Oops! We filled up the last one quicker than we could make a new thread! I'll try and tag people so we can all keep chatting here.

@lovesT yes! It was my birthday yesterday and I've just had a huge slice of chocolate cake and it hasn't even touched the sides 🙈😂

I’ve had two and a half bacon sandwiches today……. 😩😬😬

Has anyone else had trapped gas? I was in pain last night with back pain from my shoulder blades down to my bottom. It felt like a muscle pain and like pressure where I needed to pass wind but couldn't. The back pain has gone but I still have that bloated feeling and can't pass wind 😳. I am 7 weeks and majority of my symptoms have gone. I've been getting that niggling stomach pain again like cramps. Not sure if it is all connected. I have my midwife appt next week.

@hopefulsunshine11 yes me! I’m 6+3 and trapped wind has been plaguing me for a couple of weeks now. Some days it’s not so bad but I have been in pain a few times like you describe.

@lovesT I'm not sure if I'm particularly hungrier but I am eating more. I think I'm making a conscious effort to eat more than I was before as I know last time if I didn't eat I felt a little sick. I lived off toast and crumpets last time and went off meat in the first 12 weeks. Today I'm eating mini eggs and barbecue chicken skewers

Not so much trapped wind with me, more like horrible farts 🫢 once again, thank goodness I work from home just now!

Had a morning without nausea, so tried to quickly do all the big thinking tasks before it got to lunchtime. It's now kicking in again, hoping for some boring zoom meetings so my camera can be off or some long emails I can read at my own leisure.

@TradedAtlanta I am in the same position. My periods have been non existent for a while but My expected date in around Christmas I think! Looking forward to my scan just to know and know that the wee one is ok!

It's not all the time but seems to be at night! I'm hoping it's a good sign and hormones!

Just can't wait to get to the 12 weeks! 🙏🙏

We had an early scan… we are expecting TWINS!!!
Due date 8th December but I am sure they will need to arrive earlier.

I've not been feeling as bad today, still slight waves of nausea and very sore boobs but don't feel as exhausted which is nice, actually tidied our bedroom a bit! But definitely a bit more hungry which is nice! After Tuesday's scan I think surely that's all okay, does anyone else feel slightly better at around 7 weeks?

@lovesT I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow and so far this week has been better than last. Last week nausea hit me harrrrrrrrrd!

@BuchananBaby I cannot decide whether to have a scan at 8 weeks or wait until 10!!

8 weeks - I can get some assurance if I can see a heartbeat, but what if...the what if?

10 weeks - I am going away for a weekend on a girls trip at 11weeks so getting a scan just before then would give me some confidence in letting more people know

This is my first pregnancy - eeeeek. We have only been trying to conceive for 2 months so this is all A LOT!! Feel so blessed and taking it all in at the moment but twin 1 & 2 are measuring as expected at 6 weeks 5 days.

@littlecontis we decided on 8 weeks we done the same with my daughter as it broke it up a bit, the mc rate reduces to like 3% if you see a hb at 8 weeks so that made us feel so much better but totally up to you and what suits I'm having mine on Sat so I'll be 8+2

@lovesT I was really struggling last week but seems to be a bit better in my 7th week so it must be a thing long may it continue 🤞 although I'm in the office tomorrow and the thought of being on a train is triggering my nausea 🙈

My scan today they both had little heartbeats. Don't wait unless you want to!

’Feeling’ more pregnant today, I am absolutely ravenous have felt dizzy all day, lots of cm (sorry tmi) and my farts could go through a persons soul 😂. My midwife also called to make a booking in appointment for 2 weeks time...think it’s starting to sink in now just hoping crumb #2 is going to hang in there ❤️

I had a little bit more spotting yesterday which has made me anxious but I have a scan on Friday so crossing everything all is Ok. I've had a bit of queasiness over the last week. Digestive biscuits have become my friend!

My mood swings and nausea both seem to have settled today. Yesterday I was craving crisps all day but it seems to have helped!

Is anyone else already thinking about new bras yet? My boobs have stayed swollen and I'm guessing they aren't going back down. Please send me your best comfy maternity bra suggestions! Bonus points if they look nice too 😂

@quinnbaby aw congratulations that's amazing news. I bet you were shocked. With it being your first pregnancy you won't know any different anyway so you'll be grand. I'm sure there's lots of Mumsnet and Facebook twin groups that can offer loads of advice.

@littlecontis I've booked a scan for just under 10 weeks. I had one the same time with my son as we weren't sure my husband could come to the nhs one due to covid rules . This time I've booked it because I have a wedding at 11 weeks. I don't think I could have one any earlier just incase of all the what ifs even though I know full well you can see loads at 7/8 weeks I'd rather go later xx
