Thought I'd start a new thread for us expecting March 2022!

Congratulations!!

I'm 4+2 with my first, conceived via IVF. I have endo & adeno so pretty nervous. Have told hubby & my sis so far but it's hard keeping the excitement in! It's been a long TTC journey over the last 5 years...

Hope everyone is feeling well in these early days xx

Completely get that anxious feeling @Meg791 ... Trying to keep myself calm!

Ahh nice to see other people getting reassurance scans too, will also aim for 7 weeks.

I spoke to GP today who sent me details to self refer to midwifery unit. They said they contact you at about 7 weeks to make your first appointment. Feels so unreal I think until you've had a scan!

Shortmamashortcycles · 28/06/2021 20:34

Fingers are crossed for you @MissL85! I hope you get the extra support you need in the next few weeks.

@WhenShallIShare, congrats and welcome! I also had GD with my first so am resigning myself to another ridiculously healthy second and third trimester. (As long as I make it that far!) Goodbye cake, so long chocolate. We'll meet again soon...

Really hoping you avoid some of those complications this time around!

Cuwins · 28/06/2021 20:36

I am also planning a scan at 7 weeks. But don’t plan on booking it until I get past 6 as that’s been my problem week the previous 2 times and it was horrible having to ring and cancel the one I had booked last time.
I have also filled in the self referral form for maternity service at the local hospital

Thank you 😘 good luck with yours too, hope you don’t get HG again this time either x

Hi ladies! Got my bfp this weekend and have a due date of the 4th March. It really hasn’t sunk in yet! Had achey boobs, loss of appetite and very tight feeling across my stomach for the past week. Whilst each symptom is annoying, if they disappear for a few hours then I do start getting a bit twitchy and winder if everything is ok! Confused

Sorbfsiabs · 28/06/2021 21:10

Tentatively joining here.. is there a Facebook group yet? If so I'd appreciate a PM x

Shortmamashortcycles · 28/06/2021 21:13

@Sorbfsiabs, there is - look for March 2022 Mumsnet.

I've joined but full confession, I don't really use fb much any more so may not be v active!

Sorbfsiabs · 28/06/2021 21:15

Ah I'm definitely not joining a public one 🤣 Ive barely told my husband

Cuwins · 28/06/2021 21:20

I have quite a lot of period like cramps this evening. This can be quite normal right?

Shortmamashortcycles · 28/06/2021 21:28

@Sorbfsiabs, no it's a private group otherwise some rather tenuous acquaintances would know more than my mum! But I just don't use fb much at all so will definitely forget to check.

Sorbfsiabs · 28/06/2021 21:34

@Shortmamashortcycles I can see some people in that group and click their profiles, it freaks me out a little. I definitely don't want people knowing yet. I might join later xx

Hello all, I am 5 weeks tomorrow with my first. I had a MC at 6 wees over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. I am so happy to be here again, but also anxious. I think once I get to 6 weeks I will get an early scan booked in for around 7/8 weeks. I will also call the midwife as I have been putting that off as I didn't want to be ringing and cancelling again! 😔

My EDD I'd 1/2 March, I have been loitering over on the due Feb thread for a while as there was n March one, I have spotted some familiar faces over here, hi @Lya4 and @Ofpalestsilver 🖐

I get what @Sorbfsiabs is saying, i would like to join a Facebook group but feel the group name needs to be more obscure, or I will need to wait until its common knowledge x

AvantGardening · 28/06/2021 22:24

I’ve just tested today and got a positive. I’m a bit freaked out as our two year old was a hard won IVF baby and I’ve been bleeding lightly for over a week. Guess I’ll start up the medical stuff tomorrow.

OrangeBiscuits · 28/06/2021 22:27

Hi all, I am 5 weeks following an mmc in January. I got to 12 weeks last time before finding out that the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. So I am cautiously hopeful this time, but won't book a private scan till around 10 weeks.

If all goes well, the baby will arrive just after DD's third birthday.

My last two pregnancies were symptomless apart from absolute exhaustion in the first trimester. Now just waiting for the exhaustion to hit!

Hi 👋🏼 I recognise your name too! Yay this March group is growing by the minute!
CurlyNo2 · 28/06/2021 22:42

Well the nausea has hit me hard tonight!!!

This all feels do different to my pregnancy with my son.

Lya4 · 28/06/2021 22:42

@Cuwins

I am too and had the same last night. It's definitely normal! My stomach is so bloated right now I must look 4 months gone already!
Neom87 · 28/06/2021 23:02

@lya4 oh the bloating is insane, I have IBS so am prone to it anyway but my god last night I looked absolutely huge!!

Lya4 · 28/06/2021 23:40

@Neom87 I suffer with that too, horrible isn't it.

It's so much easier to hide early pregnancy in the winter under jumpers and coats. I have no idea how I'm going to keep it a secret for very long in summer!

Especially from the school mums at school pickup who are on tummy watch with everyone to guess who's expecting 🤰

Anyone got any good style tips? 😆

MissL85 · 29/06/2021 06:36

I'm 4+6 and finding that I'm having more bowel movements in a day than I normally would have. I'm normally a 3 times a day woman but I went 5 times yesterday. Is this normal and is anyone else having this symptom?

Oh style wise I’m loving the fact that current style is floaty dresses with all that extra fabric, are they called tiered dresses? I feel those hide a multitude of things 😂

I'm joining on here too... just found out I'm pregnant with my first. Very excited and nervous! Estimated due date is 1st March. I am a bit confused though as I was tracking my periods using the Flo app and that says I am 6 weeks and 2 days, whereas Pregnancy + says 5 weeks and 1 day. Can anyone shed any light? Congratulations everyone Thanks

Fizzyfluff · 29/06/2021 11:07

@Rolopolo21

Hi all! Found out I was expecting and worked out to be March! But we did an early test before period. Due period today/tomorrow and have woken up with brown discharge? Everyone telling me Not to worry and it’s implantation etc (two pregnancy tests were really strong). But I’m worried It’s the start of my period! Feel such a fool after telling my children I was pregnant.
Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. But honestly the best thing you can do is drink loads of water and rest
