it, we didn't use bath thermometer or anything just used our elbows so I passed quite a lot on, the clothes are adorable though 🥰 not going to get one this time as I still have all the bits we kept for DD

Sdoubleyou · 28/05/2022 14:02

@AG96, if it reassures you a little, I had Covid at just over 6 weeks and it was quite bad. I was bedridden for two days and on the couch for another two. I had a scan at 7w and 10w and it was fine. It felt like my body chose to protect the baby and throw me to the wolves. But I would do the same (reassurance scan). Hope you feel better soon!

AG96 · 28/05/2022 14:58

@Sdoubleyou thank you that is reassuring. Just can't wait to feel normal again!

RSmamaa · 28/05/2022 15:54

@BuchananBaby yes it's booked for 5+ weeks away but I'm only 10+4. So excited to find out what were having. I'd love another boy as I'd love to see how alike they would look and he is so calm and chilled. I equally would love a girl just so we had one of each and I love the name we have for a girl!
