@TFMinx me! I feel really late to the party waiting for my scan as due 28th nov so only 10 weeks! My scan is on 16th may which still feels so far away. Having awful anxiety dreams and things at the moment too which isn't helping! Really hoping the nausea passes soon though, could just do with a day when I don't feel sick! 😬

xreadytoglow · 02/05/2022 16:35

@TFMinx I have mine tomorrow. Mixture of nerves and excitement .. mostly nerves though! Which is silly since I saw the baby two weeks ago but I don't think the nerves will ever really go away yet..
Glad everything was okay after your bleeding scare. I've had similar so I know the feeling 🙈

Anyone else waiting for their first scan? I had an early scan due to bleeding but fortunately everything was fine. I'm still nervous yet excited for my official first scan on Thursday though!

I'm currently 9+5 (due Nov 30th) so my 12 week scan is still a few weeks off yet. I still have 3 weeks to wait before my appointment 😫

I'm excited at the moment because it's something nice to look forward to but i'm sure the nerves will start creeping in the closer it gets. I know there is never a "safe" time in pregnancy, but I feel like i've been waiting for 12 weeks. It feels like such a big milestone.

TFMinx · 02/05/2022 17:49

Good luck for upcoming scans! My reception class has been overrun with chicken pox the last couple of weeks and last night my son started with them. Fortunately I had them as a child, but it doesn't stop me worrying. At least I don't have much longer to wait and hopefully be able to share good news with wider family (and stop trying to hide my growing stomach!)

smiles39 · 02/05/2022 18:10

@TFMinx I’m still waiting too. No scan date yet and currently 10+4. Saw them 2 weeks ago when I had an early scan and everything was fine but still desperate for that reassurance at 12 weeks so you’re not alone!

VolcanicProtectorMan · 02/05/2022 18:18

@TFMinx My toddler has had chicken pox just and my parents didn’t know if I’d had it so I had to have a blood test. Fortunately I’ve got immunity. Seems to be everywhere at the moment!

BabyBird20 · 02/05/2022 18:27

@TFMinx my son had chicken pox a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I'd had it in childhood but it's really stressful isn't it! 😬

roobearbaby · 02/05/2022 18:57

My scan is on Friday when I will be 12+5. It honestly feels like forever and I can't decide if I am more excited or nervous!

OtiMama · 02/05/2022 19:23

I had an early scan to date me roughly and it was internal, you could see the heart beating really well but didn't look like a baby. My actual dating scan isn't until 19th May, I should be 13 weeks by then. I'm also going to be due late November. My son was late though, so wondering if it could end up being a December baby!

Bramblecrumble21 · 02/05/2022 19:48

I've got my first scan on Wednesday at 13+5. Last time my period dates matched the scans but she grew quickly I had a 3 week early baby so I could easily have an October bab.

My DD had chicken pox a couple of months ago. I'm glad she's got it now not with a newborn, we were planning on paying for the vaccine if she didn't catch it by the summer though as she's starting school in September.

LEBee92 · 02/05/2022 20:32

I’m still waiting for my scan - not til the 19th but I had an early scan due to bleeding on Friday and fortunately all was okay with the little bean but super keen to get past that 12 week mark.

TFMinx · 02/05/2022 22:19

In my early scan I was moved forward by a week, so on Thursday (when my scan is) I'll be 13 weeks, unless it changes again

Kathno4 · 03/05/2022 08:07

14 weeks on Thursday 🫣 times flying, I’m so anxious and can’t explain why

Cocobeau · 03/05/2022 09:03

My 12 weeks scan is next Monday and feels like it's been a lifetime of waiting. I've had m blood tests done already so I'm so nervous they will highlight something. Desperately hoping my phone does not ring this week.
It's awkward timing as we are keeping things mostly secret until we know things look ok on Monday but I'm away for a hen party this weekend. The bride (my BF) knows but I'm going to end up having to tell a load of women I barely know before I've had the scan and before my own family knows.

Chellooo · 03/05/2022 09:31

Sorry for the lack of response over the weekend ladies...I've finally got a scan with the EPU this afternoon as I'm still bleeding (well dark brown discharge) and passing some clots. Spoke with the midwife on the phone when confirming apt and she seems to think it is a miscarriage. Been trying to process it all weekend, and think I'm coming to terms with it, but know the scan confirming will be absolutely horrific. My anxiety is through the roof and I just want it all to go away...
Didn't want to put a downer on the page but didn't want to not update....
Absolutely delighted for all you ladies reaching your 12 weeks and seeing your little bubbas, hopefully one day I can join you all xx

AbbiL0u · 03/05/2022 09:32

So excited for you all who have scans coming up in the next few weeks! I feel like a whole new person since mine with the relief all is okay, really hope all goes well and you’re all feeling okay so far!

I am 13 + 3 now and feeling pregnant now, I think the tired cloud is lifting, and this morning I woke up feeling like I can start to see my bump, it was to one side as I slept on my side and felt so exciting! How are you all with your symptoms?

Cocobeau · 03/05/2022 10:01

I'm so sorry to you @Chellooo and all the other ladies on this group who have been through the same. I can't begin to imagine how awful this must be for you. Please take care of yourself.

AbbiL0u · 03/05/2022 10:22

@Chellooo I am so sorry, my post was at the worst time. I really hope this afternoon goes as well as it possibly can and that you have support around you, really hope you’re as okay as you can be and huge hugs to you 💕

roobearbaby · 03/05/2022 17:02

@chellooo I'm so sorry. Please keep us posted and take care of yourself ❣️

Chellooo · 03/05/2022 17:53

That's me out unfortunately ladies, went for a scan but heart had stopped beating, so little bean was just not meant for this world. I'm booked in for surgery to put an end to this chapter, and as much as we're heartbroken we know it's all meant to be.

Wishing you all soo much love and luck and magical baby vibes with all your pregnancys and hope you give your little bubs an extra squeeze for me when they make their appearances.

Good luck everyone xx

OtiMama · 03/05/2022 18:00

@Chellooo sending you so much love and I hope the surgery goes smooth as it can for you. I met someone through one of these groups last time I had my son in 2020 and she had the same very sad loss at similar time but went on only a few months later to get pregnant and have a beautiful girl. Hope next time is your turn x

AnxiousJane · 03/05/2022 18:30

I'm so sorry to those going through such a tough time. I've just caught up on the posts and it's just heart breaking. Love to all those that need it ❤ So sorry @Chellooo I hope surgery goes well x

Casper94 · 04/05/2022 07:10

Thinking of you @chellooo I hope you've got a good support system around you 💐💞

Cruz86 · 04/05/2022 10:49
