@beansprout55 Yes, still had pink spotting after my last scan. Maybe it really has to do with the pessaries, especially if you and @Prema112 are taking them too.

@EarlGreywithLemon Dresses are great as well. I will probably order some after my next scan. I usually buy tights one or two sizes up, cause I find it more comfortable. Maybe try that. Calzedonia have good ones.

@PeeAche Hope you feel better soon.

beansprout55 · 27/11/2021 22:30

Well, I thought that 3 weeks ago so I stopped using them vaginally and started using them, the other way 🙄 - didn't make a difference to my bleeding though! Especially now it's started again!x - unless there's another link to them causing bleeding other than irritating the cervix?

@Annabell1@Prema112

CurryandSnuggle · 27/11/2021 22:39

I’ve got bad indigestion which is making me feel unwell after eating 😬 13+1. Hoping things get better soon.

Annabell1 · 27/11/2021 23:03

@beansprout55 That's a good point. Well, I'm not exactly sure how they affect the whole area down there.
But it's also possible that there is still a tiny haematoma, which is just too difficult to see on a scan.
Hopefully things will get better as we go. Xx

Prema112 · 28/11/2021 07:49

@CurryandSnuggle Happy second trimester for yesterday!!

@beansprout55 Yeah I ended up doing them the other way too and I still bled for a week, I wonder whether just fluctuating hormones is to blame. I've finished progesterone now so will be interesting to see if I have any more

Turniptracker · 28/11/2021 08:27

Did anyone else get tricked into thinking their nausea was getting better and then suddenly get hit twice as hard? I'm supposed to be going to a friend's for dinner today and I just don't know if I can stomach it. Fed up of feeling like this now Sad

CurryandSnuggle · 28/11/2021 08:37

@Annabell1 @beansprout55 @Prema112 I’m not on progesterone pessaries though so no explanation for mine. Some women are just “bleedy” for no reason I think.

Thanks Prema, I’d like to say that second trimester is treating me well but I’m still a bloated, burpy, nauseous mess 😂

@Turniptracker yup, that’s me. No nausea for / weeks then bam. I’m pretty sure mine is indigestion as it happens after every meal for about 2 hours and I’m super burpy and gurgly. It’s unpleasant. Fingers crossed this too shall pass!!

CurryandSnuggle · 28/11/2021 08:38

Also @Prema112 how are you feeling? Hopefully still ok? Glad you’ve not been badly hit with the covid this time xx

Journeylikenomother · 28/11/2021 08:42

@Turniptracker yup!! This weekend it's crept back in. I thought I had it all under control - eat little and often, nothing too rich. I feel asleep yesterday afternoon watching a film by the fire, missed "snack time" and I'm feeling nauseous and gagging since! Feeding the dog this morning was just too much 🤢

Prema112 · 28/11/2021 09:35

@Turniptracker Yes!! It's seems to be getting better again but I'm wary...

@CurryandSnuggle Yesterday I had a moment where I wasn't feeling sick, didn't have cramps, wasn't bleeding and didn't have a headache and I thought 'Wow this is what it's like to feel normal!!' Only lasted about half an hour of course. I'm doing ok but I've had bad headaches the last 2 days

RoseValleyRambles · 28/11/2021 10:02

Congrats @curruyandsnuggle and anyone else who has made it to trimester 2!

Still bleeding here, too, although anti nausea meds are finally kicking in which I'm very very glad of.

PeeAche · 28/11/2021 10:15

Hey @InvisibleDragon I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling good at the moment.

I think there are a few things to unpick here... firstly on the physical side - I go through cycles with my boobs too. Try draping them with very cold flannels before bed. It's a bit weird but it really takes the edge off for a little while and it might help you get to sleep.

Re: your fight with your DH - I hope you feel safe at home and not unduly / overly criticised. I think men on Mumsnet get a bad rep but also I wouldn't want you to feel like you can't talk about it here. It is normal to fight - even over your own "behaviours" - I hope the fights are normal and you don't feel that he's trying to control how you behave.

My DH and I have fought this weekend too. He's made me so angry I could scream. We made up but I'm still seething under the surface so I know we'll end up fighting again. I feel so childish holding onto this "unfinished business" but sometimes, the steam just has to escape....

Why are you such a procrastinator, Dragon? Does the anxiety come from the thought of making the call or does it build up afterwards, when you haven't done it and know you should have done?

12+3 and I've hit the emotional stage. I do have a lot of stress on though so hard to tell if it's a normal reaction or not!

Brightsmoke · 28/11/2021 12:32

I'm 13+2 today. Finally started feeling better a couple of days ago, so 🤞🏻 there's hope for everyone else! I'm so glad because we flew to fuerteventura early yesterday, don't think I would've handled the flight well if I was feeling nauseous! I'm panicking a bit about the new covid rules for re entering the UK though 😬

In other news, I'm 99% sure I'm actually pregnant with an elephant

@Brightsmoke wow that’s a sizeable bump! 🙂 very exciting 😁

CurryandSnuggle · 28/11/2021 13:52

That was supposed to be a smiley: Grin

GabsK92 · 28/11/2021 14:07

Has anyone had the conversation re booster jabs with their GP? I want to get it (I want ALL the vaccines Grin) but I don't know whether it's considered safe in pregnancy and at what stage of pregnancy. Any thoughts?

Pandamama88 · 28/11/2021 14:10

@GabsK92 I had my booster last Tuesday (13 weeks). I told them I was pregnant and they said it was fine. No side effects, except a sore arm the day after

CurryandSnuggle · 28/11/2021 14:16

I’m not eligible yet for the booster, pregnant women can only have it if they’re on the eligible list.

I reckon it’s only a matter of time though that the list gets extended to everyone!

GabsK92 · 28/11/2021 14:16

@Pandamama88 oh great, I shall eagerly await my call then!

Pandamama88 · 28/11/2021 14:49

@GabsK92 If it has been 180 days since your last vaccine you can organise it yourself. Some pharmacies and vaccination centres do them. We went to one a few miles away. Just do a Google, as long as enough time has elapsed since your last dose you should be able to just book it.

RoseValleyRambles · 28/11/2021 16:23

They were very clear at my booking appt that they advised all pregnant women to get the booster, so I'll be jumping for it the minute I'm eligible.

unknownscot · 28/11/2021 17:24

Mine is booked for a couple weeks time - a friend of mine was refused it before 12 weeks but I haven't heard anything about that.
I booked mine for after 12 weeks just in case that was still the information at my local vaccine centre.

beansprout55 · 28/11/2021 18:22

I'm having my booster on Wednesday! I have been offered it for a few months but was reluctant to seeing as I was starting my first round of letrozole and was worried it would interfere. And then when I got my BFP I was certain I wouldn't for the first trimester, but now with cases on the rise and this new variant I thought I better book it ASAP. I'm so anxious though, especially with all this bleeding already. I know the latest studies suggest the vaccines have had no effect on babies born to vaccinated mothers, so going with that!x

HWka · 28/11/2021 18:34

Anyone got any cramping at 11 weeks? I’ve had a bit of cramping this afternoon, I’m 11 weeks 4 days and thought my cramping days were over 😫. No bleeding or anything just seems a bit of light cramping, hoping it’s just everything stretching and nothing bad xxx
