Actually nearly happy cried at my appointment today. They're so happy with how things are going so far that I don't need to go next week, they're now moving to fortnightly appointments instead of weekly! 😁 Obviously I was warned that could change again at any point, but neither them nor I thought we'd even get this far with things going so smoothly so it's a massive positive (considering Im just days away from this time last pregnancy I was kept in hospital for the remainder of the pregnancy and on 4hourly monitoring)! I think after all our losses this is life giving us our wee bit of goodness thrown back in our way by making this pregnancy go so well 💕 Doing a little happy dance 💃
@larrythelizard I did the exact same yesterday too and asked for the good stuff for heartburn 😂 Picked up my prescription today so hopefully will have some relief from it tonight
@kaylsd glad to hear pooch is on the mend. I love asda sales on baby clothes, I tend to do it online as theres never a great selection in my actual shop. As for the weight gain, with the exception of my booking appointment the midwife has never weighed me again nor commented on any weight gain so I wouldn't worry too much about it. As @Juno231 said there's calculators online with guides but everyone gains differently so as long as you're not eating for 2 everyday I wouldnt worry about it too much.
@whatwonder baby moon sounds fab tho I'm well impressed with the amount you managed to walk, my back aches just standing doing the cooking these days let alone walking for miles so well done you!
@Minster2012 that's absolute madness on how early you need to get a nursery place 😱 There are only 2 nurseries near me that start early enough for me to get to work on time, I put DS name down 3 months before he started and I thought that was me being super organised to make sure he got a space but nurseries down your way with that high a waiting list is crazy 🤯
@paintfairy baby neither knows nor cares where its things come from so don't feel bad! The majority of my stuff is second hand too, if I pick up some wee clothes it's from the sales, asda or matalan you can usually get wee tops or outfits on sale for about £3 so I usually can't resist picking up some wee things when I see them but the majority is either bought 2nd hand or hand me downs from friends. It's not as easy once they get older as the 2nd hand things start to dwindle as kids are in the clothes longer so they're not kept as good but the first year or two they grow out of clothes so fast that most 2nd hand clothes are practically new when you get them so it definitely makes sense to save some cash and get them that way! Same with other baby items for all the timeframe they're used in you can pick up things 2nd hand for over half the price of new even tho they've barely been used - it's a no brainer for me!
Happy birthday @Vil10 hope you're being spoiled rotten 🥳
Is it your birthday too today @2020mission, if so happy birthday. Hope you get out for your meal with your mum later 🤞
Nice line progression @BellatrixK 😁
Neat bump shots @paintfairy @juno231 I'm in complete feel like a whale territory now.
