My ob/gyn felt that I was nervous and told me to come see him tomorrow, at a bit over 5 weeks. I'm just happy to talk to someone haha

SBfern · 02/06/2021 13:49

@Laurenbsmith2809 congratulations on your positive!

@lg93 hopefully it will all go smoothly for you!

Anyone else struggling to eat healthy right now? All I wanna eat is comfort/junk food 😅 I know I need to be healthy for the pregnancy, but I just have no resistance to it. Currently tucking into a bag of drumstick squashies

Im all about the beige food as it's the only thing my nausea will allow. I had hyperemesis first time round and are appallingly but a consultant told me that baby will be fine as they'll take what they need before my body takes for itself, so I just took a multivitamin and lived off beige and hoped for the best!

I'm in the same boat, I would die for ice cream, chocolate and my new favourite: fizzy cola flavour lances Grin And strawberries, I couldn't find any strawberries at the weekend in any shop nearby Sad
Tabbycat92 · 02/06/2021 15:57

@LG93 I shamefully was similar with my DS though I had no sickness!
I worry about the size I'll be by the end of this pregnancy, I'm starting out almost a stone heavier than last pregnancy.

@Laufey023 ooo yes, all the sweets!

The benefit of the sickness was I was only 11lbs heavier when induced at 37 weeks than my booking weight! I did then put another stone on top of my full term weight though post delivery, but have got it off and then some more so going into this pregnancy a stone and a half lighter than last time, still overweight, but needed to make some improvements as was on crutches with severe SPD from about 18 weeks so thought I'd better get myself into better shape this time, at least that way if it happens again I can say I tried my best to avoid it!

Lowkeyloopy · 02/06/2021 17:05

Congrats and welcome all! @LG93 and @Laurenbsmith2809 - looks like we have similar EDDs! My apps can’t agree whether mine would be 10 or 11 Feb!

Trying to listen to my own reassuring words of earlier about cramping... I’m getting some this afternoon and it feels just like when AF is about to come, with low back ache and everything. Freaked out!

OliviaGrace15 · 02/06/2021 17:48

@Lowkeyloopy if possible try have a lay down and drink water I've heard that helps 😊 I got into bed when mine started yesterday and it went after a couple of hours, they're starting up again tonight, seems to be an evening thing for me x

@Tabbycat92 yes! All I want are chips and ready salted crisps!

I think trying to eat some vegetables and fibre though as I'm struggling with constipation 😭

Tabbycat92 · 02/06/2021 17:55

And now the parents-in-law are paying for Chinese so 🤷‍♀️😂😂😂

Laurenbsmith2809 · 02/06/2021 18:14

@Lowkeyloopy I’ve had the odd crampy feeling today and it does make you panic abit, this will be my fourth baby and remember having the same with all of them.

bunnyrabbit93 · 02/06/2021 22:02

im pretty sure light cramping is normal i had it with all my pregnacys.
Praying i get my scan through soon and all goes well 🙏

lovelly · 03/06/2021 04:09

hi all sorry i didn't read all messages but does any one have pinkinsh to brown spotting the day of period sorry for asking i got peach pink spotting got scared went to urgent care they check hcg level it was normal they said i m pregnant but my blood is O negative so may be its because of that they give me some kind of shot so today just have brown spotting tomorrow have onther blood work .

broodymamma · 03/06/2021 06:35

Goodmorning all. Got 2-3 this morning so should feel calmer...... not feeling any symptoms at all yet. But going to try and stop my manic testing until 21 dpo when my result should be 3 +.

broodymamma · 03/06/2021 06:38

In regards to weight I am starting out 2 stone heavier than my last pregnancy. Not good..... I'm hoping to shift a couple of pounds once the nausea kick in......

broodymamma · 03/06/2021 06:40

Actually my only symptom is waking at 5.30 every morning instead of 7.30.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 03/06/2021 06:49

@lovelly I don't have any spotting yet, but I'm on another thread where several people said they bled a little in the first few weeks and had a healthy pregnancy. Apparently it happens in one third of pregnancies.
Hope you're okay x

Dreamer30 · 03/06/2021 06:54

@broodymamma I've done exactly the same! Poas this morning then thought to myself I need to stop lol I'm also waiting until 21dpo now or maybe just a few days past it because I know I'll panic if it still says 2-3 when it should be 3+ lol. Although I know some women said they never got a 3+ and had a healthy pregnancy

HobnobbingAboutHobnobs · 03/06/2021 07:00

Good morning ladies! I'd love to join you - I got a positive test yesterday morning and am apparently due 16th February! I'm so chuffed, this is the first month and my period isn't due until Monday! DH suggested I take a test because I was being really sensitive to spicy food and had nausea a few days in a row. Symptoms started really early with my toddler though. She's 2 - I wonder what she'll make of all this!?

hullaballoo19 · 03/06/2021 07:33

Good morning :)

Anyone else having really terrible sleep?! For the past 4/5 nights I'm waking almost every hour and getting up an hour or 2 earlier than usual 😩 last night I woke at 2.30, couldn't sleep again until 4, and then continued to wake every hour!

Got 2-3 weeks on a cb digital this morning. I've got one more cheapie in the house which I plan to do tomorrow and then I just want to do one more weeks one next week to see 3+. Not sure if you can get the weeks one in a pack of 1 though..?

Just found out one of my close friends is also pregnant, about 2 weeks ahead of me! So will be nice to be going through it together 😊

Tabbycat92 · 03/06/2021 08:02

@hullaballoo19 yes, waking all the time has been an early indicator for me each time that I'm pregnant.

I'm currently limiting myself to test every other day instead of every day. Luckily I have a load of IC tests, so just working through them. So pleased when the darkest line ever appeared today before the control line!

Congratulations and welcome @HobnobbingAboutHobnobs ! My son is 3, I'm really worrying how he will take it too

Laufey023 · 03/06/2021 08:03

I think I'm out, I started bleeding with cramps this morning. Sad Do you know if I can go to the EPU to be checked or what should I do?
Good luck to you, all, I hope you will be luckier than me.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 03/06/2021 08:08

@Laufey023 I'm so sorry 😐 Hope you're okay. Depending on your area, GP might advise. GP has to refer to EPU in my area, once they did, I was seen that day and had a scan to confirm everything was leaving as it should. They'll probably want to make sure HCG leaves your body also with a blood test.
Take care xxx

Lowkeyloopy · 03/06/2021 08:24

@Laufey023 - I’m so sorry, I’ve been there - look after yourself and take it slow - mourn the loss but remember that it will get better, and it will also be your time before you know it Flowers

Thank you to everyone for the reassuring words about mild cramping. The cramps faded though I did get a sharp jabbing feeling on the right hand side low down last night for like one second. Anyone else get that? From my googling I gather it may be round ligament pain, though 4 weeks seems very early! But I do have really tight hips and back muscles which always cause me issues, so kinda wouldn’t be surprised if muscle/ligament stuff was going to be an issue for me..

Tired this morning.. despite waking up at 6am wide awake - good one... 😴
