I find it impossible to remember who to tag on Mumsnet 🙈
@lovesT - I think it's possible. I was unsure but I might also be feeling baby move at 10 weeks but I thought maybe I was just imagining it. But scan yesterday showed baby kicking and wiggling around a lot so I think it could be baby. This is my second too and it feels just like it did at 15 weeks with my daughter. Who knows. Nice to think it could be them.
Re: symptoms.
My first pregnancy was a MMC and I had nausea all the way till the 12 week scan and sore boobs. But baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks.
Second pregnancy I had my daughter, and I was less nauseous, but it did tail off around 11 weeks (I think) - although I was physically sick with her.
This pregnancy, symptoms started at 6 weeks ish and I've had constant all day nausea at times, but last two days it's tailed right off and I finally feel like a human again. Baby was thriving at a scan yesterday (10 weeks) and we could see the placenta so hopefully that's why symptoms are tailing off now.
Multiple friends have been pregnant in the past / are pregnant now, and reported that "they felt no different" in their first trimester. I am one of the few of my close friends/family that has actually had a form of morning sickness.
In summary, I don't think symptoms mean much at all tbh, whether they stay or go or you have extreme ones or not. For me, the only thing that was "odd" in my first pregnancy was I spotted (a lot). And I haven't in subsequent pregnancies. But there are also countless women even in this group who have spotted and are growing healthy babies.
So symptoms, or no symptoms, try not to stress. (Easier said than done, I know - I haven't even followed my own advice at all times 🙈)
And I am wildly behind - but sorry to all of those who are no longer on this journey right now. Wishing you all the best for future pregnancies. It sucks. x
