@jade0881 that 10 days will soon be round ❤ Its really put me on a high and excited! I went to the little gift shop to buy the blue knitted jumper so when I got home I showed it to hubby and our kiddies along with scan pics x

My Anatomy scans not until August 12th - even though we know what we’re having & already having had a bunch of low risk tests - we’re so anxious to see baby again - can anyone tell me what’s considered the normal percentile for 20 w 5 d’s - ? Thanks in advance - did I say how much I 💙this group

@jade0881 yeah they are all so happy and excited! When I got home from the scan my son said wheres the baby? despite me telling him it was a scan he expected me to bring baby home which was funny lol
@JW2021 that will soon be here and every look at the baby is amazing every time 😊 I'm not really sure whats the normal percentile at this stage I think they start measuring from 24weeks and plot the growth measurements after midwife measures your belly x

Hey everyone, Due on the 27th although i will be having baby on the 20th .. i had a small bleed and was in hospital with a nasty urine infection after i got home i got a letter in the post saying that i have STREP B? I didn't have this with my little boy and its scaring me. I had an early scan and its a little girl for us! My 20 week can is a week tomorrow can't wait to see her again x

With the 20week scan was it just a scan and off you pop or did you see consultant or midwife or bloods or anything aswell? I cant remember with my DD.

Well in the USA it’s a 30 mins anatomy scan for measurements etc - then a dr visit to discuss or answer ?’s

Anyone know about percentiles?

Yeah was just a straight forward scan (england) no meeting or bloods this time normally takes around 30mins but was longer as baby wasn't in correct position for spine measurement so kept getting sent out to walk around for 5mins etc so was more like an hour today lol I've got consultants by phonecard in 2 weeks time but thats because I'm under consultant care for birth so its probably different for all of us wether its country or county etc

@julzx hi and congrats! Hope all is well with you now,I bet its scary....nothing I've experienced but each pregnancy is so different and am sure others will have had the same and you can share info x bet your excited for the scan x I'm due on 17th Dec found out he's a boy today and will be my 5th baby x

Felt my first proper 'kick' and roll at 20+2 today and I am just so happy 😁
What was everyone's experience in their 20w scan? Mine is on Thursday so any advice would be appreciated! X

@julzx a lot of people have Strep B and it's usually harmless. You might need an antibiotic IV drip during labour to prevent passing it on at birth to baby but otherwise no issues I don't think?

I've got to get my whooping cough vaccine alongside my 20 week scan but otherwise I don't think they are doing anything else. I'm a little worried as they've booked my vaccination for 10 mins before the scan and knowing hospitals I don't see me getting in and out for the jab that quickly 😬 and I really don't want to end up late for the scan!

@julzx aww hun I'm so sorry to hear that. I think I will have to google strep b!🤦🏽‍♀️I've not heard of it. I hope all is well now. Congrats on finding out tour having a baby girl

My friend has strep b and gave birth to a beautiful girl on Friday!

Nothing too much to worry about apart from getting infections easily, they will give you antibiotics whilst giving birth to prevent passing it on!

I have been told i will get my whooping cough vaccine at 20 week scan, i think thats all untill i see my midwife again at 25 weeks x
