Pretty much plain sailing other than the lower segment of my uterus having some significant thinning which would have ruptured had I started having contractions or got bigger. The lovely surgeon has done a repair that would allow me to carry one more baby but only under very close monitoring (as if they don't do that with me anyway) and only as far as 36 weeks at most.
After all the steroid worries she didn't require any extra help and had no problems breathing on her own. One glucose reading from her that was borderline for being a little low, the rest were all perfect and she no longer needs any more glucose tests 🙌🏻
Katie has been an absolute dream but the postnatal ward has been tortuous hell.... if anyone can suggest how to sleep with one baby that has screamed since midnight until now, two women in the early stages of induction who are being observed hourly by some really noisy midwives on top of my own newborn that'd be much appreciated!!
I've now been awake for over 24 hours and it's beginning to catch up with me 🙈
