@Dollface20 brown is okay as it's your bottle cleaning out still. Just be wary of any new pink or red blood.

@AllyCat31 I would actually just set up camp somewhere and refuse to move! Never mind doing twice!! Hah yeah careful why you wish for. If it helps for your OH they can’t do right anymore, my OH was breathing too loudly and annoying me the other day. There was no reason for it to be so aggressively loud 😂😂

@Positive21 I feel a lot more sane about it all now, like I’ve made the peace that I’m pregnant so can recommend stopping! Get some digitals and then at least something there if you do decide to want to pee on something?

@MummaRainbowbaby2 I got booked in with my hospital for 6 + 4 weeks today if that helps you choose a date ☺️

Haha how dare he @LS2020 I wish we could just move the once but our house isn’t finished yet and we had to let our buyers complete on our flat by a certain date in September so needs must!

Oh no @Dollface20 can you get a private scan? I hear lots of stories of bleeding and I hear that it’s okay as long as you’re not soaking through a pad.. but obviously still get checked etc and put your mind at ease if you can

Celina94 · 03/09/2021 13:14

@Dollface20 I had brown discharge last week went to A&E and they did my bloods and the hcg levels were fine

I had a scan today (5 weeks +1 or 2) and gestational sac was in the right place and the right size which means hcg increased since blood test last week. So assuming the brown discharge wasn't anything to worry about. However they couldn't yet see the yolk sac .. they didn't seem to concerned however as said it was too early (normally yolk sac becomes visible during later days of 5 weeks to 6 weeks so I may have been just a little bit too early!) They booked me in to have another scan booked for 2 weeks time!

Xx

@Dollface20 you should be able to call the early pregnancy part of your hospital most will get you in snd check on you. I'd give them a call or 111 snd ash who can you speak with. I've known many in my last pregnancy that bleed throughout there pregnancy and baby's have been fine bleeding isn't always a bad sign. Especially brown blood. Do try snd see if you can be seen. It's always a worry when you see that.

@LS2020 thank you! I'm going to call my doctor and ask for an early scan see if they will refer me or do the private one luckily I have window to the womb at the end of my road!

MummaRainbowbaby2 · 03/09/2021 14:06

@Dollface20 hi I've had brown discharge too on and off for over a week didn't have it last pregnancies but apparently its really common as long as its not bright red

MummaRainbowbaby2 · 03/09/2021 14:09

Did anyone use one step strip tests? I've been using them every day and the lines not getting any darker I used 2 first responses to confirm the pregnancy and they were bright and pink

@Dollface20 tell them that you are bleeding and having cramps - that's what i did xx

maymum94 · 03/09/2021 17:10

@Dollface20 say exactly what @Celina94 said. Don't think negative yet please, brown discharge is very common honestly it's the link and ted you need to keep an eye on. Some people bleed red there entire pregnancy too, I knew a girl who bleed ever two weeks the whole time she as pregnant. Every women's body is different think positive until told otherwise. Sending hugs x

I've felt so nauseous all day and had an awful headache. Been nibbling on biscuits but it's not going away. I'm only 4 weeks I thought this wouldn't happen for a couple more weeks yet.

@Dollface20 positive tests are definitely a good sign if it was signs of miscarriage the lines would already be changing. If at all over the weekend you are concerned go to a&e. The early stage is the worst it only feels better when baby is in your arms then a whole new level of stress and worry kicks in.

I phoned the midwife department today regarding my cramps I keep having and she says it's totally normal and to be in touch if any sign of blood so anyone with cramps don't worry! Roll on the 13 week scan! Xx
