Yesterday I was constantly hungry! Today not so much. I’ve been having aches on my left side but more up towards my ribs and backs, I think perhaps my kidneys. Trying to drink a tonne of water and see how I go. Feel like a taught bag of anxiety at the moment!! I was never like this with my first and it’s not like me in general.

Minster2012 · 29/04/2021 13:18

@TakeYourFinalPosition I'm ok thanks, but anxious after not feeling anything atm and like you thinking about a scan, but I'm going to try hold out til weekend of 15th/16th so nearly 8 weeks I think? Soooo tempted for one for now too, I've only told my best friend & SIL who is also due Dec

Minster2012 · 29/04/2021 13:19

@DarceyCat I think a little bit of blood can be very ok, we had a bleed for our first at around this time and we got emergency scan & all was well, stay positive 😘🤞🏻

Hxoxox · 29/04/2021 13:26

How is everyone today? I'm getting more anxious as Sunday nears! Keep reading mixed reviews about early scans and I need to stop googling!!

I don't seem to have been eating different but I did eat a share size of space raiders and a bag of haribos for tea the other day lol. 3 double cheese burgers is good going!! 🤣

Pineapple87 · 29/04/2021 13:31

@Hxoxox I thought I was going to be sick lol, I’m loving the carbs atm, I don’t eat sweet things at all never have, but ima sucker for burgers. Glad I haven’t got a sweet tooth atm I’d be a sumo if I did phahaha. X

Sparklestars86 · 29/04/2021 13:36

I cannot stop eating! So far today I've had a bowl of porridge with seeds sprinkled on top for breakfast at home. A packet of crisps at about 10am. Not long since had lunch of tomato pasta, some ham and peas pudding rolls and a jelly. Which didn't even make a dent so I've had a mugshot pasta at my desk to try and satisfy me a little bit. Could eat my own arm at this point... Xx

2021DecemberDueDate · 29/04/2021 14:54

@Hxoxox aren't you another one with no symptoms? Don't know if you saw my post above but I'm in the same boat and the early scan turned out fine! Shout if you've got any questions about the scan Smile

I've started having afternoon toast and a nap. Then it's dinner, catch up on work and back to bed by 9...

Sair44411 · 29/04/2021 15:02

Just waiting on the scan now and feel so nervous! I'm sure all will be fine!

Fingers crossed!

Kinsters · 29/04/2021 15:11

gizmo167 it's so stressful isn't it. I'm checking the toilet paper all the time just waiting for the bleeding to start. I know it's not always a bad sign because I bled with my daughter at the same gestation as the miscarriages but still..hope we both have nice blood free weekends.

Horehound · 29/04/2021 15:14

This morning I felt good and thought maybe that's the sick feeling over with!!

NOPE. Feel shit this afternoon.

I'm eating lots of bacon sandwiches with tomato sauce!

I usually love chocolate etc but don't fancy at all right now.

I ate my sandwich and crisps (usually never eat crisps) before 11. Am having small breakfasts tho, just toast as dont fancy my usual huge bowl of cereal. Just eaten large big Mac meal and a cheeseburger, couldn't shovel it in quick enough. Was the first thing I've actually fancied in days! No idea what to eat for tea tho as can't think of anything that appeals again!

Horehound · 29/04/2021 15:24

So want a cheeseburger now. O also saw someone write a thread about salt and pepper Chinese ribs. Want them too!

I'm so glad reading all of these that it isn't just me wanting to eat everything 😂😂 had bacon and eggs this morning, trying to change my meals a little incase the GD comes back again, but now this afternoon im feeling nauseous and the thought of bacon and eggs is making me want to throw up! Trying to sip water and take my mind off it 🙈

To all the ladies having any sort of bleeding or early scans, wishing you all the luck in the world and fingers crossed all is OK and little beans are just getting comfy 😊❤

TakeYourFinalPosition · 29/04/2021 15:49

Best of luck, @Sair44411

@Minster2012 I'd hold out if you can. I really wish I hadn't had the early one, I'm so much more anxious now than I was before. The midwives called today and advised that I don't have a private scan before my next NHS one - they said if I was likely to get reassurance between them, they'd schedule one, but that babies can grow at very different speeds in the early days and it really is better to wait.

I ate four hot cross buns yesterday afternoon, and I've been out to grab McDonalds chicken nuggets today Blush

@Horehound I woke up without nausea this morning, too! I didn't enjoy the gap, I just worried... and then it's turned up with a vengeance this afternoon, and isn't disappearing when I eat like it normally does.

Who knew early pregnancy was so weird.

climbershell · 29/04/2021 16:42

Early pregnancy sucks! I don't get how some people enjoy being pregnant!!

Yes I'm exactly the same today. Very odd and I feel really unwell. I think if I went to the toilet I would actually throw up but I can't stand it so I don't want to!! I feel really really Ill.

Yesterday at my midwife appointment she said I had quite low blood pressure. I see today it's 100/58. I really don't know anything about blood pressure so how bad or not bad is that??

tuxedocat · 29/04/2021 16:55

@Horehound I usually have low blood pressure and did all the way through with my son. perhaps make a note of how it changes but it doesn’t mean anything bad

Horehound · 29/04/2021 17:04

Ok thank you @tuxedocat

@Horehound it’s what’s normal for you that matters, Doesn’t help feeling rotten though!

Lou8319 · 29/04/2021 17:17

Hi all, newbie on here.
I’m 8+1 with an IVF baby. (Previous natural
Pregnancy with miscarriage, and 5 years trying - tests done, absolutely nothing wrong, just ‘unlucky’).
The nausea has been constant since last Friday. I have to eat little things every 20-30 minutes!

DarceyCat · 29/04/2021 17:19

Thanks for reassuring me everyone! I haven't had any progression of the bleeding and no pain or cramps, so I've just got to hold on till 8.15am tomorrow and hope.fot the best! It's very hard though - my only other pregnancy ended in a MMC, found out at 8 weeks but hadn't developed past ~5, so I have the background fear that I'm incapable of making a baby! Nothing I can do between now and the scan though, so just going to take it easy tonight. Supposed to have a PT session at the gym at 6am.... Maybe I should cancel!

sjhs86 · 29/04/2021 17:45

@lou3819 congrats! Such fantastic news.

We’re in a really similar boat. Previous preg ended in MMC 5 years ago and we started IVF a couple of years ago. We were waiting on a FET when a little surprise happened naturally and here we are 8+6!

You must be delighted 😀

@sjhs86 we were trying for just over 3 years when we got pregnant first time. After the MC we went another year or so And then just decided to go private IVF. We hit the jackpot 1st cycle. We’re so lucky
