Hi all, couldn't see an April 2022 birth thread so thought I would start one.
I'm due mid April but need a dating scan to confirm as I have an irregular cycle.

Hi guys :) how are you all doing? I’m 8 weeks today and struggling badly with sickness. Doctor today switched me from cyclizine to ondansetron so I’m really hoping this helps! How are you guys coping with the sickness and nausea?!

Im about 5 weeks (due 23d April) not experienced any sickness or nausea yet! the only symptoms im experiencing is breast tenderness which is identical to just before my period and Im absolutely starving! fingers crossed I dont get any nausea as I really do hate being sick!

Can I join please?

6 week 5 days today - I've got sore boobs and nipples but other than that no symptoms at all!

Has anyone else got other kids? I've got a 3 year old too!

@BertieTheBungalow I also have a 3 year old! Feeling very guilty at the moment as we aren’t able to go on our usual adventures atm

Hello everyone. I am around 6 weeks (based on last period) and have had two previous missed miscarriages. I don't feel pregnant at all. Tender boobs if pressed but not swollen or heavier. I had implantation brown spotting a few days after my BFP and have had some mild cramping since. I am on low dose aspirin as a precaution (because of previous losses) but honestly I don't feel pregnant at all. Bit of bloating and that's it. I am so anxious that the thought of having a scan fills me with dread. I'm just praying that this pregnancy works out! Xx

I'll join in too. 7+6 today. Got my booking appointment next Wednesday!

Hi everyone! I’m 6 weeks and this is my first pregnancy. We were having some fertility treatment so had an early scan yesterday and heard the heartbeat! Starting to feel a bit real now! I’m a little queasy from time to time but not super nauseous. Full sore boobs and absolutely exhausted all the time are my main symptoms so far.

@Lauren87E I definitely have days where I just feel fine. It must be so worrying after losses but this is a different egg, a different sperm and a different pregnancy Could you get an early reassurance scan?

👋 Thank you for your reply! Congratulations by the way! Did they confirm you were six weeks at your scan? Only I conceived on the 4th of august so I don't know if I'm too early? I'm 6 weeks if I go by my last period. I tried to look to book one last night with window to the womb but you need to be 7 weeks or over. 😊

Yes, although she said measurements aren’t completely accurate this early. I thought I was 6w+3 but was measuring 5w+6. She said the 12 week would be better for dating. I think we conceived on 27/7 so around 6 weeks is what I expected.

I've booked a reassurance scan for 8th September when I will be 8 week 3 days, hoping by then there will be a good heartbeat to hear!

Currently 8 weeks 1 day after 2 previous losses so praying this is our rainbow 🌈

Same for me I've lost 2 in last 18 months. I've another scan Thursday afternoon.
I had one and i was 6weeks 4 days, I'll be 8 weeks on Thursday when I have my other scan.
I'm just so on edge as no signs just having heavy boobs now and again.

@BertieTheBungalow hi ya I have 3 others. I have 15, 10 and 7.
Only heavy boobs now and again that's it 🤷‍♀️ worry as I've already lost 2 in 18 months! Hope all goes well with you and your pregnancy x

I've had a miscarriage before my DS came along, and then we have been TTC since Feb!

I'm hoping I start to feel a bit more pregnant soon, although I've got lower back ache and I'm so tired!

@Lauren87E hiya, I booked with window to the womb for when I thought I was 6+4 or 5 but when scanned (they had to do internal/transvaginal due to how early I was) they measured me at 6+1 and found a heartbeat!
They do recommend waiting until at least week 7 but I was very impatient and they didn't question why I booked early!
Have my second reassurance scan tomorrow at 8+4, very nervous but also so excited ❤️🤞🏻

Hi, I am currently 5w+2 and feeling quite nervous. I had a complete molar pregnancy earlier this year and I had to have an erpc at 9 weeks. I only got the ok from my consultant to start TTC last month after 6 months of follow up monitoring - I did not expect to get a BFP the first month of trying! I have my booking appointment scheduled on what will be 9w but the midwife has referred me for an early scan to confirm this pregnancy is progressing normally. I have been given a number to call when I am 6 weeks to get my early scan booked in. I am struggling to not stress while waiting for my scan.

I'm now 6 weeks and 1 day- baby size of blueberry lol

@Lauren87E hi 👋🏻 I had an early reassurance scan at 6 weeks going by my last period but because I must have ovulated late in the cycle, the pregnancy was only looking like 3-4 weeks. The lady was lovely and she re-booked me back in for 3 weeks after the appointment to make sure everything is progressing and the second scan is free of charge. I’ve just had my 3+ this morning on a clear blue. I’ve done them the last 3 sundays and progressed from 1-2, 2-3 and now 3+ so all I can do is wait for my next scan which isn’t until the 10th.

@80sPadme I was only thinking to myself last night that I hadn’t felt very nauseous yet and then boom it hit me this morning. According to my calculations I am 6 weeks 4 days and feel awful today

Hi all. I'm due on 1st May but I guess it's more likely I have the baby on late April.

This is my first baby, we tried for 14 months and decided to take a break as I'm going to start in a new job. It was literally the first time we weren't trying, I didn't even know I was in my fertile window!

Today I'm 5 weeks pregnant and still waiting for the hospital. I sent my referral last week. I was thinking in having my first scan at week 13 as I'm a teacher and this will be during my half term. Do you think it's too late? Do they take appt on weekends?

I don't have any symptoms but my pijama feels too tight. I just bought a scale to control my weight.

I think I may be in the same boat as you with dates. I’m going to try and relax a little bit and wait for my midwife appointment and see how I’m feeling. If I still have no symptoms then I will ask for an early scan. If they say no then I will book privately. I hate so much that previous losses take away the joy of being pregnant. Congratulations to you by the way xxx

I'm 5 weeks + 4 days with baby #5
Due end of April but once baby reaches around 8+ pounds I will get induced (which happened at 38 weeks with baby #4)
I'm expecting to meet this baby mid-late April, all being well. Fingers crossed.

Trying to resist the urge to get a private re-assurance scan....

I haven't heard back from midwife Re getting booked in yet but am I right in thinking that won't be till 8 weeks anyway?
I can't remember and I think it's changed since my last three years ago (and with Covid)

My pregnancy is a complete secret so far. Just me and my DP know. I don't know how I've resisted telling my best friend! And we're spending next week with all my family and my best friend at the coast so it's going to be hard to not say anything. I'm normally such a fob gob!
Everyone's going to be quite shocked, some not in a good way (my MIL) 🙄
so want to plan the reveal and try and make it positive regardless of people's opinions!

@Lauren87E I think so too lovely. I paid for a private scan because I haven’t even heard from a midwife yet. I’ve spoken to my GP and they’ve referred me but they said it could take between 8 and 12 weeks to get a response. I know things are slower because of covid etc but that’s a long time to wait. If I haven’t heard anything this next week I’m going to phone them and ask.

Had our 2nd private scan, we have a healthy, happy and wriggly baby that is measuring approx 8+6! ❤️🤞🏻
Everything apparently looks good and we are over the moon!
