@rathernotshare hope you find an answer soon, but please try to remain calm if you can, unfortunately when you’re waiting for an answer I get it can be anxious. Hopefully they will still call today, or Monday. Hey, atleast it’s not super serious or you’d have been spoken to already? :) hopefully you are sorted soon!!

@ALHCTPS 100%, my dad never talks about it, and never got help so he can be a wreck, but I’ll make sure to reach my kids about mental health, and that it’s okay to reach out for help if you aren’t feeling your usual self! I won’t let there be a vicious cycle. :)

@Journeylikenomother so sorry to hear about your previous pregnancy, wishing you all the luck for your rainbow baby!! Thank you for providing some handy tips for dealing with anxiety, I do like that mantra, especially taking one day at a time. I think it’s definitley the feeling of loss of control, and anxiety of the unknown! One step at a time. :)

Vimto1991 · 26/11/2021 17:16

@RoseValleyRambles you definitely hit the nail on the head there! Yeah solid advice to start taking it day by day and not to be too anxious of a future I cannot control. I do try and say most pregnancies result in a baby, but you do see all these sad posts about MC that makes you worry if it could be you. Fingers crossed for everyone here, and thank you for your help with my anxiety and nerves!

First baby… first time really trying. Almost feels like too good to be true so just thanking my lucky stars to even be here. :)

Journeylikenomother · 26/11/2021 17:17

And also.... There's ALWAYS that know-it-all auntie or neighbours who has tales of someone's friends dogs mother who "this awful thing happened to"... Block them out!!!!! You're pregnant, you don't need that s*

rathernotshare · 26/11/2021 17:22

@Vimto1991 I like your positive thinking, but I saw her last week and she'd booked in to call me today as I'd have the results of my scan. It was 'if the cyst is growing, you need it cutting out' I just want to know when so it can be over with. I daren't tell anyone I'm pregnant until after the op incase I lose the baby 😔

rathernotshare · 26/11/2021 17:25

Ps sorry for being a misery. Just gutting that I've had my 12 week scan and still can't be excited 😢

ALHCTPS · 26/11/2021 17:25

@Journeylikenomother it’s like people have a form of Tourette’s with telling horror stories to expectant mothers. That said, I do love sharing birth stories with other mums now I’ve had my first. If anyone had told me what would happen to me (long story short, VERY long labour as my son wouldn’t tuck his chin in - sounds so much worse than it is and he’s still a stubborn little so and so who refuses to be hurried), I’d have freaked out, but midwives are the most amazing people and I had total trust in them throughout. And, frankly, I was just so bloody thankful not to be pregnant any more and to share the parenting with my husband now that our son was no longer ‘integral’.

DaimDillyDoo · 26/11/2021 17:34

@rathernotshare you're not being a misery - you have something genuine that is worrying you. If we can't be misery's here where else can we be? Smile

Thinking of you Willow. I'm so sorry.

Willow1981 · 26/11/2021 17:43

Thank you everyone. DH is being amazing and looking after me.
I am doing OK until I tell anyone. I decided to go in to hospital for treatment rather than be at home. So we are now isolating until Monday. At least I don't have to wait too long. The hospital were lovely.

Clomid1 · 26/11/2021 18:04

@Journeylikenomother really sorry to hear about your loss at 38 weeks. Thank you for sharing your tips on how to cope.

Clomid1 · 26/11/2021 18:09

@Willow1981 Make sure you put yourself and looking after yourself first. Talk to the people you need to tell when you’re ready but you’re first priority so take your time. Glad to hear you have the right support though

InvisibleDragon · 26/11/2021 19:50

So sorry to hear your sad news Willow - I'm glad you're being well looked after xx

beansprout55 · 26/11/2021 19:51

@Willow1981 I'm so so sorry honey. Praying for you and DH. Glad you have a strong hubby who will look after you. xx

Rolledthedice · 26/11/2021 20:11

I’m so so sorry Willow. Do whatever it is you need to do, I’m thinking of you and your DH this evening. Take care 💐 xx

beansprout55 · 26/11/2021 20:18

What are you all wearing at the mo?
I'm 10 weeks on Monday and can no longer wear any jeans! (Doubt because of a bump, I've just eaten twice as much as usual since 5 weeks) 🍔 🐷

So, at the moment I'm just wearing my Pilates gear even when I'm not working out, which I hate. I'm thinking just winter dresses and tights for the next 2/3 months. Any website suggestions?xxx someone mentioned ASOS I think for mat gear. x

Leggings, leggings and more leggings! 10 weeks tomorrow and also can't wear jeans and also not from a bump 🤣🐷

Been shopping tonight for a new coat that I can grow with, Most of mine are quite fitted. Got an amazing long one (I'm only 5ft2 so it's around my ankles!) From river island that is so warm and roomy! Thought id size up but ended up getting my usual size due to how roomy it actually is & hoping it will last me through the winter months!

unknownscot · 26/11/2021 22:34

Leggings or shift dresses with tights.

I had a pregnancy massage today - delightful! 🥰

Remember self care ladies x

MrsNT · 27/11/2021 00:02

@beansprout55 asda cotton trousers that have tie thing on waist . Thats my home wear. If im going out then im in jeans but got a button extender from ebay. So use that. Someone said you can use hair tie aswell although ive not tried

MrsNT · 27/11/2021 00:04

Didnt have much to do today so went to local john lewis for pram/pushchair wimdow shopping. Since we r first timers thought to get idea. Felt like 7 yr olds walking into uni level maths class. Nothing made sense to me😂so came back and decided to do some research on youtube etc and then go with some info

CurryandSnuggle · 27/11/2021 07:28

Willow1981 I’m so so sorry, thinking of your during this difficult time, I am glad that your DH is supporting you. Xxx

beansprout55 · 27/11/2021 07:48

Urgh. 8 days clear and the pink tinged cm started again last night. 😢
@laurenGame @Prema112 and whoever else had the bleeds with us - did yours ever come back?

Just started to get excited 😞

ALHCTPS · 27/11/2021 07:53

Funnily enough, Mr ‘I want to attend all the midwife appointments’ declined to accompany me to a blood test at 7.50am on a freezing cold Saturday morning.

Prema112 · 27/11/2021 08:36

@beansprout55 ergh, sorry it's started again that's rubbish. I had 4 separate episodes from 5-12 weeks so yes mine stopped and started a lot

CurryandSnuggle · 27/11/2021 08:37

@beansprout55 my cm has been tinged most of the time since that big bleed I had, but I do get some days where there’s nothing. I refuse to worry about it anymore as I’ve had 3 scans and there’s been no bleeds on the scan. Just think it’s one of those things some women get for no reason.

CurryandSnuggle · 27/11/2021 08:38

@ALHCTPS in my area, partners are only allowed to scans, all other antenatal appointments need to be attended alone.

Prema112 · 27/11/2021 08:43

@ALHCTPS Lol, that's an early blood test!

Anyone else getting sore ears at night?? I'm used to back sleeping and all this side sleeping is really painful on my ears! Now considering a pillow with a hole in it...
