Happy to hear about all the 3+ results! I’m 4wks, 5 days today. Going to try to hold out 1 week and then try for a 3+.
@GlassLily I’m also worried about the lack of symptoms. My mum and best friend who recently had a healthy baby have been assuring me it’s totally normal for them to come and go, and that in a few weeks I’ll be wishing I had enjoyed being symptomless!
I’ve had some light cramping which seems to have calmed down today. I was initially tired but not so much any more. Haven’t had sore boobs at all but also haven’t had them pre AF at all recently, which weirdly I think is connected to my diet (no caffeine, very little meat - sounds odd but I googled it!). Just had slightly sore nipples.
I also noticed an increased sense of smell in the first few days but not sure that’s as strong any more.
Anyone who has been through a successful pregnancy before - do you remember when your symptoms kicked in? If ever?!
I was meant to be getting my jab on Friday. I have total confidence in the vaccine itself not being dangerous, but will postpone it until the second trimester just in case of a fever as a side effect.
Also thinking I’ll have an early reassurance scan - having done some extensive research (on Mumsnet), it looks like 8 weeks is the best time to go in terms of maximum reassurance and seeing as much as possible and hearing a heartbeat. I think the private companies suggest going on earlier so that you get to 7 weeks and think “maybe I should get another one…”.
