Oh, @RoseValleyRambles - mine is in my 11th week too. I'm just feeling chuffed that I don't have to wait a whole extra week and be 12+6. (They only schedule them on Thursdays here)

@PeeAche
I'm craving salty foods too. Salt on everything!!!

DaimDillyDoo · 22/11/2021 10:52

@Prema112 have you had your booking appointment? They tested my urine and unbeknown to me it came back that I had a UTI. I didn't have any symptoms though.

DaimDillyDoo · 22/11/2021 11:00

Is anyone else really worried about how much weight they'll put on? I'm chunky anyway but only fancying beige foods, plus eating constantly keeps the sickness at bay.

I know it's a shallow thing to worry about but I really struggle with my weight anyway!

I'm also suffering with my skin, I was on Roaccutane a few years back but pregnancy has made my skin erupt. Not even just big painful spots but loads of bumpy blackheads Envy

3yearstrying · 22/11/2021 11:05

@DaimDillyDoo i worry too, im usually a size 10-12 and more of a snacker than 3 meals a day. But at the moment im the same and have to keep eating otherwise i feel sick. I think its just a bitter pill to swallow and part of the process for some haha.

Honestly, i struggled so badly with my skin in my teens, and it only cleared up really about 3 years ago at 23. About 8-11 weeks of pregnancy i would breakout in cystic spots across my jawline and normal spots all over my forehead and cheeks. Really is hard, but as i said before mine has just cleared up so hoping you'll get there too!

rathernotshare · 22/11/2021 11:21

I had bloods for the nuchal screening last week and my scan is this week. Does anyone know if I will get the results at the scan appointment when they measure the fold? I'm really nervous about this one, I've just got a bad feeling

Prema112 · 22/11/2021 12:10

@Vimto1991 So sorry to hear about your crash that sounds awful!! Relieved to hear you're ok and I'm sure baby is too, so well cushioned in there.

Thanks @PeeAche and @DaimDillyDoo by some miracle I managed to get a dr appointment today and he will test my urine. Also @DaimDillyDoo I'm a bit worried about my weight as I'm eating so much because of nausea and I don't want healthy stuff just salty carbs!

Prema112 · 22/11/2021 12:13

Not sure why half my previous message is in bold?!

Vimto1991 · 22/11/2021 12:16

@Prema112 thank you for your kind words!
I am also just eating salty carbs and struggling with anything healthy. The way I see it, I’d either not eat/make myself sick forcing to eat something I don’t want, or just eat something not necessarily healthy but atleast it’s something! I think we are encouraged to gain weight throughout pregnancy anyway!

MrsNT · 22/11/2021 12:19

Btw i just got my order from Dorothy perkins. Got a jeans for about £5 . Its the ellis versatile slim jeans.its on sale . Got 2 other jeans and trousers but returnign those. Reccomend the £5 one

RoseValleyRambles · 22/11/2021 12:23

So I have shifted my scan out so it'll be firmly in week 12 - sounded like I might be a tiny bit early otherwise (11,2) for the nuchal fold bit and I'd like as much confirmed as I can.

Food wise, I am finding veggie sticks and humous a nice break from the endless carbs, but yes, frustrated not to have more control over my diet too. I had just got into a good exercise habit and now that's out the window. Sigh.

MrsNT · 22/11/2021 12:24

Its this one.i bought blue one but cant find it in blue now which was £5.40 but this is £6

If you guys are looking for a delicious low-carb, low-calorie, low-saturated-fat snack you should try salt. It's delicious.

I learned yesterday the hard way that trying to eat healthy and balanced will have to wait for next year. I have been avoiding fish like the plague until I had some at my inlaws for lunch yesterday. I've been sick 4 times since I ate the bloody fish.

Pandamama88 · 22/11/2021 12:52

@PeeAcheGrin

MrsNT · 22/11/2021 12:55

@rosevallerambles

MrsNT · 22/11/2021 12:55

@RoseValleyRambles

RoseValleyRambles · 22/11/2021 13:13

Ooh. Thanks for the heads up. Will research.

pregnancydiaries · 22/11/2021 13:22

@RoseValleyRambles humous and carrot/cucumber sticks has been my saviour so now panicked, let me know if you find any info!!

CurryandSnuggle · 22/11/2021 13:24

@MrsNT aww I bought those ones in blue but I don’t like them, they are mega baggy in the leg, not slim on me at all. I don’t think it helps that I’m short and it’s impossible to get a petite maternity range lol. But yes I’m not impressed with mine.

I got the pack of 2 maternity leggings in my new clothes size but I am showing a lot already!! (See picture ), and it’s already near maximum stretch. There’s hardly any stretch in them. Can’t see them lasting much past Christmas!!

I got done really comfy PJs though from New look which have lots of room to grow. Got a pair of leggings from NL as well. The leggings ride down like tights which is annoying but they are very elasticated so can see them lasting.

I also got a really good maternity coat from NL as well, on sale for £40. Lots of room but not too baggy right now either.

If anyone wants links let me know and I can share.

pregnancydiaries · 22/11/2021 13:31

M&S maternity leggings in petite are good for shorter ladies and super comfy, 2 pack was like £18 I think xx

CurryandSnuggle · 22/11/2021 13:32

Ooh thanks @pregnancydiaries so good that there some petite maternity stuff out there!!

pregnancydiaries · 22/11/2021 13:35

@CurryandSnuggle it’s the usual black and grey options again but they are super comfy I’m living in them atm. Your bump is SO cute. I’m showing already at 10 weeks, no idea how 😂

CurryandSnuggle · 22/11/2021 13:36

@pregnancydiaries thank you, I sort of like it but sort of think I look like I’ve eaten too many pies 😂

pregnancydiaries · 22/11/2021 13:38

No!!!! I’d defo say you look pregnant it’s adorable ♥️ @CurryandSnuggle
