Hi all, hope things are going well so far everyone - @treesall and @Blxo94 that you're both feeling ok at this stage, @Daffodil21 with your little man, and @HalGem99 at one day past your EDD!

I caved (again) and went for (another) private scan this morning, as no matter how many people reassured me that symptoms disappearing at this stage is normal it was still making me anxious.
All looking great though - it's a boy 💙💙💙

Blxo94 · 08/09/2021 17:23

@GreenGecko36 ahhh! Congratulations! A little boy! That's wonderful. So happy for you!

Yeah I hope everyone is well and doing good too! I'm currently unwell with coronavirus so I've had better days but I'm on day 7 of having it and starting to just perk up. It's not been nice at all! Luckily I have the one dose of the vaccine in July as I would of hated to see how unwell I could have been! I have my next scan on tuesday so looking forward to that. I've started to feel flutters and my boobs are leaking haha! I'm now 15 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Can't believe I'm saying that 😍

Looking forward to seeing all your updates!xxx

Daffodil21 · 08/09/2021 17:34

Good luck with your scan today @Blxo94!

HalGem99 · 14/09/2021 13:38

So happy to come on here and see that all of your pregnancies are going well.

My little lady was born on 09/09/2021 weighing 7 lbs 8 oz. She is everything we've ever dreamed of. I was in hospital for 8 days before she was born and then had to have an episiotomy and forceps lost a far bit of blood but all worth it!

Picture of my rainbow/sugar baby attached.

Keep going girls xx

I honestly can't express how happy I am for you. What a rollercoaster! X

Blxo94 · 14/09/2021 13:56

@HalGem99 she is absolutely beautiful! What's her name?

And my scan went amazing today! Couldn't find out gender as the umbilical cord and their foot were in the way. But baby looks perfect ❤️ still can't believe it xxx

Daffodil21 · 14/09/2021 14:04

Brilliant news @Blxo94 !!

OP posts:
HalGem99 · 14/09/2021 14:48

Her name is Amelia.

So glad to hear that your scan went well. Will you have a repeat one to find out the gender xx

Blxo94 · 14/09/2021 15:03

Aw beautiful! Congratulations to you and your partner!

And we will get to find out at our 20 week scan in 3 weeks time! We had our 16 week one today 😍 my consultant is lovely. I wasn't expecting her to even look for us but she did. Just unfortunate she couldn't see! Naughty baby! I've heard that NHS scans can be pretty strict in telling before 20 weeks!x

treesall · 28/09/2021 12:52

@HalGem99 & @Daffodil21 how are you both and your beautiful babies?

@Blxo94 how are you? On countdown to that 20w scan?

I've got a 16w scan this week and I'm nervous! I think that if all is well I will be told to stop my meds and be discharged from the miscarriage clinic, eeeeeeeek. I'm absolutely petrified, it's keeping me up at night!

Blxo94 · 28/09/2021 13:02

Hi @treesall aw I'm so happy for you! I had a 16 week scan done too. Its crazy how much bigger they look! Have you felt any flutters or anything yet?

And yeah my "20 week scan" is next Wednesday I will be 19 weeks and 4 days! I'm so excited!!! Can't wait to update you all!

You will need to let us know how your 16 week scan goes! I always get nervous before a scan, it's only natural after having losses before. Wish it wasn't that way, but the sigh of relief makes it so worth the worry ❤️

Hope everyone is doing well 😁xxx

Daffodil21 · 01/10/2021 17:09

@treesall getting on well thank you!! Still can't actually believe we're here! Have you had your scan yet??

@Blxo94 absolutely. I lost count of how many scans I had - it was somewhere between 15-20 and I was worried before every single one, until I could feel movement and then I was ok. Good luck next week - I hope it all goes well and you get some kicks soon! My placenta was at the front so it took ages to feel him! Have you felt movement yet? Do you know where your placenta is?

OP posts:
treesall · 01/10/2021 19:37

Hi @Daffodil21 I have indeed had my scan. All was fine and so I've stopped the medication and am discharged from the clinic. Eeeek!

We told my in laws a couple of weeks ago and they won't stop texting and telling us how hurt they are that we didn't tell them sooner and nagging about when we are going to tell others. Im just not ready yet and it's giving me the rage! I am so close to telling her to F off, but of course I'm far too polite to do that!

@Blxo94 that's fab your 20w scan is so soon, how exciting! Eeeeeeeeee! x

GreenGecko36 · 07/10/2021 18:44

All good at the 20 week scan today - very wriggly again but all of the measurements were nicely in the expected range.
I already knew I had an anterior placenta from previous scans, so no surprise when that was confirmed, but even with that I think I might be feeling the beginnings of some movement 😊
I have another scan in two weeks with the specialist fetal medicine team at a different hospital to check blood flow is as it should be (due to my clotting disorder), and then another one at 30 wks as there was a suggestion of placenta previa today - this may be the most photographed unborn child in history!!

Hope your 20wk scan was good too @Blxo94, and that you're starting to feel more confident @treesall - and don't feel bad about telling your MiL to f-off, she's obviously fortunate enough to have never felt how we all feel!!

HalGem99 · 04/12/2021 21:13

How are you all getting on?? Xx

Blxo94 · 04/12/2021 21:29

Oh hi @HalGem99

Im doing well! Currently 28 weeks pregnant. We didn't end up finding out babies gender. We tried and unfortunately baby wasn't behaving all scans I've had haha! So we are having a nice surprise!

I was diagnosed with GD at 25 weeks which sucks but luckily I'm managing good with diet only so far ❤️! I have a growth scan on the 14th December. I'm so excited to see them again. Haven't seen them since 22 weeks!

Hope all is well with you and all the other girls. Can't wait to see replies and see how everyone is getting on.

Hope you are all well xx

HalGem99 · 04/12/2021 21:38

Omg I am sooooo happy for you that everything is going well!!! You've got a cheeky little monkey already then but a surprise will be nice. Boo to the gd diagnosis, I've been there and it socks but so worth it in the end. And like you say you get extra scans for free so not all that bad. If you have any questions just ask but please keep us updated as I think about you all alot and pray that everything is going well for everyone xx

GreenGecko36 · 05/12/2021 12:54

Hi @HalGem99, thanks for checking in on us, I hope your baby girl has settled in well ❤️
@Blxo94, welcome to the third trimester!!

I'm a little over 28 weeks too, and also having growth scans on account of my blood clotting disorder - measuring around the 70th percentile at the scan last week so going well so far.
I do lay awake at night quite a lot making sure I can feel him kicking, but I expect even pregnant women who haven't been through what we've been through do that.
Seeing a consultant next week, so hopefully will learn a bit more about what my options are - I'd like to go to the midwife-led unit but not sure if I'm too high risk for that. I/we are definitely being well-looked after!

Hope everyone else on this thread is doing ok xx

HalGem99 · 05/12/2021 13:56

@GreenGecko36 fantastic news!!!!! So happy for you ladies! Xx

treesall · 05/12/2021 14:05

Hi ladies. So pleased to hear all is well with you @GreenGecko36 and @Blxo94!

@HalGem99 how are you getting on!? Hope you're enjoying mummy life.

All good here too, for which I'm so grateful. Coming up for 26 weeks now. Husband has just had a positive covid test today which is less than ideal but just hoping I avoid it! x

Blxo94 · 05/12/2021 14:10

I'm so glad everyone is well!

@treesall sorry your husband has covid. I hope he isn't too poorly with it. Me and my partner both had covid when I was 14 weeks pregnant. Wasn't pleasant. Fingers crossed you dodge it!
@GreenGecko36 keep us updated! I wasn't getting growth scans anyways due to my son having IUGR so be interesting to see roughly how big baby is measuring!
@HalGem99 hope you and baby are doing great! Xx

HalGem99 · 05/12/2021 15:01

Honestly so pleased for you all!! Mum life is just amazing! I look at her every day and feel so blessed to be given the chance to be her mummy! Xx

@halgem99 she's one beautiful little girl ❤️

Hope everyone's recent scans have went well.

After 3 ultrasounds and baby misbehaving at all... We finally found out at 30 weeks that baby is a little girl 💖 I'm in disbelief still and convinced she will come out with a winky haha!

She is growing amazingly thank god! Her estimated weight is 2lbs 9oz. Currently in breech position but of course plenty time to shift her butt the right way round!

Hope everyone is well x
