Hi all, couldn't see an April 2022 birth thread so thought I would start one.
I'm due mid April but need a dating scan to confirm as I have an irregular cycle.

@shannonl26 I've brought a couple too 🙊
I just couldn't resist haha it's so hard isn't it.

Are you finding out the sex or having a surprise? :)

@BrightSide1987 when I went for my last scan baby had hiccups 😂 It's so surreal isn't it!

We're having a surprise & not finding out the sex, however... that hasn't stopped me stalking Google trying to work out if I could find out haha! Not a clue what I'm looking for but that's good cause means I won't give it away for myself 😂

I'm further gone than expected, I thought I was 11+6 but I'm 12+3 and baby is due April 15th

I had a very very full bladder & she said for future reference a glass of water would have been fine. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Hello! I'm 12 weeks pregnant today, which after a miscarriage at 9 weeks earlier this year feels like quite an accomplishment in itself!
Yesterday we got the Harmony test results back from the lab and it's all looking pretty good - I also now know I'm having a baby girl!!!

I have my 12-week scan with NHS booked for this afternoon. There's a part of me that still worries something might be wrong with baby and that we might not see a heartbeat today, even though we saw her last week at 10+5 and she was thriving. I'm hoping the worrying will ease as the weeks go by.

Hello ladies! Just an update had my scan today all went perfect, I’m 12+6 so due 15th April! Starting to feel very real!!

12-week scan went very well! :) Our little girl is doing great, mom is still struggling with nausea though!

It's so exciting and reassuring to see them on the screen - now a week on from mine and I'm considering if I can justify an extra private one (my DW despairs at me!)

@irene88 congratulations!! I'm exactly like you before scans I still always worry but as soon as I see heartbeat I relax a little 🥰
I'm 13+6 & still suffer every now & then with nausea but am I lot better then I was so hopefully it calms down for you soon

I have completely gone off sweet stuff recently I've ALWAYS had a sweet tooth especially in the evenings but now It just does nothing for me & I prefer something a little more savoury 😂
Im in such awe what my body is doing it's so strange how it makes you feel 😂

How is everyone feeling? I've got a fun new thing of it taking an absolute age to have a wee... baby is clearly deciding it's a fun game to block my pipes so I'm down to a trickle! How are other people's symptoms? X

Hi I’m due 27th April I think - nervously awaiting my scan which I’m in the morning! I’m also 42 and it’s a surprise baby, I have a almost 16 year old a 12 year old and a nine year old!

I have a 11 year age gap between me & my sister & I'll be honest it's really quite nice 🥰

The other one that amazes me is when I've just been for a wee & then 10 mins later I need another & it's a full on wee again 😂
I seem to have gone backwards a little and have been feeling a little sick the past couple of mornings & ive also been getting nose bleeds 🤷🏼‍♀️
But am very appreciative my appetite has come back allthough I've gone off sweet stuff. Chocolates sweets ect not bothering me at all 🤔

@rosiej95 yes we done an announcement after! Was exciting telling all our friends that we don’t see or speak too every day. I hope you start to feel better again soon. Apart from my sore boobs & the rare occasion I feel sick I’m honestly feeling fine 😂

Anybody doing a gender reveal? I’ve got my scan booked for Nov 4th & then our reveal will be on the 7th, honestly it cannot come quick enough 😂 I am convinced we’re having a girl. But I’ll be happy either way! Anyone else got a feeling of gender?

Hey, I would like to introduce myself - I am 13 weeks pregnant with my first. We are due on the 22nd April - so due date twins with @Timeflyin and almost with @irene88!
We are having a boy - have no patience at all so found out on the harmony test! We are very excited as had been trying with letrozole prior to this and I am 35yrs old (partner is 38yrs). We haven’t told anyone yet apart from my partners mum who is over the moon! This will be her fourth grandchild but first grandson so she is super excited!
Not sure when we will tell family and friends- when did everyone else decide to do this?
It’s so nice to actually join the pregnancy thread - have been following the ttc thread for a while :)

Hey - we also have our gender scan booked for 4 nov!!!! Exciting!!!!

@Dreambow congratulations! :)

We had a private scan at 7 weeks & then told parents.
& told our best friends at 11 weeks
& then the Rest of our family when we had our nhs scan.

I think it's your own personal choice when you want to tell people.
Because we had kept it to ourselves for so long it was weird people knowing 😂 in a good way tho because we had been in our own little secret bubble for a while. 🥰

Hi everyone! How's everything feeling?

Thought I'd share this with you all as it'll make you chuckle!

Pregnancy sickness took over last night with literally a split second to spare. Couldn’t get as far as the toilet so threw up in the bathroom sink. A lot. Then I cried. A lot. My partner, being the hero he is, came in brandishing the cat’s spork and proceeded the scoop it all out of the sink and into the toilet. Not a word of complaint. Tucked me up into bed, told me he loved me while I cried that I smelled of sick. What a bloke 😂

How are you feeling today?

I'm having to self isolate for 10 days as I'm only single jabbed & have been in contact with someone with covid. But ive also come down with a cold 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I'm waiting for my pcr results just to make sure it is a cold. 🙈

Congratulations @Dreambow - so excited for you! My wife and I were exactly the same, did a Harmony test as we couldn't bear to wait! It's nice knowing but our plan not to tell family and friends the sex went out the window after about 5 mins when the excitement got too much! We are also having a boy 

@shannonl26 glad it went well telling everyone - it's so lovely to share the excitement with people!
