@paintfairy kept being recommended in hospital bag lists so I went for it 😆 the heavy bleeding after the birth means you don't need to worry about ruining any of your knickers as you can't go tampons and it's pad only

@2020mission how long is this even for? They do not show this on one born every minute! 🙈 I feel like I have gone into this blindly! 😱😫🤣

@DKDK123 it is a headache isn't it. I'm not sure how people can afford to have 2 in nursery at the same time. DD before her free hours we were paying around £700pm for 2.5 days at nursery a week 😭 DH is considering a job change at work just so he can do school drops off when she starts so I can up my hours still over 4 days.

Great news @whatwonder everything is ok. Those women sound awful though, hopefully you don't get them next time!

@paintfairy being freezing in pregnancy is a thing! It's definitely a thing, as is being awfully bloated is the very early bits

@DKDK123 @bez91 yeah costs are awful aren't they. I'm lucky in that with DS (and with this one) I have a lot of help from my parents & DH's who are nearby. I put X into nursery at age one & was able to manage work around him for a good months before, I think it's a good thing he'll be at school soon when this one arrives

@whatwonder sorry you had a bad experience it's not pleasant when that happens, but the range sounding normal is good. Did you get pictures you can look at more?

@2020mission again that sounds awful but good it looks good for baby 🤞🏻for the fluid being normal next week. What are disposable knickers for???

@paintfairy I'm with you! Wtf??? Also like @Kate105 & @Justanothercyster saying bleeding fir weeks?? What?? I think cheap knickers and throw away

Disposable knickers are just for post birth so you can bin them after wearing instead of wearing your good pants and ruining them by bleeding all over them 😆 that's all ladies, nothing fancy! They are very cheap.

See NHS recommended 😆 just incase you all think I'm mad.

The hospital put me in a pair of sexy pants that looked similar to this. Can't remember if I woke up from my section with them on or if they put them on after the catheter came out it's all a bit of a blur but I do remember thinking WTF 🤣

I've had to start thinking about childcare too @DKDK123 for TWO! Feck! Lol luckily we have a childminder across the road and my eldest will be 16 by the time I return to work which could help a little

@becarefuloutthere yes I've started feeling them now, it's strange still as I've felt them both separate. As they grow I will feel them more and more until they're both poking out 🤣 it's still surreal...

Wow I'm laid in bed in tears (nice ones)

Back story, I lost my dad aged 59 suddenly 7 years ago, and my daughters now 11/14 were his world. As a kid I absolutely LOVED snow!
This pregnancy I've had a slight sadness knowing my dad would have been so happy/proud for twin grandchildren and would have been so involved and the fact he won't meet then has been difficult at times.
I just went to the loo and looked outside and today, the day we find out the sexes, it's snowed!! ❤️ it sounds silly but it feels like it's a little sign from him that he's here to find out.

What a way to remember the day xx

@Minster2012 Me and OH will know at the scan, because I was so ill in pregnancy we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy a moment for us, so we have decided to have a day for us to go shopping and buy something for the babies and go and visit my grandma who can't make tomorrow to tell her first later (my dads mum) and just enjoy our secret before we share with everyone else 💖💙

Ummm I'm still in bed here with DS, it's def hibernating weather!! Need to unpack urgh but did 2 lots of washing last night so feeling a bit smug

We might do some baking today, and make the roasties for Xmas (& some for tonight too!) and also get out /find the Xmas decorations how hard can that be with a 3year old helping??

@Minster2012 we've had calls and messages asking from everyone 🤣 some have tired tripping us up with questions and others asking our right... the main question "are you happy then?"
So we have given to responding with "yes very as there are 2 happy healthy babies" 🤣🤣🤣

We have had lots of guesses @Kate105 and I would say they're 50/50 split boy boy and boy girl none for girl girl surprisingly!
