I had my booster at 8 weeks - no side effects except a sore arm!

DaimDillyDoo · 28/11/2021 19:08

@beansprout55 I also conceived with Letrozole... which cycle did you catch on? Smile

13 weeks today! Feeling so bloated thoughEnvy

beansprout55 · 28/11/2021 19:10

@DaimDillyDoo ahhh yay another letrozole babe! Miraculously it was our first cycle!! Didn't think it would happen either abs follicle growth was slow and only one, it got up to 14mm then they stopped scanning me. We thought next cycle I'd need a bigger dose or something - somehow that follicle much have had a massive growth spurt just before I ovulate. Absolute miracle!xx
What about you??xx

Prema112 · 28/11/2021 19:17

@HWka I've just had a week of cramps from 12.5-13.5 weeks. It was worrying but no bleeding and it seems better now, I've read it can be your uterus expanding x

HWka · 28/11/2021 19:22

@Prema112 thank you! yes I’ve read that too so hopefully it’s all normal! I wonder if I’ll ever be able to relax in this pregnancy haha!

Prema112 · 28/11/2021 19:31

@CurryandSnuggle Tonight DH & I are having a curry and snuggling down to a movie- made me think of you Smile

Prema112 · 28/11/2021 19:33

@HWka It's so hard to relax isn't it! I'm really gonna try not stress after my scan on Tuesday, don't wanna spend the entire pregnancy worried!

caz198917 · 28/11/2021 19:35

My '12' week scan tomorrow, but going off when I had my private scan (dated me 9 weeks 3 days ) I'll be 13 plus 4. The nausea and tiredness eased off about a week ago. Still sore boobs. I'm so paranoid it's going to end up a missed miscarriage or something because of loss of symptoms. Wish me luck!

DaimDillyDoo · 28/11/2021 20:32

@beansprout55 ahh what lovely news! Especially that you thought you were out Smile Second cycle for us, although we also caught on the first cycle but sadly lost it. Letrozole has been great, I barely had any side effects and it worked both times! X

unknownscot · 28/11/2021 21:38

@DaimDillyDoo @beansprout55
So glad you both had success with letrozole, we had nine months and unfortunately never any success hence why we went forward with ivf.

Always so happy to hear success stories ❤️

Clomid1 · 28/11/2021 22:07

@DaimDillyDoo @beansprout55 @unknownscot

I conceived on my second round of clomid. Genuinely thought I’d never get this far.

Pregnancy announcements used to hit me hard. Just went through “why me” thoughts.

I still find pregnancy announcements hit me hard though

Clomid1 · 28/11/2021 22:26

Part of my message is missing. Was going to say I still find pregnancy announcements hard. I forget I am pregnant and also maybe the fear that it won’t end up going well so still find the announcements hurt. Do any of you feel like that.

@HWka 11+4 and still have cramps 😞

unknownscot · 28/11/2021 22:31

@Clomid1
Yeah, I know what you mean exactly.

It's the reason I'm definitely not doing a SM pregnancy post. The anxiety of infertility doesn't stop when you get pregnant. Until I have that baby in my arms I'll be a riot!

CurryandSnuggle · 28/11/2021 22:42

@Prema112 Aww cute, hope you enjoyed it :D When I signed up to mumsnet I had had a curry and snuggle night, which inspired my username lol.

RoseValleyRambles · 28/11/2021 22:43

@unknownscot Agree. We will party (in a very limited fashion) once LO is with us, and not before. Feelings may change over we get to trimester 3 I guess, but for now it feels very far from a done deal.

MrsTwentyNine · 29/11/2021 07:52

Hi ladies
Long time lurker on this group but never felt brave enough to post, had a m/c in July and now 11+3 today so very anxious. Had a scan at 9 weeks which went well so waiting for my 12 week scan on the 9th - EDD 16th June
Congratulations to all of you. Your conversations have kept me sane (I sound like such a stalker!)
I have read a few people mention weight gain in the first trimester and I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! I already was a size 14 and now I have definitely gained a LOT of just fat I'm sure, so have invested in maternity trousers already
And yes to the social media announcements making you feel sad/ scared - I'm still the same. @clomid1 Or even seeing pregnant women in their 3rd trimester, I am still so anxious. I had spotting around 7 weeks like a lot of ladies here too
Anyway lovely to finally be able to bring myself to post on here ladies x

Turniptracker · 29/11/2021 08:10

@HWka I've had what I think are round ligament pains rather than straight cramps - they feel like pulsating stabs.
Is anyone having their scan this week? We are on Thursday morning. Bit concerned I'm more excited about the nausea easing off than anything though, I'm such a terrible sick person!!

Prema112 · 29/11/2021 08:14

@CurryandSnuggle It's one of the best ways to spend an evening in my opinion!

Unarosaes · 29/11/2021 08:26

@Turniptracker I am about 12 weeks today and have my scan on Wednesay. The nerves are over the roof!

MrsNT · 29/11/2021 08:44

Embarrasing question ladies but is anyone suffering from severe trapped wind and bloating. Ive had a few episodes of really horrible trapped wind . Nothing seems to work. Even got that rennie which said for trapped wind didnt work. :(

MrsNT · 29/11/2021 08:45

@clomid1 were you on metaformin? Have they said how many weeks to continue it?

caz198917 · 29/11/2021 09:10

Me too! Mines this afternoon. I can't focus on work for nerves! Xx

pregnancydiaries · 29/11/2021 09:21

Good luck ladies having your 12 week scans this week! Keep us posted with pics! Mine is next week and I’m so nervous already 😂 xx

Prema112 · 29/11/2021 09:43

Good luck ladies with scans this week! @Unarosaes Woohoo yours has finally come around!

Prema112 · 29/11/2021 09:44

@MrsTwentyNine welcome! Great that you've already had a scan at 9 weeks Smile
