@FeeneeTTC how exciting! How far along will you be at your scan?

@Itsabean same! I will go to the loo just before I go to sleep but I still wake up hours later busting for a wee 😂 it’s like a part of my night time routine now 😂

They say animals can sense pregnancy so that doesn’t surprise me! My mums dog isn’t the friendliest and picks and chooses who she likes but she was my best friend on Christmas Day, constantly sitting on my knee 🥰

FeeneeTTC · 30/12/2021 12:14

@Coco9910 I’ll be 12+2 give or take a day. How about you?

@Itsabean yep same here, like clockwork about 3am every night haha

Rachae · 30/12/2021 12:26

Hey everyone,

I feel like a right tit but would someone mind adding me to the Facebook group again please? 🙈

I had severe cramping yesterday - talking paracetamol wouldn't fix it... and some pink cervical mucus. Given my history, I'd seen this before loads of times and presumed the worst and so left the group prematurely.

Just been for a scan this morning and to our shock, everything is fine!! Measuring perfectly at 10+3 and saw baby dancing🥰

Again, hope this is reassurance for anyone who's worried about symptoms. I still have zero and feel a lot of energy. Now also a positive story for people who get any bleeding or pain xxx

Coco9910 · 30/12/2021 12:32

@FeeneeTTC I will be 13+2 but I ovulated late so I reckon more like 12+4. When I went for my private scan at 8+4 they said I was measuring 7+1 so I’m hoping for a better idea on dates at my scan.

@Rachae oh my gosh I’m so happy to hear everything’s okay!! I’ve been thinking of you this morning. I will see if I can figure out how to get you added or post a link here. So happy for you! 💕

Rachae · 30/12/2021 12:40

Thanks @Coco9910 I just can't believe it! ❤️

FeeneeTTC · 30/12/2021 12:42

@Rachae that’s just the best news I’m so pleased for you!

FeeneeTTC · 30/12/2021 12:42

@Coco9910 ah very similar then! Not long to wait now! X

eekness · 30/12/2021 13:44

@Itsabean I wish my pets were a bit more intuitive. They've been stomping over me and the pug Nigel has been a nightmare jumped over me twice really causing pain (all so he could bark at the tv!)

I hadn't heard from anyone re booking in/scan date so rang and they said I'd been assigned a midwife and to text her. I did and been completely ignored so far. I'm 9+5 so going to ring next week if nothing, is it usually about 10-12 weeks?

Coco9910 · 30/12/2021 14:14

@Rachae bet you were so relieved!

@FeeneeTTC yes it’s going to come round quickly!

ellie1789 · 30/12/2021 14:17

@Itsabean funny you should say about your cat. Yesterday I was lying in bed when I suddenly thought I was going to throw up. I asked my hubby to quickly grab a bowl, and my girl cat got up from the end of the bed and meowed a lot and came over to join me. I felt awful and thought she wanted attention, but she sat right next to me which she rarely does. I then had to sit on the floor of the bathroom for a bit and she joined me again. She must have sensed me feeling unwell Star

Aims1991 · 30/12/2021 14:48

That's weird everyone saying that about pets, when I went to my dads a few weeks ago his dog sat at my feet majority of the time then at one point jumped and sat on my knew. Which was strange as he's getting older and can't really jump now. But totally makes sense that they can sense something.

Firsttimetrier · 30/12/2021 14:55

@eekness I think the booking appointment is around 8 weeks then your scan is between 11-12 weeks.

Had my booking appointment earlier today and they found some glucose in my urine sample, so I’m freaking the F out I’m going to get gestational diabetes. Apparently I’m higher risk of getting it due to my ethnicity but my BMI is in the normal range.

Has anyone experienced gestational diabetes in previous pregnancies?
This is my first, so no idea what to expect and just freaking out.

Peaster · 31/12/2021 10:05

Congrats! I am 9+3 today. I had my bloods and Urine taken yesterday and was also told to download the BadgerNotes app. Haven’t had any results back yet but fingers crossed all is well.

Noonoo88 · 31/12/2021 10:18

Hi guys, jumping back on this thread as I saw the old one was full! Looks like lots of good news for everyone 😊 I'm now at 9+3. For anyone who wasn't on the other thread my pregnancy was initially a twin pregnancy but one of them I lost around 5-6 weeks. Had some scans and all is well with remaining baby. I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and am on insulin to help control my sugar levels. So now obviously under consultant care for this pregnancy and will be induced at 38 weeks unless baby measures small or normal size. Hope everyone is doing well! I'm deep in the throes of all day sickness and the insulin has made me feel awful too so it's been a wild ride so far 😅

Coco9910 · 31/12/2021 13:59

I’ve just called the early pregnancy unit to ask what I need to do about having covid and being 11 weeks pregnant, as the nhs website advices us to tell our midwife, and they have just said all the recommend is to ask the midwife when I can have my booster. They told me at my booking appointment to wait until I was 12 weeks to get it, but the nhs website advices to wait 28 days after a positive PCR test so I’m going to book it for end of January. I don’t think I need to call and ask the midwives, what do you reckon? I am just thinking I can confirm that this is okay at my 12 week scan in 2 weeks. I’m just over thinking things, but don’t want to bother the midwives if no need! I feel fine and don’t really have symptoms, apart from losing my taste 😩😂

I had my booking appointment last Tuesday and I haven’t had any results back. Is this normal? I wasn’t advised to download any app.

Aims1991 · 31/12/2021 14:14

So after feeling rotten yesterday and having every symptom possible. Today I feel fine and no symptoms! This just messes with my head🤯

FeeneeTTC · 31/12/2021 14:30

Hi @Coco9910 - I tested positive for covid last night too! Went for a pcr today and just waiting for the results. I feel absolutely fine, no real symptoms aside from a slightly sore throat. I also had covid in June after my first vaccine and had to wait until one month after the date of my positive test to get vaccine two, so I’m sure it’ll be the same with the booster and I’ll just rebook my appointment for feb 1st. I think I’ll only contact the midwife if I start to feel really poorly.

I didn’t receive any results of tests after my urine sample and bloods at my booking in appointment, I’m assuming that’s because they were all fine… I’m high risk of gestational diabetes due to family history and my bmi, but they are going to do a glucose test at 22 weeks and keep an eye on it.

Coco9910 · 31/12/2021 14:50

@FeeneeTTC thank you! I got my PCR results this morning. Okay, I think I will do the same. I’m just taking this isolation to test and relax, which is what I think my body needs! Hope you continue to feel okay!

FeeneeTTC · 31/12/2021 15:04

@Coco9910 yeah you too! I guess the symptom we need to keep an eye on is high temp, so hoping they stay low for us! X

Firsttimetrier · 31/12/2021 15:46

Sorry to hear you’ve both got covid @Coco9910 and @FeeneeTTC I hope it doesn’t get any worst and stays mild!

I only got my urine results back as they tested them during my booking appointment but still waiting on my bloods! I think I get them back at 16 weeks? Or maybe they call me if something is wrong.

Coco9910 · 31/12/2021 20:29

@FeeneeTTC yes I think so too! Hopefully we both remain fever free!

@Firsttimetrier thank you! Yes I guess no news is good news! I guess they will update me when I go in for my 12 week scan if there is anything I need to know :)

Itsabean · 01/01/2022 09:27

Happy New Year Ladies!

We can officially say, we’re having a baby this year!!!

How did everyone see in the new year?
I spent it on the couch, with my DH, we ordered an Indian and both fell asleep by 10.30! Party animals Grin

FeeneeTTC · 01/01/2022 10:32

Morning all and Happy New Year! I also spent it on the sofa and fell asleep by 11 but DH woke me up to see the fireworks at midnight.

@Coco9910 just wanted to mention I got my pcr back and it’s positive , and on the email and text from nhs it says to tell your midwife, so I am going to email them. I still feel fine but thought I’d better let them know since track and trace have now asked me to. Hope you’re still feeling ok.

Coco9910 · 01/01/2022 10:48

Happy new year everyone!! How exciting! Wishing us all happy and healthy pregnancies and babies that will be born THIS YEAR!! 💕

@FeeneeTTC please will you let me know if your midwife advises you to do anything, as when I called the hospital they just said I’d need to speak to the midwife about when I could have my booster, and I didn’t want to bother them about that when I could ask when I go in in a couple of weeks. Hope you are still feeling okay!
