Yorkiemum89 · 26/05/2021 10:28

@spttc wahoo 🙌🏼 those lines are looking good!! Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one!! 😂

spttc · 26/05/2021 10:34

@Akijas welcome & congratulations 🎉 yeh Iv had a few little twinges and pains. I'm 4wks 3 days today & they've calmed down a little bit but still there kind of. I think anything can be normal as everyone is different, feels things differently etc 💕 Don't worry too much

@spttc Exact same as me! As of today I am 4+3 and due 30th January 2022 with my first also!

expectinglittlebear · 26/05/2021 12:44

@OttilieKnackered @EsseKey Just seen that you both have the same dates as me also! How exciting!

Have any of you three experienced any symptoms yet? Over the past day or two I am been getting heartburn and extreme tiredness - I could fall asleep standing up at the moment haha!

Also, when are you booking in your first scan? I am just awaiting a call back from the midwife after confirming my pregnancy with them. I'm hoping to squeeze the scan in in wk7 if I can, as it is fathers day on 20th June and I would love to be able to surprise our parents with the news then!

init2winit · 26/05/2021 13:10

My days this thread is so busy already!! Hi, is it okay if I cautiously jump on this too please? I've potentially myself to 4wks +4 so hopefully due January 29th?
Kinda freaking out because I've had 2 miscarriages + have a rare kidney condition so I'm classified as "high risk" & going to specialist antenatal for a walk-in. I had all the symptoms (ramdom vomiting, nausea, headache, food aversion particularly chocolate which i usually love, smell sensitivity, hair and teeth look incredible [havent washed my hair in 5 days haha], constipated but I'm peeing every 3 or 4 hours... o and last couple of days my mouth tastes like I've put a handful of change in it👍🏽) but I'm a little scared of the fact my test had the faintest positive result & I've had random spotting...
Anyone here have the implantation bleeding where one day it was like the flow of the last day of your period but literally you could only see it if you wiped on the other days?
I'm scared to go to the early pregnancy unit to find out im not anymore ... I'm talkin 4 days of spotting where day 2 i had to wear a pad & it filled a regular flow day pad, then nothing & i took the test the day after that happened (yesterday) to make sure but i was pregnant & got a SUPER faint line (like it disappeared after 10min)
But then it could it still be viable n I should probably still go because I wouldn't still have all the symptoms, right...?
Aaahhh so excited/ nervous!!
Congratulations everyone 👏 💜 💖

@expectinglittlebear I’m just going to wait for the NHS one I think and I don’t think they give that before about 12 weeks without a good reason. Also want to save every penny I can right now!

I haven’t really had the tiredness yet, just massive boobs and mild nausea. And my tummy definitely feels a bit hard and ‘full’.

EsseKey · 26/05/2021 13:58

@expectinglittlebear no massive symptoms, I have little twinges and cramps from time to time, some random mild nausea at moments, but nothing else. Last time my boobs were exploding from day 1...I guess that every pregnancy is just different.
I will go for a scan (private ofc) around wk 8, which what I did also with last pregnancy (I got bad news back then, but that's another story). For me it's a good compromise, not too early when you can barely see anything, but also not so late as the 12 wk one, which is like ages away from now.

@init2winit sorry to hear about your struggles, sending all my best wishes to you! I didn't have any implantation bleeding both times so I can't share my experience on that...but I would say that if you are in doubt, ring the GP/EPU and get checked! It's anyway better than obsessing and trying to find answers to something so delicate on google (although I know we are aaaaall doing it, so no judgement at all!)

spttc · 26/05/2021 14:05

Oh that's a cute idea @expectinglittlebear for Father's Day! Yes we have a good few of us on the same date, lots very close 😁💕

I think I'm going to have a private scan at the 8 week mark. I'll see!

Can anyone reassure me a bit. I feel like my boobs are less full and hard today so now I’m convincing myself that means everything’s going wrong. 😞

Yorkiemum89 · 26/05/2021 15:46

@OttilieKnackered I'm literally feeling the exact same this afternoon about my boobs and feel as if I'm going a bit mad! My husband is telling me to take a chill pill!! If I'm trying to be reasonable, I'm sure it's just because our hormones are all over the place at the moment? Ups and downs etc

Kayl23 · 26/05/2021 15:50

@OttilieKnackered @Yorkiemum89 I've also had the same issue, they felt really swollen this morning but seems to have got less and less throughout the day. You're probably right though, our hormones are all over the place at the min! xx

OttilieKnackered · 26/05/2021 15:58

Thank you both that is really reassuring!

bailey1802 · 26/05/2021 16:16

@OttilieKnackered I'm exactly the same. First thing in the morning they're so heavy & swollen/sore and throughout the day they calm right down, just slightly tender to touch.

Same as niggles & belly twinges- they come and go all day.. but we have so much going on inside right now we're bound to feel all sorts! Just relax and let your body do what it has to 🙂 x

EsseKey · 26/05/2021 17:03

I agree, the first weeks of pregnancy are literally when everything can happen and feel different from one day to the other! There are people experiencing all symptoms super bad, others not experiencing anything at all, so can you imagine how many shades are in between these two extremes!
I know it's easier said than done but try to relax and distract yourself

mummyh2016 · 26/05/2021 17:38

@bailey1802 are you taking pregnacare? If so they made me poorly when I was having DD as they have a coating. I'm taking seven seas this time and they're a lot better, no coating.

bailey1802 · 26/05/2021 17:48

@mummyh2016 The Holland and Barrett version, exactly the same thing & vitamins in them. But my god I felt like death 🤢 haven't taken today and actually felt human!! Going to switch to just folic acid instead. Awful isn't it xx

SemiFeralDalek · 26/05/2021 19:29

Take your vitamins at night time, just before you go to bed and you'll sleep through the side effects and nausea.

Dolly0706 · 26/05/2021 21:43

Hey, can I join? I’m 6 weeks tomorrow, first pregnancy! Also in my 30s and have PCOS so I’m soo delighted I fell pregnant naturally as we already began seeing a consultant to discuss fertility treatment.
My symptoms so far are sore sensitive boobs, cramps that come and go, tiredness in the afternoons, and serious bloat!!! Is anyone else feel like they are showing already?? I know it’s just bloat but at this rate it’s going to be hard to hide!
I’ve had to tell my best friend as I’m her bridesmaid in a few weeks, and we’ve told our parents too.

Fraanne · 26/05/2021 22:15

@Dolly0706 congrats! Fellow pcos sufferer too! I’m so glad you mentioned the bloat! I wasn’t sure if it was because I’m stuffing my face or hormones but it’s so uncomfortable

GuessHowMuch · 26/05/2021 23:31

Can I tentatively sneak on the thread please? Positive test today and not due until 5th Feb but DC 1 was born at 37 weeks and DC2 was born at 34 weeks so if this is a sticky bean I’ve got no hope of getting through to February 😂

@Dolly0706 I hear you on the bloating, jeans on for the school run and then straight back into comfy elasticated waist!

BDev22 · 26/05/2021 23:36

Hello! I'm 5 weeks today (found out on Friday night!) and I'm so excited! First time mum and loving the entire experience so far ❤️ I hope you're all feeling good and enjoying the moment too! X

spttc · 27/05/2021 07:51
