Just thought I would pop in and see how everyone is getting on?x

Hey @Blxo94 nice to hear from you. How are you?

I'm ok thanks. Feeling quite sorry for myself as I seem to have food poisoning today which has made me very poorly, and having had covid before Xmas I feel like I am just unhealthy and tired and moaning all the time!

But fingers crossed all seems ok so far with the baby. Growth scan before Xmas looked ok and I have another one this week. I just want to fast forward to the baby arriving now so I can stop feeling so worried all the time!!

Oh you've not had the best time of it have you?! Such a shame. Hopefully the next few weeks you perk up and feel a bit better! Not long to go now! Ah I have another growth scan on the 25th January. Can't wait to see how much she has grown! Feel like it's been ages since I've seen her and like yourself just anxious to have baby out now!

I had a phone call with my consultant last week and she said we will be discussing a date for babies delivery on the 25th aswell so thats exciting gives me something to look towards! Be at 38 weeks I'm sure she said! Which I'm relieved about as I didn't want baby out too soon. But didn't want to do near my due date either! Xxx

So glad everyone is well! When are your due dates? My first Christmas as a mummy was just magical! Xx

@HalGem99 I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your first Christmas as a mummy. Hope you are loving mummy life and making the most of it. If nothing else, at least the journeys we have been on makes us really appreciate it xx

Another update from me.

Saw my consultant today. I will be induced at 38 weeks +2 days. The 14th February 😍!! She is estimated at the moment 5lbs 10oz! So bloody excited but extremely nervous. Hope you are all ok x

@Blxo94 omg not long now! Are you ready for little one's arrival? Xx

@HalGem99 yeah not long at all! Thank god! I'm super uncomfortable and pretty sore now from pelvic girdle pain 😔! She currently weighs now what my son weighed at full term. Just so happy she has grown beautifully and doesnt have FGR like her big brother did! feel so blessed to finally be here... But it's time to come now 😂!

Yeah we are more than ready! I went into some sort of organise panic last week and washed all her clothes etc. I knew I was getting my delivery date yesterday and I think I just got everything done and ready so that I can now relax the last 2 and a bit weeks 😍! Xxx

I'm good thank you @Daffodil21. Nearly 36w now so just on countdown to finish work. I finally made a start on organising some stuff for this baby this weekend, got stuff out of the loft and washed it etc. i feel like that's tempting fate but trying to be positive. I just want the baby out now so that I know it's safe!

I was expecting to have been induced by now (38w5) but he was doing so well on the growth scan ie 95th percentile!! that the consultant was happy to wait. Going to try another sweep on Wednesday, and then my guess is they'll give it 48hrs to see if anything happens before moving up to the next level...
Spending most of my time on the yoga ball trying to encourage him along now though as OH has finally finished the nursery 😁

Hi all, can I join? Just found out today that I'm 4+2 after a miscarriage last summer at 8 weeks.

In to start the induction process today - 6 hours in and nothing obvious yet but I hadn't expected it to work quickly, and at least the hospital food isn't bad

Hi @grosgirl, I'd say you're absolutely welcome to join, but to warn you that the current activity on this thread is people who've just had/are about to have their babies so you might prefer elsewhere.
I totally remember the early stages though, so as clichéd as it sounds try to stay relaxed and take each day as it comes.

Baby boy arrived last night safely at around 7pm, 7lb 7oz 💙💙💙
Induction was fine - waters broke in the night (Hollywood stylee, all over the floor!) then went to the labour ward 24hrs after induction started, dilated from 1cm to 10 within 5ish hours (entonox made me sick, morphine was lovely 🙂). Feeling fine, mostly just unbelievably relieved to have him here safely. What a long old road this has been - really appreciated the support here on the thread xx

This has taken a bit longer to update than planned, sorry guys!

My baby Girl arrived on the 16th February, at 20.01 💖 my induction was very difficult and we had complications at the end but I'm now recovered and our little lady is just a dream! We named her Mila. Soaking up all these baby cuddles. Cannot believe I have a daughter 😭💜!
