Oh cece, my darling - I'm fighting back tears here. So so unfair. You were such a comfort to me when we mc together at the beginning of last year - why is this happening to you now?. I know you probably won't get this, but I just wanted to at least try and let you know that I am thinking of you.

My neighbour here just went through the same thing - baby died at 23 weeks. Why is making life so difficult and unfair at times?

what a lot of kind thoughts and messages. I am touched.

I am back. All went OK. Had gas and air and pethidine which pretty much got me through pain wise. At 2.45 am I had my little girl. We have named her Hope.

Spent quite a few hours with her and now home. Midwives have made me a lovely memory book with photos and momentoes.

Cece, i know we dont 'know' each other but you have been on my mind for a couple of days now.

CeCe you have chosen a lovely name for your baby girl. It's lovely to hear you got a memory book and pictures of your little girl.

goingfor3 -The name came to me during the night. Thanks for your advice about painkillers and so on...

No need for a post mortem either as she was born with the cord tightly wrapped around her neck and one arm, so pretty obvious why she suddenly died.

cece you were so unlucky, I'm so sorry that Hope had the cord wrapped around her. Will you be having a funeral for her?

I am so sorry Cece. I'm so glad that you had the time with your precious little girl. It sounds like the staff their have treated you very humanely.
At least you know why and I hope that is a little bit of comfort to you.
