@DKDK123 so pleased you are both ok & keep channelling that zen, she's happily plotting away on her own level 😂looking at pictures of babies help harvesting??? Witchcraft 😂
@bez91 it's good right to be discharged to have one more appointment then discharge hopefully to midwife? I think. Lot of us are realistic about things like birth plans being very flexible & loose! Yes we did get the school for X which is great as it's not actually our catchment despite only 2 miles away, it was the catchment for our old house & he goes there one morning a week & loves it so we are pleased. I've just been accosted by a nursery mum though about a leaving present & I've avoided nursery WhatsApp group for years now she's just bloody got my number 😬
@Lexber are you home now?!! They look adorable!! Your OH is a gem. I ALWAYS say to ppl when in hospital & the doctors say "you can go today" it means about 8 hours later as you wait for meds
@feliznavidad2 ha nope I've not got 5 full syringes yet I've got 5 syringes to try, not tried them yet (next week maybe!) I'm hoping @bez91 will tell me how by then! Your break away looks and sounds fab and loving how clever your DS is!
@InkyPaper 2lbs is great I think, ignore her. Have you considered eating more fruit & veg?? Shit well why didn't someone tell you that years ago ffs cos it's that easy! A scan date yessssss and less than a week away!
Also think @larrythelizard is a hero for HOU g to the gym still. Did you get any further with trips away?
Oh yes how was Belfast @Kate105
@whatwonder a group zoom physio session!! Lord this gets better 😂😂
@Franklydear sorry AF came & early too that's shit
Was a bit AWOL yesterday & thank you to the lovelies who checked in, was just feeling v shaky, ill & down. Anyway had my blood flow cord scan, amniotic fluid check & then consultant appointment. All good on scans, amniotic fluid up a bit so they are happy with that, no more of those needed. She did say "wow this baby is RIGHT down & really squished up" so I guess she is a bit big & sitting on my bowels & nerves which will be the pain. The consultant appointment however was useless. Didn't see an endocrine consultant this time so when I said I was feeling shaky & didn't know whether it was due to my lack of cortisol she said "well I don't know anything about that so maybe up your dose?" I said about 💩💩constantly since Friday & she said "not my area you need to speak to your colorectal team" (which I haven't got one I was discharged from in 2013) so she told me it was up to me to manage my medication for that. She kept saying "I want to make sure we get that sciatic pain under control" as I was visibly in pain & jumping up with pain but then she gave me nothing & said "but that's upto the physio"
She said a number of times "well it's only a few weeks".
Right great thanks so basically manage all my issues myself & get on with it. I was crying in the appointment cos I was just like eh? Then had a big cry with DH, had a bath & pulled my big girl pants on.
The one thing is she's put in for c section on 16th may as the earliest they will do it which is 39+1 & when I thought so that's my aim, get through the days til then.
On another note I just saw my friends hubby drop his son off & he, their baby is now 3 weeks old, was like "oh god it's awful, I'm so tired & I think I stink there's a smell following me😝" I was like nooooo you are meant to tell me it's all fine! He said the one thing someone said to them that's true is "it'll get better, last week was worse than this & im sure in 6 months it will be great" 😜🤪oh god what are we doing????
Also titles @larrythelizard, wafting, harvesting, leaking, 💩& wtf is a birth plan anyway?? Just a thought!
