7+3 today, got first scan in few days- hoping everything ok. Feeling nauseous on and off

Had one at 7+6 last week and saw the heartbeat flicker, amazing!

The constipation has been awful for me, I honestly cried for two hours the other day it was so painful. I'm drinking orange with bits, eating dates, weetabix, whole grains, warm water, loads of fruit and veg and it's not helping. Anyone have any other tips?

Sachet of movicol in a drink before going to bed is only thing that works for me. And making sure not to take a pregnancy supplement that has iron in it! I can't believe the packets don't warn you about constipation when constipation is so common in pregnancy. I took the pregnacare ones for ages not realising that iron makes you constipated and ended up in a very bad state indeed.

I’m not a fan of this heat, usually I love it but at the moment it’s not for me!!
I definitely feel some symptoms easing last few days (I’m 10+4) but feeling awful in this heat 🥵 And I can’t seem to cool down! Constantly feel hot!!

Any cooling tips?? I’m currently finding the paddling pool and ice lollies are my saviour 😂

Omg haha stop I thought this was just me. Me and my partner were cracking up at how my body hair has gone yesterday. So strange how your body changes!

OK so this is weird, my boobs have suddenly shrunk. They're annoyingly still sore but have gone smaller again and less firm. I'm 9+4. Has anyone else had anything like this?

Baby purchases, I don't know how I haven't, but I haven't. As soon as the first scan is done I think the flood gates will open!

@babyD20 I'm a proper hairy Mary right now. I've never known anything like it. Roll on the winter!

Omg I was happy this morning, I felt well enough to deep clean the kitchen and clean the bathroom as normal etc.

Now I feel awful again.

10w3d today. Hopefully the symptoms are lessening.

Anyone doing the harmony test?

@mswales the coffee fruit and juice is still doing the trick atm, but I might get a stash of movocol in just case!

@whistlers I was planning to have the harmony test but then mentioned to my midwife and she has said they offer a new test since June of this year at the 12 week scan - results come back a lot quicker than the two weeks for Harmony. So I'm planning to have it done at the scan, and if it shows any issues, to go get the Harmony or the Safe afterwards

Ive already been sent a gestational diabetes appointment. Not until November though

We probably don't get any additional tests done apart from ultrasound and take it from there if there are any obvious organ issues.
I wouldn't know what to do with a bad result from a nuchal fold, combined blood test, harmony test. Just burying my head in the sand and hoping for the best.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 wow I didn't know that! Do you know if you can have the test to find out the sex without the tests for downs etc too? I told my midwife I didn't want them, but she didn't mention about finding out the sex.

My symptoms are definitely decreasing too. I've not had much morning sickness all weekend and had more energy. Boobs have pretty much gone back to normal too.

Thank you all for the comments on the scan. I can't wait to see the thread flooding with scans in the next week or so.

Is anyone else craving anything? I've noticed I'm constantly wanting salty foods, salt and vinegar/ ready salted french fries intact, or salty chips!!

I finally have my booking appointment now. Will be Friday when I'll be 11 weeks!
