Happy Easter Monday everyone🐤🐰 hope you've all had a lovely weekend!!
We went out for a curry last night and when we got home I felt so so full and uncomfortable, anyway got to 5 this morning and I was tossing and turning feeling a bit grim with bad acid reflux, got up at 5:30 and threw up sooo much, felt horrendous, OH brought me up some water and paracetamol before he went to work so I had those and then managed to get back to sleep for an hour or so, woke up, went to brush my teeth and threw up again🤢 back in bed now with on off stomach ache and headache!! Worrying it could be food poisoning but I was sick 12 hours after we'd had food and everyone else who was there is fine! I know there's been a stomach bug going round so don't know if it was that or a combination of acid reflux and the curry just not going down well or agreeing with me, either way I'm feeling extremely sorry for myself☹️

@Juno231 not surprised you're tired after all those steps!! Hope you're having a lovely time!

@Lexber your babies are just beautiful!! I'm sure Elsie's head scan will come back perfect and hopefully you'll all get to go home! So glad overall that you're all doing well❤️

@Minster2012 hope you had a lovely bbq yesterday! Loved the bump pic too!! Sciatica really is the devil, that's what I had my operation for a few years ago, all I can recommend is a shakti mat, it did wonders for me!! I hope it eases up soon for you! Also that appointment is ridiculous, and phone appointments are so pointless when it's a physical thing!!

@feliznavidad2 sorry you've been feeling so down and anxious! But good that your midwife is getting you into see someone and hopefully they can help🤞🏼 sounds like a spa weekend was just what you needed!

Minster2012 · 18/04/2022 09:48

@feliznavidad2 so pleased you are enjoying your time away, and have a plan to up the meds to help the anxiety. Vasectomy is good, I think that's a route we are going down too, I didn't realise til recently it then takes 80 ejaculations or around 3 months for the swimmers to become defunct 🙄

@Juno231 that's some walking goodness, I was basically immobile from yesterday afternoon as I just couldn't move cos of the sciatica...enjoy it! Yeah I think I'd like a bit of a plan for the things like vit K, skin to skin, feeding things like that.

@Lexber so pleased that Elsie is flying through her checks. I'm sure she will do exactly the same with the head scan 🤞🏻and with the feeding too. Kick that woman out get her into Labour ward! 😂

I'm struggling with a few things...the sciatica, was at MIL yesterday & was often shouting out in pain which wasn't good, could barely walk. I found a hot water bottle really helps though so that's good, I have the blood flow scanning/amniotic fluid check & then consultant app so will discuss then.

Also got a suspicious mole I'm worried about, I've sent pictures to my melanoma team after speaking to consultant last Thursday so I'm worried about that.

Also this baby is not a morning baby. Barely moved this morning but ok now. Argh it's so worrying

paintfairy · 18/04/2022 10:29

@Minster2012 I have to say a spa day at this point sounds amazing! I think I could happily do that. 😁 As for periods- I dunno, I was on contraception for forever and actually couldn't believe I'd missed so much of my life having no sex drive. I would never go back on it, although no periods was handy. Periods are often very different after pregnancy though, so you might find they are better?
@DKDK123 thanks for that! There's things you mention i didn't even know about. And @Juno231 all those things you mention about after I don't know about either. But why would I, if I'm just giving a blank page to write out what I want? 🤦‍♀️ Surely these things need to be discussed and explained to you?
@bez91 I quite like the idea of getting in a pool also. Sounds relaxing. 🤣 I would like to have that option.
@DKDK123 I know I'm going to be a terrible parent because no way would I be contemplating hiding eggs in the garden at 5.30-6am. Absolutely not. 🤣
@Lexber frustrating that you are still in hospital! Hopefully though she'll get given the all clear soon, it sounds like she's doing well otherwise. Theo maybe just isn't drinking enough, I suppose its so hard to tell what they are taking. But I'm sure he'll pick up once on extra. Its just unhelpful you are stuck in there whilst it's all being sorted out. As for the labour lady 🤭
@feliznavidad2 I walk through a sheep field every day, so I hope not! 🙈 I think rational thoughts just go out the window sometimes though and I'm not sure your brain works the same way when pregnant anyway? Mine appears to be not working much at all. 🤣 Maybe try to distract yourself with other things? Hopefully it'll pass. The more you worry about thinking about it, the worse it'll be, so not much else is really going to help at this point.
@Franklydear too much of 'mums' definitely can become overload!

I'm listening to DH trying to do a simple job upstairs. But obviously these things are never simple. So there's more ranting. Drives me bloody bonkers. 🤬
The night before last I barely slept, just couldn't breathe. Then last night was better until I woke up in the middle of the night too hot and really irritable and itchy. This does not look promising for the summer! 🙈 Who's idea was this? Took me an age to go back to sleep. The baby woke up too and was happily bouncing around. 🤣 I'm getting some much firmer punches at times too now.

Any recommendations for shoes to wear with these dresses i am going to have to resort to wearing? I struggle with shoes and comfort. I'm very much a trainers person!

Franklydear · 18/04/2022 11:12

@Lexber fingers crossed you can go home soon, and everything is well
@Juno231 my trip is opposite to yours, I don't think I've done 10000 steps since I arrived, it's Easter so lots of cake though
@Vil10 oh dear, it sounds like is the curry not agreeing with the reflux, so hopefully just annoying, get checked if you're worried
@Minster2012 those time scales are just ridiculous, and the phone appointment is to say we need to see you
@feliznavidad2 glad you're getting help, look after yourself, as my nana used to say nobody else will
@paintfairy I am also a trainer lady, ballerinas are a good alternative for me, I wouldn't do heels

Not much to report here, just lots of time with the siblings, my last day of wheels and tomorrow I go back again to my mum's, as my brother's family seem to be healthy again, and we can see them, worst timing COVID isolation ever, but all is well and we'll see everyone just in different order

Cd 21 and having the typical boob sore, heartburn and little cramps so hopefully af will wait until I am back home cos I really don't need it here

Minster2012 · 18/04/2022 11:26

@Franklydear I don't think I've done many steps either 😂😂and eaten lots of cake! Hope AF stays away til you get back

@paintfairy yeah nothing has been said for a birth plan for me either or any of those things. I'm hoping tomorrow might be discussed more. On the shoes, look at saltwater sandals. The comfiest things ever & I've got a few funky colours, I've got yellow, turquoise & rose gold. They are brilliant as they can go in water too, so I wear to the beach & keep on. when you get them you wear them in the shower then let them dry on your feet so they mould to your foot shape so no rubbing. Good for pregnancy too as you can then remould them & stretch them a bit. I wear with everything & I usually can't wear sandals as I've a high instep but I've walked miles & miles in mine. My DH exactly the same on the jobs, when we moved car seats around in my car he was blaspheming to high heaven sbout how to get baby seat in. I just kept saying "Just you tube it FFS"

Lexber · 18/04/2022 11:47

@feliznavidad2 that's exactly what they are doing later. I think it's more to tick a box as there don't appear to be any concerns towards it. Still a worry though!
@Vil10 🤞🏼 I'm
Getting ready for my own bed now. I've really hurt my ribs - god knows what I was doing in labour 🤣
@Minster2012 she's gone for an induction and magically as soon as they agreed to one her pain went away and she was happily packing her bags to go.., oh the silence is golden! Even a crying baby sounds nice compared to that... 🤣🤣

@paintfairy I think with Theo as he was breast and struggling with trapped wind it meant he wasn't hardly taking anything as he was on off the boob and crying in pain a lot. He is so much more settled with express milk and prem top up. Hopefully when he is weighed tomorrow he will have gained some back as he is taking your full feed every 3 hrs or so

I am hopeful @Franklydear especially for the girls to be able to meet their baby siblings! A is struggling to contain her excitement. Last night she made me cornflake buns and ushered Oh to bed to sleep as he looked tired 🤣

Vil10 · 18/04/2022 11:56

@paintfairy it was really warm last night, I couldn't get comfortable or sleep either! I'm a trainer person but love a good pair of sandals in summer!

@Franklydear I'm thinking that's the case! Glad your family seem to be coming out the other side of it and are feeling better! I hope AF stays away until you're home!

@Lexber oh I bet you are, nothing like you're own bed when you've been away from it for a few days! Hahaha maybe some funky shapes during labour??

So I tried drinking some water and ended up throwing up again🤢 and whilst squatting down to be sick in the toilet I ended up trickling a little, does this mean my vag squeezes aren't working🥴 I mean I was in a very low, wide stance position so that won't have helped the trickling! I started getting worried it was food poisoning so rang the birth centre and they said they isn't much they can do but asked if baby is moving which they are, so she said that's the main thing, said to make sure I keep trying to drink and eat some toast but if I continue to be sick throughout the day and get worse then to ring 111 or triage! I feel better for ringing and getting some reassurance, going to try some toast now and hopefully I'll start to feel better🤞🏼

Kate105 · 18/04/2022 14:28

Argh @Lexber fingers crossed you get home soon! Although sounds like you are doing amazingly 💪🏻

Yuck @Vil10 hope you're feeling better soon!

Lads, I'm excited. I'm actually going to the cinema tonight for the first time since the pandemic, never mind PTSD! Although I did have to ruin it for myself by inviting MIL to dinner first to say thank you for babysitting tonight... so ran round like a madwoman making shepherds pie during nap time today. I'm such a chump. Why can't I just ask someone to do me a favour without overcompensating in return?! 😂🙈

Also, I'm going to see Belfast. It better be worth it. Lots of nostalgia points (I'm from NI) but on the other hand it is Kenneth Branagh who I think is a bit wanky

bez91 · 18/04/2022 18:16

@feliznavidad2 your spa weekend sounds epic 😍 just as jealous of the naps! Glad the MW listened to you and hopefully your break away gives you a bit of natural respite from the anxiety too 💕

@Minster2012 it's not even a face to face appointment? Maybe that's the point that they just think oh she won't bother as she'll nearly have had the baby by then. Still not fun though ☹️ try and take a lot of breaks in between doing things. I also have a non-morning baby so I think it's ok and normal. From 4pm onwards it's party time until bedtime and the movement is starting to get a bit painful now.

@paintfairy just Lily Allen it with trainers and a dress, comfort is a must! I will ask my midwife tomorrow about feasibility of using a pool, I spent a lot of my slow labour with DD in the bath at home 😆

@Lexber fingers crossed all ok and you can get home soon. I hate the 3 day weight thing especially when babies are usually also exhausted from birth and struggle to feed. I'm sure all will come good!

@Vil10 ah no 😩 might just be that your digestive system is a bit more sensitive than normal. Hope you're starting to feel better!

Is anyone planning on colostrum harvesting? I want to just based on experience last time with DDs cardiac issues and jaundice and issues putting on weight because of those. Advice everywhere seems to conflict between being good to go from 36 weeks and from 37 weeks, I’ve got syringes so might give it a go tonight

larrythelizard · 18/04/2022 18:18

My mum was annoying in patches @bez91 - I am a bit of a knob though and call her out on the more ridiculous things she comes out with.

How exciting DD had a sleepover @bez91 - DS looks like he's about 5 this weekend so I know how you heel (some epic tantrums worthy of his actual 2 year old age though!)

Ooh lush @feliznavidad2 my neck of the woods! Extra anxiety makes sense because it is an anxious time as well as more body to dilute the meds.

Oh mate sciatica sounds so painful @Minster2012. I'm 100% better but DH now ill 🤦🏻‍♀️

So jealous @Juno231!

🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 for discharge tomorrow @Lexber and that the woman next to you gets taken off the delivery! Oh I see she's gone, hopefully bed stays vacant until you're ready to go!

Oh no @Vil10 hope it's short lived and nothing too bad, I've had enough sickness bugs for the whole bus just recently! I also had issues with wee, I have upped my compliance with the NHS Squeezy app!

Same here @Minster2012 - baby not very noticeable in the morning, also when I'm busy I can't feel it but am only 22w so to be expected I guess. Every time I think I'm going to ring the MW line baby has a wriggle. Scan on weds anyway.

I'm a dress and trainers person @paintfairy unless it's warm enough for sandals!

Hoping AF stays away @Franklydear!

Shame I don't live near you @Kate105 if that's how you repay babysitters! Enjoy the cinema!

I've (mainly) had a lovely weekend with DS - my Mum was quite overbearing with him but he soon made his feelings known 'Mummy, stop Gran looking at me' 🤣🤣🤣. But we've seen big Easter eggs, had some family round and then he went on a couple of rides at a fairground thing which he loved (I also got to go on the horse carousel thing with him!)

Have an almost constant stitch when i do more than a pottery walk at the moment which is annoying and I assume means baby is growing again (a good thing), not sure how that's going to go being back at the gym tomorrow though - didn't go at all last week!

Franklydear · 18/04/2022 22:49

@paintfairy in my late teens early twenties, I’ve been known to wear my dresses with army issued boots, military town so not as outrageous as it sounds, a but for a girl but....

Just back from dinner with the siblings in law, look at the time, 3 couples with children, some small, obviously the brothers had to argue about who pay how much of the bill, for it to be fairer, one tried to explain the logic of it to me, he only got: as far as all three of you are happy, I really don’t care, 🤦🏼‍♀️ good job we order take away to one of them houses, imagine the embarrassment in a restaurant, they were all trying to pay a bigger share and couldn’t square it up
And I got back to dad in law watching the futbol gossip programs, seriously, where’s the wine?

Lexber · 19/04/2022 04:43

@Vil10 hope you feel a little better - I found when pregnant if I ate something like curry in the evening I'd be up vomiting in the night - it sucked!

@Minster2012 crazy isn't it, I told Oh when he has his vasectomy that the x amount of wanking after over so many days isn't a challenge he needs to complete in day 1..🤣🤣

Wow @Juno231 just the thought of all that walking makes my hips hurt!!

I'm sure the mole is nothing @Minster2012 but ALWAYS better to check it out. Try not to worry yourself, easier said than done xx

@paintfairy I lived in my converse but looser than normal as nothing else fit, my feet/ankles/legs were so swollen it was unreal - still are even with sexy compression socks on!

@Franklydear lovely to spend time with family, the cake sounds good to me. Apparently yesterday my neighbour (the baker who made me a cake when I craved it) popped round when she saw the car home daytime (oh had popped back) with baby gifts thinking I was home. The youngest (ASD) popped her head round the kitchen door to her and told her I am craving chocolate cake... 🤣🤣🤣 the little madam, and then proceeded to list off other delicious baked goods that apparently I am also craving.,, good effort! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

@Vil10 OH says he is not surprised I hurt after watching me labour, he was gobsmacked I wasn't cursing him, screaming/shouting and he didn't end up with broken fingers.. I am a silent labourer and switch off and deep breathe through the contractions. My hips are not thanking me for it either!! Trickling is good compared to my vomiting sessions!! Many a time I absolutely pissed myself when throwing up. It's horrible isn't it!

@bez91 I did a little hand express into syringes with help from midwives for Elsie on first day but didn't get on with it when I tried myself. I have some syringes here with me and I am sure I was given more at home so if you do and want/ need more let me know and I will get them to you (free obvs) xx

@larrythelizard bed was empty until about 3.30am but she's been very quiet - while I've sat my hung mini cheddars at 4am expressing 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

Update - still in hospital. Elsie's scan looks clear but just needs official confirmation from specialist today so that's a massive relief!! Blood test at 6am so it is in the labs as early as possible for results ready for dr rounds this morning, she saw us last yesterday but didn't realise it was us so wants to see us first today bless her. Day 5 weigh upcoming. But as I have been expressing and topping up to specific amounts for both now we know they're eating well so hopefully it is reflected in their weights..
otherwise all good here, just done my night express and got double my usual amount 🤟🏼 still only 20ml and 30ml BUT It's still early days and I've never done this before so absolutely over the moon'
I am always starving at minute, Oh nipped out at 9pm to fetch me a KFC last night and once babies were both fed and settled we sat chatting sharing it. Hopefully home today but not getting my hopes up now, girls were gutted yesterday, it's so hard that they've not met them yet but hopefully soon!! Xx

BellatrixK · 19/04/2022 07:23

@feliznavidad2 sorry to hear that you are struggling. What you’ve said about the third trimester definitely makes sense. Pregnancy is such an anxiety inducing time, but I’m glad that you’ve asked for help and and getting good support.

@Vil10 oh no! How are you today? Try to keep hydrated as best you can.

@Juno231 wow, those steps! Hope the rest of the sightseeing is good (but less steps!).

@Minster2012 try to get lots of rest and get people helping you as much as possible. The sciatica sounds awful. Can you complain about the appointment and get anything earlier? Glad that you’re checking in the mole too- will you hear back soon?

@DKDK123 it’s a long way off for me yet, but thank you for posting the birth plan questions. I’ll definitely check back on those later. Also, so impressed on the 6am egg hunt… I used to love doing those as a kid!

@paintfairyI’m definitely a trainers and dress girl. Or sandals if the weather gets warm enough. I love a Birkenstock.

@Franklydear the trip sounds perfect. Loving all the brotherly rivalry to pay more!

@Kate105 how was Belfast? It’s on my list to see! Hope the cinema trip lived up to expectations!

@larrythelizard haha! Your DS sounds great! Love that he called your mum out for looking at him!

@Lexber so so glad about Elsie’s scan! Your middle daughter is doing exceptionally well, blagging lots of cake for you! Hope that they all get to meet soon and you can finally get home!

I’m off to the Lakes today and going to South Lakes zoo. DH’s family are all from Cumbria so we try to go up as much as possible. Love it up there!

larrythelizard · 19/04/2022 07:38

You're doing so well @Lexber I barely expressed that with DS - I'm in awe of you! Saw your pic of the KFC, pleased that OH is catering for your every whim! I'm very impressed with your youngest (who isn't the youngest anymore), that is very impressive chocolate cake ordering! Great that Elsie's scan was clear.

Missed about the mole @Minster2012 - when will you hear back from the melanoma team? Always better to ask about these things than worry. App to check on fluid and stuff today right? You're getting so so close to the golden 37 weeks, just hang on, particularly with that horrible sciatica.

It's lovely how much 'normal' hanging out family time you're getting @Franklydear - well overdue I know.

Have a lovely time today @BellatrixK - I've never been to the lakes but it's on my list. It's about the same driving for us as Cornwall and I always choose Cornwall!

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 19/04/2022 12:32

Will catch up fully later as not feeling good but I'm reading

@bez91 I'm going to try harvesting too and ask later,

Minster2012 · 19/04/2022 12:45

Argh sorry pressed by accident, I've got about 5 syringes so far & a few bags, thought I'd see how I get on before getting more

@larrythelizard yes appointments later today, I should get a response on the mole maybe tomorrow? In my head yes I'm also trying to get to 37 weeks

If anyone is looking at the saltwater sandals then the sizing is a bit weird, so if you are a UK 6 it's a saltwater 7 you buy but I also wear trainers @paintfairy too with dresses & leggings, was wearing some leopard ones the other day.

Laughing at squatting & leaking @Vil10 but only cos it sounds like a good title

Obviously my telephone physio appointment will just be to say they need to see me. So pointless . My lovely registrar SIL though who works a lot on obs & gynae (anaesthetist) has bought me a long snake like fluffy covered hot water bottle which is fab 😍

DKDK123 · 19/04/2022 13:20

@bez91 glad to hear your DDs first sleepover was a success, that'll ease your anxiety a bit about leaving her when you go to have the baby. I want to try the colostrum harvesting at 36 weeks incase I have trouble feeding again, but I'm waiting to check with my midwife that it's OK for me to try as I know it can stimulate early labour in some.

@feliznavidad2 a 3day spa break sounds bliss, I hope you're making the most of the rest and sneaking in lots of naps. Glad to hear your team are being helpful and proactive with the anxiety, hopefully a tweak in meds is all that's required.

@minster2012 the physio care is so poor isn't it, I know its difficult but even the 'easier' jobs like the garden furniture will need to take a back seat and you need to start resting rather than being in tears from the pain. I hope you get answers quickly about your mole to save you worrying.

@Juno231 wow impressive stoppage for being pregnant! Sounds like you're having a great time over there tho.

@Vil10 hope you're feeling a bit better now and it was just the curry that was too much for your digestive system to handle at the moment.

@paintfairy never say never on the parenting front 🤣 There are so many things I said pre child that I'd never do as a parent that I now do or that I said I would definitely do that I now definitely don't, sometimes you'll end up just picking and choosing your battles for an easier life. Trust me easter egg hunt at 6am was definitley preferable to him bouncing from the ceiling hyper as can be for a few hours longer. I did write on his note from the easter bunny that once he found his egg he could have a little bit of one then had to go back to chill in his bed with his tablet and let his mummy and daddy go back to their bed for a bit 😂
I'm definitely a trainer person too for comfort (sketchers all the way for me), so I tend to do leggings and long tops or cropped leggings in the summer.

@Kate105 hope you had a fab night out at the cinema.

Glad to hear you survived your mums visit @larrythelizard 😂 Take it easy at the gym, hats off to you for still managing to go!

@Franklydear glad you're getting to see all the family now they're free from covid. How much longer do you have left?

@lexber I love your DDs ploy to get more cake from the neighbour, that is genius 🤣🤣🤣 Keeping everything crossed that you all get home today, given they were early you're all bossing it and doing amazing! Bet there are a few tears shed when you bring them home and see your family all complete and together ❤️

Have a fab time at the Lakes @BellatrixK

I've been feeling so shitty recently, think my body's on strike with this whole pregnancy malarkey, back to throwing up randomly during the night, been getting quite a few headaches this week and BP is increasing tho I'm hoping they're both from dehydration from being sick rather than pre-e, so desperately upping my water intake even tho I don't feel like drinking anything as Im in pain every time I tackle the stairs for the toilet. The positive is tho that I still have one extremely active baby bouncing about which reassures me that it'll all be worth it (tho I'm still not entirely convinced she's staying put till the 10th). Supposed to be WFH today but I have my appointment this afternoon so back to channelling my inner zen lying on the couch listening to relaxing music to keep the BP down as low as I can before I go. I'll catch up with the work admin tonight once I'm home, doing all I can to stay out of hospital is more important right now 😂

Franklydear · 19/04/2022 14:03

@Lexber your girl sounds lovely, and clever since neighbour is baking, why not give her a few suggestions? love her
@larrythelizard my fil is a bit hmm that we are not doing anything ‘special’ and booking expensive restaurants, but we are all normal and with small children, delivery to a house is just as good, even better I think . I love Cornwall, nearly as much as Wales
@Minster2012 your lovely sil has the right idea, hope the mole will be nothing
@DKDK123 we're here till Saturday, I reserved this next 3 days to see the one brother with covid, they are all clean now, went for drink prelunch with him, and we're going to dinner to his tonight, they are both trying to catch up on work from the last two weeks, with two little ones, 1 and 4, but will fit around that . Keep your priorities right, work can definitely wait.

DKDK123 · 19/04/2022 15:35

After all that trying to stay zen it kept my BP down but little missy wasn't listening and her heart rates too high again so getting sent up to the ward for more monitoring again 🙄 Seems she's a party animal

Franklydear · 19/04/2022 16:00

@DKDK123 I hope not for too long

bez91 · 19/04/2022 16:50

@larrythelizard stop gran looking at me 😂😂 hope the gym went well, legend for still being at it!

@Lexber your DH getting you KFC = legend! Sounds like you're doing a great job with the feeding lady, always extra pressure when they're born small and you're feeding TWO 💪🏼 hopefully not too long for you now until you're home. Thanks for the offer on the syringes, I tried this morning for ages and got nothing, just going to keep persevering. At least whilst WFH I can get at various times of the day 😆

@DKDK123 as above my first harvest wasn't a success 😆 will keep trying, they're tingling like mad so something is happening. I was about to say take it easy then saw your other update 🤦🏼‍♀️ hopefully she’s just playing up and you’ll be off the monitor and home quickly!

@BellatrixK amazing place to have family based, I love it up there too!

@minster2012 did you get the school you wanted for X? We got our first choice which was to be expected as it’s our catchment area one 🙈

Just had my midwife app, I think it was you too @paintfairy that mentioned about birthing pool. She basically said usually with consultant led care it’s not usually permitted with this trust (although there is apparently one available in the consultant led area 🤷‍♀️) I have my last growth scan at 38+5 which they said they’ll discharge me to be midwife led care if everything ok so suppose just wait and see, I’m not precious about it just nice to have the option 😆

feliznavidad2 · 19/04/2022 17:49

Oooft, that KFC looked good @Lexber hope you're a bit closer to going home now lovely, you're doing so well!

Ahh @DKDK123 bless you, hopefully little lady is just a little excited - hope your monitoring goes ok and you're out quickly.

Well done @Minster2012 you're like the harvest queen 🌽 (don't know why it's corn, but it is, harvesting innit!) Bloody love a salt water sandle too, I've got some boring tan coloured ones but they're fab. Hope you're feeling a bit brighter this arvo. Also thinking of you with your stresses with the mole. 🤗

How are you now @Vil10? Hope you're ok lovely.

Also never been to the Lakes but have a fab time @BellatrixK - let us know what you get upto!

Dinner sounds a bit of a nightmare @Franklydear - families, eh?

You're a hero still going to the gym Mrs! I'm sure you've said before but can't remember where you live. I don't think I'm far from you as where we've gone in the Cotswolds is only 40 mins or so from us.

Having such a dreamy time away, and a really nice preggo massage this am. It's our last night this eve and we're having dinner at the hotel, maybe a mocktail that I've become accustomed to and some more 'Top Boy' on Netflix after - living the life. 😜

DS asked his grandparents if he could give us a video call this afternoon which I thought was sweet, turns out he wanted to ring as so he could ask for the iPad PIN... which his GP already have. Such a scamp. 😂

Oh @DKDK123 what a pain! Hopefully you'll be home tonight, you're getting so close now though so hang in there. Just take it day by day!

It's the seaside for me @Franklydear - I was googling Cornish cottages on the beach for a trip next summer earlier (I think it almost the same price to go abroad though!!!

Options are great @bez91 then you can just see how you feel. We didn't do too bad with the terrible 2's but threenager vibes are coming in strong ahead of his birthday in June!

Sounds like you're pretty close @feliznavidad2 - I have a close friend in the west mids and it's only an hour up to her. We have a spa break booked for start of July but I don't officially know where we're going (it's a surprise from DH but I have worked it out because I am sneaky 😬)
