Anyone else find out there due in May 22 and want to share our journeys

Eugh I got hit with the MS last night. It wasn't what I was expecting.

I thought it would be like a little mini sick to relieve the nausea not an actual like you have food poisoning sickness with proper continual vomiting, cold sweats and shaking.

Still feel like shit today but thankfully thats my smoking problem solved.

After 4 previous early miscarriages I'm currently just over 4 weeks and due 20th May. Trying not to get my hopes up but also don't want to be negative and automatically cling to the worst! Because of my previous miscarriages I'm under the care of my local recurrent miscarriage centre. I'll be calling them when I reach about 6 weeks to book in for a scan and blood tests etc 🤞🏻💖

Congratulations to everyone else on here 🥳 It feels like time is going at half speed, I didn’t think I would feel this anxious so cannot wait to get to 12 weeks. Although I just got my 3+ on clear blue digital today at what I think is 5+2 weeks so feel like I can relax a bit and stop worrying so much now (easier said than done I know). This might seem like a stupid question but if I join the FB group, will it notify my friends? I have this horrible thought of everyone getting notified and finding out that way 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 Also, does anyone know how long before your first NHS scan do you get your letter inviting you? I have my midwife checking in appt on September 22nd so hopefully it will be a couple weeks after that. I am dying to be able to tell people, but also hoping every day that things will continue to be okay 🤞🏻 Thinking of anyone who is suffering with morning sickness, at the moment I only seem to have occasional sore back and cramping but I’m trying to enjoy that and brace myself for when it hits properly soon.

@Hope91 thank you so much, I still can't believe it! I had my first child almost 14 years ago, and decided quite quickly I wanted another, I just couldn't get pregnant. I've had so many friends meet partners, decide they want kids, and have a first, second and sometimes third in the time I've been waiting for this positive! I'm so excited... so excited infact, I booked a scan for this morning.

Apparently I'm 5+0, so we saw the sack this morning. It looks like a tiny eclipse! I'll go back for another scan in a couple of weeks just to ensure everything's progressing... I'm obsessed at this point!

I'm six weeks now but still so nervous. Scan booked in for 10 days' time but I can't stop fretting. Still POAS every day!

I think I've finally gotten over the POAS frenzy haha - never thought that would happen 😂

Anyone else's skin getting bad? I'm breaking out on my face and I normally don't get any spots so this is new!

Five weeks today and I could fall asleep standing up. Think it's an early night for me 😴

So not intentionally, but I've not eaten very much today and two dizzy spells, one which was really bad! I'm normally a gannet so it's unusual for me not to eat much, just been busy. Got a feast on the way though to make up for it 😅

Also lots of achy back again. My nephew is now said he might not be home till the week after next week. That's not fair, I was getting excited to start telling family 😂

Hello everyone! Joining this thread as I am due 8th May, first baby after 4 months of trying so all quite quick really!
Hope this sticks- not least because May is a great month for a birthday and weirdly loads of our family are May babies.

6 weeks bang on today- debating an early scan, but is that too early to detect heartbeat? HOW does it have a heartbeat? It's so small!!

Fingers crossed for sticky beans all round xx

@maymum94 thank you that will be good I think the threat does let us go to around 1000 though :) I know it’s so nice isn’t it :) so sorry to hear your sickness is still so awful! I hope the specialist can help

@IKIKIK congratulations :) symptoms sound very similar to mine :) that will be so exciting to get your scan at 8 weeks :)

@SerendipitySunshine poas addiction is so hard to kick I’m still testing at 5+2 but testing until I get my 3+ is the plan. I’ve also moved to the cheapies now but they are much lighter than the frer so I’m my head I’m like hmmm maybe until they are dark. I feel like I’ve lost the plot lol! I really hope the next 10 days go quickly for you and the scan is reassuring :)

@Positive21 sorry to hear about your dizzy spells lovely. Ive definitely found I have had less of an appetite. Oh no sorry about your nephew now coming back. Are you going to delay telling them now? How are you feeling today?

@wellitywell congratulations and welcome :) how amazing may seems perfect timing for you! Ive got my early scan booked in for Saturday at 6 weeks but it’s mad how little they still are isn’t it!!

So update from me lovelies at my usual slot of 4-5am.

Today via nhs timescales I am 5+2 however I think in reality looking at when I think I ovulated I may actually be 4+4 (18dpo). My clear blue digital went to 2-3 last weds which would tie in with this theory so I am hoping for 3+ weds (still 2-3 this morning). If this confirms that I am actually 4+4 and not 5+2 I am going to push Saturdays scan back as I at least want it to be able to confirm that it’s not an ectopic if nothing else. I find it all so confusing but keep reading that the nhs dating works on a day 14 ovulation and I defo ovulate later than that.

So anyway hovering somewhere between 4+4 and 5+2 symptoms have pretty much reduced to being just mega tired and a bit achy at the moment.

Cutest thing though if I am right and they date me at 4+4 our 12 weeks will land on our 12 year anniversary :) feels almost like fate- so even though that’s an extra 5 days to wait it would be super cute :) xx

@Hope91 yeah it will let us get to 1000 when we hit 900 I'll make the new one that was it gives everyone time to move over to the new thread.

My early scan is today I'm so nervous and excited. I'm 6 + 5 today

@Hope91 me too I'm really hoping I do as well. I'll update you all afterwards we go in at 9 so will be sometime afterwards by the time we come out. Really hoping everyone is Perfect inside. The nerves are really kicking in.

Make sure when booking scans ladies you always do early morning appointments nothing worst then sat like this for the entire day.

@maymum94 that is such a good idea for the morning. If I keep mine Saturday at what is nhs 6 weeks it’s at 14:40 and I think the morning will be torturous. Hadn’t even thought of that to be honest. Eek fingers crossed for you xx

@Hope91 I remember in my first the booked me for a afternoon one at 3pm and I booked our gender was n the afternoon too and I was too nervous 😬 sat waiting all day all my private's I'll book for first scan of the morning and will try request my nhs as first one as it's easy for me to have someone watch my daughter in the mornings too.

@LemonSwan I got my first MS at 6 weeks today and it’s horrendous, still currently sat on bathroom floor unwilling to move. Was sat googling yesterday panicking I did t feel much and this is deffo punishment!!

@wellitywell I’m 6 weeks today and got my app notification that their heart is definitely beating now so you should be able to pick up on a scan if you wanted on. Mines on Friday at 6+4.

@maymum94 good luck! Although 😩 as mines at 12.20!! Though I’m only on half day at work so busy in meetings until I finish at 12 so hoping that keeps me going.

7 weeks tomorrow and just have nausea the cramps aren't as bad now my boobs aren't sore anymore is this normal? Going to get an early scan this week to reassure me xx
