Ooooh @Gem176 the compression stocking look is the one! I had some very fetching teal ones after my op last year and I think OH nearly vommed every time he had to help me change them 😂😂😂

Due on the 28th so 37 weeks tomorrow. So near, so very bloody far...

@Kate105 I actually think getting OH to put my stockings on was a more vulnerable moment than having him watch me be anaethnatised and catheterised on an operating table 😂😂 they are bloody hideous! But are doing the trick to return my legs to legs rather than tree trunks 🙌🏻
Ah exciting!! I new you were really close to my due date but could t remember exactly! Hard to believe I should only be 38 weeks tomorrow. How are you feeling? Don't know if it was worse for me because I knew I was going in at 37 but week 36 I just got so fed up xx

I am so done @Gem176 when I suddenly started measuring big the other week I got so excited because I thought I might get induced early. Now back down to average so back to just waiting... Sigh. I am so over being pregnant! I had a dream the other night that my waters broke and when I woke up to find it wasn't real life I nearly cried 😂I was two weeks late as well so not holding out much hope on an early start for this one! I'm trying alllllllll the old wives tales now 😂😂😂

How's all the babies doing?

I'm not too bad so far COVID is just like a really bad cold.
My wee girl just has runny nose. Fairly sure hubby and the other 2 will test positive they were tested today they all have runny nose sneezing.
Isolation ends a week today cannot wait.

I'm 33 weeks 5 weeks today section is booked.
I cannot wait to meet her.

She is measuring on the 97th centile they were reckoning 10 pounds by 38 weeks 🙈 but I'm off my food just now so maybe not.

How's everybody else hanging in there.

What stage are we all at?

@DJmum83 I'm okay thanks although I'm sure my breastfeeding journey with DD is over before it even really started. Gutted really as I EBF DS until 12 months and it was a breeze.😣 how many weeks will you be at your section ?? DD was measuring above the 97th percentile from 31 weeks, 36 weeks she was 6lb 15oz and at 41 weeks she was born 8lb 4oz 🤷🏼‍♀️xx

I’m coming up to 30wks! Growth scan showed bigger head and belly so will be interesting to see what it shows at 32wks. They have been really slow to get GTT test done having it tomorrow, considering last time my GD was really bad seems a bit late.

Just want a plan now, hoping to be induced at 38wks as worried about age and going any later! Xx

@DJmum83 glad you're doing okay! I'm only a mere 21 weeks...so long away still haha.

@lucyrp sorry to hear breast feeding hasn't been as straightforward as you'd hoped.

All of you ladies with grow scans later on, was your baby on a higher centile at your 20 week scan or did it grow lots later on? This was my baby's growth report at my 20 week.

@Crazydoglady123 I haven't been given any info on my baby's growth at all so far. I'm just reaching 24 weeks now. No surprise considering I have no access to any maternity notes either. Will let you know if they do at my 28 week appointment.

@lucyrp that's a shame about breast feeding but don't be hard on yourself you know it's not your fault in any way since your boy breast fed for a year. Try and think of the positives... you can better share the feeds between you now and don't need to avoid alcohol etc (not that you're probably feeling up for that yet with the lack of sleep 😅).

@DJmum83 glad you've just got cold symptoms hopefully those will ease soon! Thanks for name suggestions... although I can already hear my husband rule out Harris based on Rolf Harris! He always finds something to rule them out 😂 I'm not really familiar with the names Remi or Farryn but both sound fine to me.

@Crazydoglady123 I didn't get any growth measurements like that from my 20 week scan. Only started plotting growth measurements from 31 weeks I think?

@2020mission I'm having to pay for a private lactation consultant to try and see if we can do anything to help her latch without shields and to see if she has a tongue tie etc first before stopping completely but we're trying to combi feed but DD likes to projectile vomit every bottle 😄

@Crazydoglady123 I don't think I got any growth info until 28 weeks or so? I mean, they must have taken measurements at the 20 week scan but I didn't get any info on a graph until they started measuring fundal height.

@lucyrp sorry breastfeeding isn't going how you planned, hopefully you can get to the bottom of it maybe a tongue tie my wee niece had to get her tongue tie cut.
I struggled breastfeeding my girls only lasted a week with both it mentally drained me and took mastitis I never tried with my boy but tempted this time. Hope it goes better for you.

@2020mission my husband is like that with names you say a nice name and he is like nah reminds me of such and such lol.
Plenty of time to think of a name sometimes nicer to wait and see what they look like.

@lucyrp I'll be 38+1 at my section.
Consultant wanted me done at 37 weeks as my waters have broke just before 38 weeks with all other 3, but it was fully booked.
So will see what happens xx

Hey guys, I just came across this thread - feels a bit premature to ask to join as i only just got my BFP (stilll carrying a tampon in my purse!!)

@Kate105 I've sent w few emails and waiting to hear back. Unfortunately none of them are anywhere near me so will be a long drive to see one but worth it hopefully!

@DJmum83 yeah we think tongue tie is why she's not latching on as she'll drink when I use shields on my boobs, although 6 midwives have all said no tongue tie but my HV said there definitely is a posterior one so very helpful as always🙄🥴 we've done 2 weeks so far but struggling with weight gain etc so on formula top ups. Its all very confusing. Almost easier to just move to formula 🥴 oh goodness! Hopefully they won't go before your section date ! Xx

Hey @Lexber you're very much free to join. The first weeks are often full of anxiety. I was on constant knicker watch on every trip to the loo in the first weeks (even months) of this pregnancy because of 2 chemicals I had in the 16 months before. I then had a few days of light bleeding and spotting around 7 weeks and thought the worst but everything was fine! How are you feeling otherwise?

@lucyrp I'm trying to picture what these shields look like 😬 is it quite hard to check for tongue tie? I've not read much on it so not sure if some resolve themselves or if all babies need to have a little surgical cut to fix it? Hopefully they can confirm it for you soon. How is everything going other than the feeding?

@Justanothercyster saw your ankle photos on Instagram yesterday 😅 I'm guessing the hot weather isn't helping? I honestly don't think I'd notice anyone's ankles swelling unless I was looking for it though! Are you on your feet much during the day at work?

@Kate105 I'm also over being pg 😖 it just feels like I'm constantly in lain! Joints, feet, back. Foot swelling is just a joke now, I've bought a pair of shoes a size bigger just to get through the day now. And it's so. Bloody. HOT! 😨

@2020mission it's a bloody nightmare. The heat makes it 100% worse and it's all fluid 🤢 I try to make sure I sit and stand and walk in intervals at work, I think the issue is that none of my old shoes fit properly which traps the fluid :( went and got some wide fit flats in a size bigger than my norm today though so hoping they help.
My SIL said she thought the picture was frankfurters 😂😂

Ugh. Just done with it now. Feel like I'm constantly wincing whenever I move and moaning all day, I must be a nightmare to live with 🙈

@2020mission they're not as interesting as they sound I promise. Google them 🤣 yeah I think so, as technically everyone has a tie as such but it's working out whether it's too short, too thick etc. Sometimes they're front ones or posterior which is what we think Evie has. Yeah everything else is fine, she's a little angel really can't complain. OH first day back at work today so our first day on our own not sure how its going to go 🙈🥴 I never thought I'd struggle to get housework done but I haven't even been able to do any when OH was at home so 😳

@Thinkingandblinking damn unicorns! There's a pregnant lady at work whose 2 weeks further than me and she says it's a breeze, wouldn't even know it 😐
There's me hobbling around with my sore knees and back and elephantitus sized feet and ankles 😐

@Justanothercyster I was exactly the same in pregnancy. All I felt like I did was moan non stop 🤣
