Bloody great news @DKDK123 - I am also not a massive believer in the growth scans in utero but in that's a massive difference between DS and Emily. Also sounds like such a sensible approach from your medical team.

@bez91 your new boss sounds great, someone finally pulling their finger out! Ha I hadn't noticed that about dogs and cats...! DS did have a meltdown earlier because he wanted 'a big dog to live in our house with us'...😂

@paintfairy they are pretty cute when small tbh!

I'm feeling way worse today than yesterday and between hormones and illness I keep having a little cry about what a good dad DH is to DS and how lucky this other one is going to be to have him...he's going to think im mental when I tell him this a little bit later as he gets a bit bamboozled when I have lots of feelings!!

Days rolling into one… sleep deprivation… colicky baby… breastfeeding so DH decamped to spare room and actually sleeping 😡…. Trialling dairy free due to DD allergy and DS symptoms so hangry all the time wishing for cheese and cakes… remind me why I did this again?! #PrayForHaiyaa

Going to have a skim read to see what I’ve missed.

Evening ladies, I am so unhappy today, day 3 of perpetual spotting, nothing on pads though, big sore boobs, nausea and now.... gas like cramps, why the hell not!? Don’t think I am actually pregnant, it’ll be one of my unreliable fucked up periods, I’ll test in a week or when I stop spotting, or bleeding or whatever just in case, but.... also had to raise hell today as the driver of ds school bus decided he couldn’t be bother to go to the last stop of the route and left him and his friend at the kerb of a main road, meaning they had to cross a road to get where people where actually waiting for them, they tried to give excuses, but really should know better than argue with an autism mum, I manage to do it all without actually swearing or calling the fucking idiotic excuse of a driver any names for his appalling unjustifiable laziness, I am not done, I need to get the school, the council and social services that organises the service on the case too, but that’ll be tomorrow, they are waiting to see if the other parents will be complaining too, well she will, cos the first I did after leaving that office was call her, duh!

It's really good they are keeping such a close eye on you @DKDK123 and def take it week by week but she's so 💪🏻. I'm going pretty crazy in the nursery room it seems 😆

So DH inspected my start on the painting & was like "so you can tell you've been watching interior design shows, we are going maximalist then?" I said yep well if we don't like it then it's basically being pulled down. At which point he pointed out only half of that room is going so maybe dark teal wasn't the best idea. Shhhhhh you man

Can’t beat being treated to 💩 all over the kitchen at 5 this morning, not seen any more since! & she’s ate some chicken and rice tonight so hopefully it’s a one off! We was set to go to Leeds and try mowglis I don’t know if anyones tried it before but it looks nice and do abit of shopping but with the dog being abit up and down we’ve opted for something more local in the evening as the plasterer is in all day tomorrow doing the what will be nursery room so we have to stay in until tea time until he finishes for the day 🙈 however DH has placed balloons and banners all way round the house for me tonight as I was saying at work to him tomorrows another day really so he’s trying his best to make me feel special 🙈 the cutie!

@Franklydear what an arsehole I think there would have been some not very nice names called to that bus driver! Hopefully AF shows soon or maybe a quiet little BFP moment, my body used to play havoc with my periods where I didn't know if I was coming or going with them so I sympathise with it, absolute pisses you off when you have symptoms but no show! Sending hugs xx

Names weren’t called @kaylsd I need this bus and need this sorted but I did put in writing that he put an autistic child in imminent danger, we will request that he is move from this route so ds doesn’t have to worry about it, and one of the supervisors, once I turn up the accusatory language, did say that he wouldn’t have done that as it can mean your licence, then back track to they cannot tell me what happens to the driver, but honestly I don’t care as far as he is no longer my problem, the other mom is also complaining and I'll involve council agencies as well, so I don’t see how they can brush this off.

I also had steak last night but venison. As we basically have a full deer in the freezer from last weekend's DH activities I think we might be eating venison for a while 😜

Noticed my boobs are doing things today, clear liquid stuff comes out if I squeeze them, I swear this didn't happen until waaaay later with DS.

Got a huge craving for an ASDA create your own pizza (despite usually making my own blah blah) so guess where I'm off to this morning...

@Haiyaa thank you lovely 😊 we're good! DD is now nocturnal tho so that's fun 🥴 I totally get the days rolling into one, I always have to ask Dh what day it is now 😂 can't believe your Dh went to the spare room...Actually I can 😂 I keep telling mine to but he often stays, he's gone to the spare room once so far. We've said tho that when he goes bk to work he'll have to sleep in there on the days he goes into the office, so twice a week at mo. He has a fair commute so makes sense.

I'm starting off my birthday celebrations tonight (birthday on Tuesday) and going to a steak/grill place with OH, my parents and sister and her OH! In work Monday morning then OH is taking me away somewhere over night on Monday afternoon! Also it's my 20 week scan on Wednesday and the closer it's getting the more scared I am that something will be wrong😩 however I'm going to try and enjoy this weekend and the next few days!! Also saw something about the met office predicting this will be one of the hottest years with temps as high as 28 starting early April, typical when lots of us are going to be due in summer, dreading being absolutely huge in the heat😂

20 weeks scan last week went perfectly. Little Madame was super active. No resistance in my Doppler study and no notches either.

Currently hitting the 21 week mark today! Nearly less than 100 days to go 🥳🥳🥳

Yesterday DH had #2 op on his hand after being assaulted on duty 3 weeks before DS was born in 2020. Turns out his ligament which is meant to hold his thumb is just about as useful as an elastic band. Whilst under they were able to lay his thumb across the BACK of his hand and it stayed there. 🤮

DS has had another Paeds rapid referral for gut issues 🥺

So - the steak was good! I had a tbone and made the most of it! Regretted it later though. I left the restaurant looking 9 months pregnant and feeling less than great. I need to stop eating big meals. Obviously I also had dessert. 🤣 I'm even worse today mind- full on trapped wind this afternoon and it's killing me! 🤬
I picked up a baby clothes bundle this morning. I think I have enough vests and sleepsuits now for both newborn and 0-3. Basics are covered. Also have a few scratch mats and hats.
I had a letter for a consultant appointment for a week on Tuesday. How can I need to see someone again so soon? Only had my scans on 4th? I don't want to go.....

@Minster2012 decorating looks artistic. Kills me to even paint a wall and get a straight line up to the ceiling. 🤣 Having said that- despite the fact we have replastered, the walls now already look like they need papering because they have cracks. So possibly painting is over. I can't wallpaper either mind.
@feliznavidad2 I've always been able to get liquid from my right one, for some reason. I can't bear to touch them mind mostly as they hurt! Nipples particularly. @becarefuloutthere 🤣 buy a hamster and embrace it? Or an owl. I suppose its OK if you can sleep during the day? She needs to learn to tell the time! 🤣

Ah don't worry about seeing the consultant, they might just talk about the "risk factors" like it being an ivf pregnancy and age, that's what mine did. The only thing that came out of it, was not wanting me to go beyond 41 weeks.

@franklydear shocking about the bus situation, I'm surprised you managed to keep your cool and be angry without using all the swear words that were running inside your head, I know I couldn't! Hope it's all sorted now.

I fell out with DH tonight, can't decide if I'm extra hormonal or if he's just a knob but we'll go with the latter because a pregnant lady is never wrong 😂 Stormed off upstairs with a bag of aero bubbles instead of having dinner and ate the entire bag 🐷 They were delicious at the time but by god am I regretting it now can't sleep for heartburn and feeling so sicky. So now DH will need to put up with a very tired hormal grumpy me tomorrow, isn't he in for a treat ......serves him right for being a knob anyways.

@DKDK123 I know, I am quite proud, I haven’t finish creating the shit storm yet, they’ll get back to me at some point they say, they are very wrong if they think that’s all I have to say, the key is going to be if the driver still does the route and god help him if he does it again, both boys are now crystal clear that they are to refuse to leave outside a stop, my childcare are told this is not to happen and the mum of the other boy collects herself everyday and she won’t keep her cool. Hope you can make up with dh, and don’t have such terrible heartburn, I remember it well...
My alleged af lasted a couple of hours and back to spotting, for the 5th day!, I am just going to ignore the whole thing for a while now....

@paintfairy we went to Miller and Carter just before I found out I was pregnant and had this huge sharing steak selection- most of it rare! Glad I had it before I knew, but I had t bone then for the first time and it was delicious! Hope you feel better now.
