@Laufey023 I'm so sorry to hear that ♥️ as said above it's the same in my area, contact your GP and they will refer you to epu, they will then ring to arrange an appointment with you, should be today or tomorrow I would have thought, they will scan you and talk to you about the result ♥️ xx

OliviaGrace15 · 03/06/2021 08:39

@Lowkeyloopy I've been getting pain on my right side mostly, and mostly in the evenings, It varies from cramping to stabbing pains and also when I sneeze or move too quickly I get sharp pains across the whole bottom of my stomach, I guess it's stretching / the side the egg was released xx

Tabbycat92 · 03/06/2021 09:16

@Laufey023 I'm so sorry, fingers crossed it's not the worst. From experience of my MC, EPU refused to scan anyone below 6weeks as there isn't a heartbeat before then. Fingers crossed the one near you is a different policy! Here we ring EPU direct rather than through GP.
Try your hardest to relax and stay calm xx

Laufey023 · 03/06/2021 15:26

Thank you for your kind words and support. I went to the EPU and I got a scan, blood tests etc but the bleeding got heavier, so it must be a MC. I leave this thread now, sorry I had brought negative vibes. All the best to you, ladies!

Tabbycat92 · 03/06/2021 15:27

@Laufey023 I'm so so sorry. I know nothing we can say will make it any easier. Look after yourself ❤️

@Laufey023 take care of yourself and be kind to yourself, take all the time you need to heal physically and mentally and then I'm sure it will happen for you before you know it ♥️♥️

I've got a call back from the Doctor today for a uti

Has anyone experienced this when pregnant? I'm so nervous it's going to harm the baby!

Tabbycat92 · 04/06/2021 11:59

@SBfern sorry to hear that. However I have heard of a few people with UTIs in pregnancy and babies have been fine xx

Msd2416 · 04/06/2021 12:27

I've got a call back from the Doctor today for a uti

Hope you're not feeling too poorly! If treated (which clearly you're doing!) It will be fine xx
LG93 · 04/06/2021 14:16

I told my manager today, it's earlier than I planned but I trust him to keep to himself, and I had hyperemesis last time so wanted to warn him. Was also concerned that with us all still working from home on days I'm feeling tired/poorly I didn't want him thinking I was just being lazy! I also know it took several months to hand over my role last time I went on maternity, and with colleagues leaving/new joiners those I will need to hand over to have much less experience so will take longer, so wanted to let him know so we can start covertly handing things over/doing training etc early on. I worked until 36 weeks last time and then 2 days into mat leave routine midwife appt picked up complications leading to early delivery at 37 weeks, so think I might go a bit earlier this time to get some rest in just in case!!

SBfern · 04/06/2021 14:24

@LG93 I don't feel to bad, my lower back and pelvis are just a little uncomfortable (which I put down to body changes) but then it started to burn a little when I went to to the toilet.
Luckily I have some urine dip strips from before and it came back with high levels of leukocytes which means an infection is present

SBfern · 04/06/2021 14:27

@lg93 It's better to warn them early! Help them get prepared

I work in a school so I will have to tell my line manager soon as there are certain things I won't be able to do

Tabbycat92 · 04/06/2021 15:45

Congratulations and welcome @Msd2416

@LG93 I'm thinking of telling my manager soon too. It makes me think she might reduce some of the stress currently on me as she knows I MCd last time.

Dreamer30 · 04/06/2021 20:33

Girls I'm in the same boat. I work in a school kitchen so it's very hot and requires heavy lifting and a lot of bending over to clean a million tables multiple times a day lol I feel like I should tell my manager too just so she's mindful of what I'm doing. MC at 5w+2d last time. I'm 5w tomorrow and all seems good so far so hopefully a good sign!

Lowey97 · 04/06/2021 21:19

Hi everyone can I join? 4+2 today. Due roughly 9th Feb Smile
I have really sore boobs / nipples, my skin is so spotty and I’m having occasional on / off cramping. Anyone else got these symptoms?

lovelly · 04/06/2021 23:35

lowey97 yes i have tis sympton 4 week 4 days pregnant

Pennyh123 · 05/06/2021 07:07

Hi, Please could I tentatively join? 4+4 today with #3, due around 8th Feb. I already have a 4 and 6 year old. Had an early loss in April at 5+5 so feeling especially on edge this time round. I have an underactive thyroid so following my early loss, my medication dosage has increased - fingers crossed it’ll help this time x

Tabbycat92 · 05/06/2021 09:06

Hello and congratulations @Lowey97 yes I had similar symptoms, things have calmed down a little now at 5weeks

Hi @Pennyh123 and welcome. I'm in a similar situation to you, had an early mc at 4+6 back in March so massively anxious. I passed that point yesterday and am now 5w keeping my fingers and toes crossed

Lowey97 · 05/06/2021 09:42

That’s good to hear @Tabbycat92 Smile
I’ve already known a week, time is going slow!
